Got our puppy neutered here and they pulled out some baby teeth that weren't comming out. Now his apatite has improved dramatically! They made my friends puppy sick and he was just fine before he had his shots. Then they tried to charge to see the vet again. And they tried saying she was there a week before when it was 3 days!! Had to get my aunt to go down there with us because they treated us with such disrespect. The staff was rude. And and pushy! So uncaring! All they care about its hurring up and pushing you through. So snapy in their tones. I will never take my dog here again, nor will i allow a family member or friend to take a ANIMAL OF ANY KIND THERE!!! Read Less

They're quick and do a good job. I still take my pet here. But I would not recommend getting your pet microchip here they charged me $50 not to mention the $20 fee the microchip company asks to register the chip. Don't forget its $6 if you want to ever update your information too. Read Less

Absolutely had the rudest woman that answers the phone.Our minipin needs to be put down.I asked what they charged.. She asked questions where our vet was ? Then cut me off. My wife called and asked how much the charge would be. She said iff you have a vet take the dog there. This woman needs to find a job in the dealing with prisons and in mates.Its hard putting our 14 yr old dog down.She made my wife cry with her stupid questions..that werent pertinent of asking costs to put her down.I will never take any of our animals for fear of her big mouth and maybe harm to our pet. i never give anyone a 5 or a 10... just how i am... we have used vetco for years and are very happy with the service and the cost... we neutered/spayed dogs and cats... had stitches, shots, you name it and have always found them to be great... yes sometimes if there are a lot of people there you have to wait awhile... we are both retired so that is not an issue for us... I wouldn't recommend them to anybody the front desk lady or nurse is extremely rude!!! I took my cat to get spayed I had asked simple questions and she treated me like I was dumb for asking questions and she really didn't answer any of my simple questions, she took my cats weight told me she would not call me when my cat was out of surgery I would just have to come get her after 4. When I did come get my cat it took forever to check out then she told me that my cat had a hard time during surgery and she lost a lot of blood, it would have been nice to get a phone call with that info so I knew. While she was checking me out she took a couple phone calls and every phone call she took she had a very rude tone and was rolling her eyes the whole conversation, she also was very rude when I scheduled my appointment. After she finally got me checked out she told me my cat would be put on pain meds for her blood loss which doesn't make any sense it has been 24 hours and my cat is still completely out of it. Bottom line I guess you get what you pay for and I got crappy service. FYI this lady has a huge attitude problem if you want to be treated like idiot this is the right place to go. I'd wish I would have spend the extra money and taken my cat to professionals. Read Less

THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE!!    The room that they perform surgery is filthy.  I took two healthy pups to get spayed and that nite one of them ended up dead and the other had to go to another Vet ER for emergency surgery. I spent  alot of money at the Vet ER and Vetco never re-embursed me not one dime !!  I made the worst mistake to pick Vetco due to the fact that it was not as expensive as other places and the old saying is true you get what you pay for!!   Vet ER in los lunas saved my second pups life.  They are no different than going to an OR for humans.The envoirment is clean and sterile and they wear masks and practice sterile techniques.  DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO VETCO  BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
