She has been my vet for years but I recently brought my 6lb dog in for a small limp. She gave him previcox and he started acting lethargic, stopped eating a few doses in. Brought him someone else and thank god they did blood work which showed he was in liver failure. 6k later at the ER vet, it was said that this was from the drug which IS NOT even supposed to be given to dogs UNDER 12.5lbs. So basically he overdosed on pain meds which put him into liver failure. I have called the haven everyday for the last 4 days and I’ve left a messages and have talked to the receptionist. She is completely ignoring me! Do your research on previcox please. The same exact situation as happened to so many dogs!

Dr T is absolutely nothing but a wonderful woman. I have been a client for 14 yrs. Our previous dog was a rott/husky,and was 5 years diabetic. Needless to say... we were frequently there. Dr T and the staff always were more than accommodating and professional. Not to mention affordable. Our current dog is a very excitable bully mix... who had nail surgery yesterday... and they handled her issues with ease and she came home much happier. There is no other vet in the area that cares as much as she does... and I'm lucky to be a client...!!

Gave my cat the best care! Went above and beyond every time I brought her in. Our cat had FIP and was in the office often. I wouldn’t want my animals to be in any other care besides Dr. Desiree’s.

Dr Desiree has been my vet for 15+ years.....she is wonderful, compassionate and absolutely available! Daily afternoon walk-ins are a godsend. I rescue abused/abandoned cats&kittens.....her reasonable rates has allowed me to care for multiple animals. (I always call first and the great staff gives me a "heads up" on what the waiting room looks like...a good idea). There have been brief periods where the dr hasn't taken on new clients...but that is just a testament to the quality of care she offers.

We have been bringing our pets to the Haven Animal Hospital, in Malta, NY for over 15 years. We have found Dr. Desiree and her staff to be friendly, compassionate healers. Rene has been extremely compassionate when our border collie Gracee had to be put down. This was a very emotional time for my wife Linda and myself and Desiree was there for not only Gracee, but us as well. I can honestly say that your furry family members will not receive better treatment anywhere else. They get an emphatic two paws up rating from our dogs Dusty and Simon.

Haven and Dr. Desiree have been my vet for years. She truly is in this business for the right reasons. She makes having an animal affordable. She has never let me down. When other vets would have operated and done xrays and a lot of expensive tests she used her wisdom and experience and told me how to heal my dog. It worked. Multiple times with multiple dogs through the years. I highly recommend Dr. Thiebeault.

I have had pets in my family all my life and on many occassion had them to in the vet's office for various things. I have never met a vet like Dr. Desiree Thibeault. She has a true love for animals and cares for each one as if they were her own. Dr. Desiree also understands that a pet is part of the family and she takes time to explain what is happening to your pet and how you can make life easier on your pet while it ill or injured. Dr. Desiree is not in practice for the almighty dollar like some vets are, she is in practice to help animals! Her fees are more than fair and has a variety of pet care products available that are affordable. There are cages in the front office with cats that need homes that otherwise would not have had a chance. Each have been well cared for and healthy. I can not say enough good about Dr. Desiree except that if you ever need a vet this lady should be your choice. Hats off to you Dr. Desiree Thineault and Thank you from Kegan (kitten) and her family.
