Great staff, great care for my dog. I would recommend them to everyone. Seriously, I had been to 3 different vets and my dog was so sick and in so much pain with no results from any of them. We've have taken our family pets to FLAH for many years. The staff is exceptional & our pets actually enjoy their visit! We also have exotics and their new exotics vet is exceptional. We needed a USDA certified vet to complete a European Union Health Certifcate for our two dogs as my husband is in the military and we will be moving overseas. They saw us immediately to make sure the dogs were up to date on everything required by the country of entry and made sure we were seen in the time allotment required. We went twice and were pleased with our visits. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only downside was the cost. It was quite expensive but we were aware of some of the cost involved when moving overseas. Previously coming from Key West, we are used to high costs, but here it was more than when we lived in the Keys. But overall we were pleased with the staff and how amazing they were with our two very different dogs. Read Less

They were able to get my cat right after he was hit by a car with a mangled foot.however i will not go back there when i couldnt afford to hand them 300 dollars it was suggested i put him down!!! In front of my three year old who was scared for his cat..i was able to get him seen at the lyons vet and they are tsking care of my baby and are working with me for payment.. Read Less

We adopted an eight month old pit from a local shelter and she became extremely aggressive. The vet told me to have her put down end of story. I said I wasn't comfortable with that, she was less than a year old. I repeated asked if there was any other options. NO was the only answer. When your vet tells you there is nothing you can do for a pet you love it heartbreaking and she was rude and treated me like I was waiting her time. 6 months later I have found a wonderful vet who stayed late so we could come in when all other dogs were gone. She did blood work and prescribed meds, made med changes and was truly working in the best interest of my dog. Night and day for me this place. Her patience with my inquiries and her overall positivity sealed the deal that this was where I want my goat kids to be vetted. Upon arrival, we were all given a warm welcome. Our veterinarian and her tech came to the lobby, shook my hand and thoroughly explained what the plan was for our visit. My daughter has rabbits. When her oldest and very first bunny developed breast cancer, Dr. Tyrrell was there for us. She helped us through every step of the way, from the surgery, to the aftercare, and when the cancer returned (as she had warned us it would), the grief counseling and the inevitable euthanasia. We stumbled into Finger Lakes Animal Hospital with an emergency, because our regular vet was out of town, the next vet we would have visited was not accepting patients and FL Animal Hospital's site said they were accepting new patients. Our 10yo dog had developed hemorrhages in his eyes overnight. First, they made an appointment for us within an hour and a half. They were gentle and kind with him. I was upset, and would never have been able to give all the information I wanted to give if they hadn't been so calm and asked all the right questions. Our worst fears were confirmed that our pup had developed lymphoma. Almost a week out from that visit, and I truly feel that we were blessed to find this office. Dr. Campbell has called us checking on Shiloh and has asked me to call not only if something changes, but every couple of days just to keep updated on how Shiloh's doing. When I frist walked through the door with my puppy Bentley everyone was so welcoming and I immediately had a calm sense that this is the place! The staff were so kind and they not only talk with you they talk to your animals. I new right away that Bentley would receive fantastic care. I loved especially the time the doctor's spend with their patients. There's no hurry,you never feel like a number on some asembly line. Everyone at the practice is very friendly, warm and caring when taking care of my furbabies, and they are very nice to me as well.
