I had a home visit for a terminally ill pet. We felt it was the best choice for our pet, who gets very stressed by travel, but frankly, we were nervous about the level of care that would be possible in our house and our comfort level with a team of strangers coming in to work in our home. A vet and vet tech arrived together, and the vet had read our pets records from another facility (which they obtained themselves, the same day as our appointment), and arrived informed about our pet's condition and our concerns. The visit was professional but friendly, attentive to our pets immediate needs, and respectful and responsive to our concerns and goals as owners in providing the best quality of life in our pet's final days. We never felt rushed, the vet even brushed our pet, which, I think might have been as much for our comfort as for our pet. I was extremely satisfied with both the clinical care, the business experience of the arranging for the visit and the billing, the compassion shown for our animal and the respect shown for us as pet owners. NYC is a big place, with a lot of quality vet services, but this would be my choice again for any non-emergency or routine care, and I would not hesitate to use them again for this, or any of our other pets. I wish I could get human care house calls that were this good. Read Less
