Northwest Animal Clinic And Hospital

Albuquerque, New Mexico
General Info
Families in Albuquerque place their trust in Northwest Animal Clinic and Hospital which designs care environments using sound movement and space elements to guide decision-making throughout New Mexico. During the initial minutes observation occurs without physical contact. The staff observes pets as they investigate corners while responding to subtle noises and positioning themselves in relation to movement. The diagnostic flow adapts to individual conditions during operation. When pets exhibit breath-holding during eye exams or react to neck contact by flinching staff alter visit sequences. Veterinary choices gain depth through owner observations about their pet's wind response, sleep space adjustments, and frequency of initiating home contact. Northwest Animal Clinic and Hospital provides services including diagnostics, pain modeling, mobility screening, environmental allergy assessment alongside preventive planning and chronic condition long-term stabilization. The scheduling of services for animals healing from trauma or overstimulation can involve dividing sessions into numerous time slots while incorporating decompression breaks. The patterns of time-of-day combined with home social environments dictate how results communication occurs and at what pace. Follow-up appointments disregard specific dates because they are arranged according to pets' recovery patterns during the post-care period. Owners receive training to detect post-visit behavioral anomalies such as room avoidance slowed stretching and vocal delay. The opportunity for communication remains available to discuss adjustments if routines change or symptoms emerge slowly. Northwest Animal Clinic and Hospital provides veterinary services throughout Albuquerque and New Mexico's surrounding regions by interpreting the subtle signals pets display combined with what their owners perceive during each silent pause between heartbeats and movements.

When we adopted our puppy Tony he had an upper respiratory infection. Northwest Animal Clinic got us in the same day we called. We had to go through a separate enterance to make sure no one else in the clinic would get sick and I appreciate that they care about all the animals there. We saw Dr. Falk and loved her! We had to go twice for the infection and both times the staff were great and helpful! Tony is doing much better now!! Everyone from the moment we called was great to us! Would give no stars if possible. I find your response to my review comical. Please define verbal abuse. My experience with your establishment goes back 30+ years. My 1st memory of your service was receiving flowers and a condolence card for the lost of my childhood cat KC. That is where you set the bar, and where you earned much leeway in following years. As the years passed your service changed and you were more inclined to prescribe copious amounts of RX (are you getting a kick back from Pfizer and the like?) Your over prescribing eventually was the cause of death of my beloved dog and when I made the decision to go to another vet your incompetent staff was incapable of forwarding her current records AFTER multiple requests and attempts. My frustration and dissatisfaction were caused by you and your staff. As for the necessity to call 911 on me, seriously? Being stern with your fragile staff over the phone does not constitute a call to 911. Lastly, it is clear from your responses to all the reviews that did not give you high stars that you are incapable of taking responsibility. It is not your fault, they are liars..... Read Less

This place is terrible. I took my dog due to an abscessed tooth. $500-$600 dollars later the tooth was removed which was fine. 6 months later on the opposite side of his mouth another abscessed tooth popped up. $500-$600 dollars again and this one was removed. This time when I went to pick up my dog he was full of fluid from the IVs. He looked like a water balloon. When I asked about it hey said no worries it will be absorbed which it was but still made me feel uncomfortable with them over hydrating my dog by that much. He is a small dog...16lbs and it had to have been a gallon of extra fluid floating around in his tissues and made him edematous. Not 6 months later on the original side he gets a 3rd abscessed tooth. This time I took him to a different vet cause I felt something not right was going on. The 2nd vet requested my dogs records multiple times and this clinic would not send them. After the tooth was removed the vet showed me the tooth she pulled. It had a perfectly drilled hole on the tooth from prior dental work. I don't know if it was done on purpose or accident but it makes me very suspicious. I will never take my dog to this terrible vet. I say avoid them at all costs. Read Less
