Dr. Hale here was amazing. Very caring and loving. He showed my kitten lots of love on our first visit. He explained everything with such detail. Had an appointment confirmed by email and by the Pet-desk app for wed, arrived and was told appointment was for Thursday. Showed the appointment confirmation to the receptionist and was told they were short a Doctor. I was told, I would have to come back. I took time off of work and can't come in at there beck and call. This appointment could have been performed by a vet tech, the office wasn't even busy. Will look for another vet clinic. I should not be penalized for there Screw-up Read Less

I have been going there for almost 2 yrs. Extremely friendly and helpful. The were especially great when my dog had cancer. They did everything possible for her. We had to take Oobie, our Australian Shepherd, for her last vet visit a few days ago. It was a sad time, needless to say, but the wonderful staff at Perry Vet helped us through it. Oobie was almost 13 and had developed cancer; she lived a dream life for a dog, running through the woods at my in-laws' farm, chasing deer and making friends with the occasional stray cow. The people at Perry Vet were gentle, understanding, and respectful, and we got to say goodbye in private before the doctor came in to free her from her pain. Wonderful office staff, all the girls know my dog and I by name, awesome vet techs, and we were usually seen by Dr. Hale, who is exceptional.He treated my dog like his own, with love and compassion, and always answered my many questions about her diabetes ,with total honesty and respect. I am so grateful to have a place like this in our community where I could trust them with my dogs life, for her care, and inevitably, when it was her time to be euthanized, which was done with great dignity. We arrived with all 3 of our dogs and as always Dr Hale is amazing. He takes time with each dog and shows compassion. You can truly tell he enjoys what he does and has passion. My mother had always gone to another vet for our dog Gibby, we decided to switch to here, and they treated us amazingly. Gibby had a massive seizure on memorial day at the age of 13, we knew this was the end, we called the vet and they meet us at the clinic to put down our girl. They even sent us a sympathy card for the loss of our loved one. This is the best vet clinic I have been too. They offer 24 hour emergency service (other vets tell you to go to Orchard Park emergency clinic where the prices are triple). They take care of my dogs, horses and have even cared for my goat. They are always very friendly and honest with me. Not very satisfied with the after hours service. My dog's stomach swelled to twice it's original size, so I immediately called and he gave me one of two options, it was either her stomach flipped or a different stomach thing, but either way she would need surgery. Whoever he was, he works in the office in Perry. He then proceeded to tell me that I would have to call somebody else because all his vet techs were at their Christmas party. I felt like they didn't care about my dog's emergency situation. Thank god he does NOT work in Batavia or I would be switching vets in a heartbeat. Read Less

I went used the satellite office in Livonia for years and liked the vets that saw my pets, then a new vet Dr. Littteer appeared.    No concern for the animal,  contradicted what another vet in the practice told me to do and never read the animal`s chart.    What a disaster  I ended up walking out of the office without completing the visit.   I found another vet who is WONDERFUL      AND  a whole lot cheaper!!!      After 15 years, I realized that they charge Way more than other practices in the area. I had gone to Batavia Animal for year prior to Perry taking it over, first problem I took my female dog Moxie in for an xray to find out how many puppies she had in there a Perry vet name Peter saw her looked at the xray and said 4 maybe 5 I told him Moxie had had a previous c-section and if she only had 3 in there I was going to schedule a c-section Peter said no she has more than 3 she should be fine well 4 dayslater she went into labor  ok course the puppy was to bid so at midnight I droe over an hour to c-section out 4-5 puppies there were only 3 thatis why they were to large, because of her previous c-section and being in labor for 4 -5 hours I had to spay her of course they charged through the nose. Second problem when Moxies puppies went in for their check up at 6 weeks old the bill was outrageous almost 3 times the normal bill the women behind the counter said there has got to be an error this price is too high I will redo the bill and send it to youwell the bill came in at almost 3 times the normal price I called and was told no that was the new pricing mind you they never informed me that there was a price increase prior to seeing my puppies. Now I haven't been to many veterinary clinics, but this one seems fine to me (I'm writing in response to the very negative review). Sure it's expensive, but it seems to be that way all over WNY. We've actually found it worth the trip to Ohio to get our dogs' teeth cleaned! (we have family there anyway). But the Yorkshire Vet has taken good care of my dogs for years. Before I had my tiny puppy spayed, they were very clear about risks and benefits to the dog for the procedure in general and methods of sedation/painkilling, and costs for each method. I never gave it much thought until I saw the crazy negative review, but I've never had a bad experience, and will keep going unless I find one that's closer (unlikely). Read Less
