We've been with Churchville vet since 2010. Love Dr. Parsons, he has always given our dog Blue wonderful attention (and his staff is clearly in love with Blue and their workplace) and helped us through some new diagnoses especially when there was uncertainty. John, one of the vet techs that I've worked with a lot, is fantastic. I was skeptical about the addition of a new vet in the last year or two and not always seeing Dr. Parsons every visit but Dr. Walker has proven to be a great complement to the practice. It was clear that Dr. Parsons had discussed Blue with her and continuity of care is so important. She is super friendly and always up for discussing options and their risks/benefits. We took our cats and dogs to this vet for at least 15 years. The care was good. We always paid right away for services. Recently we incurred a bill during a time of my life that we had illness and death in the family. The bill was overlooked. Instead of checking our history with the office, they turned it over to a collector, and once we paid, sent us an ugly letter saying that we are no longer welcome as clients at their office. They may act like they care about your family, but the truth is, it comes down to the money. Just a warning. Read Less

We have been customers of CVH for 12+ years and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Parsons and everyone that works, or has worked here throughout the years. Dr. Parsons truly loves what he does and it shows. And his staff loves working for him. He has been incredible with our dogs over the years -- greeting them and making sure they are comfortable with him. If they dont want to be picked up, he will get down to their level to complete their exam. The care and compassion Dr. Parsons showed many years ago when one of our dogs was severely injured in a car accident I have never forgotten. As our dog lay in the emergency hospital and we contemplated what to do, he took the time to personally call and help us understand all the options (amputation vs. reconstruction) we had in front of us as well as some of the obstacles we were facing. When he found out a week later that we had put him down (due to an unforeseen development) he again personally called to offer his condolences and talked for about 10 minutes. Fast forward to a couple of years ago when we had to say goodbye to our almost 14 year old lab, Diana, who was a patient here for most of her life. Dr. Parsons and his staff were simply amazing. They made sure we had the space and privacy we needed to say goodbye for as long as we needed without worrying about walking out into a waiting room full of patients with their owners. As if that wasnt enough, a few months later Dr. Parsons and CVH donated to a pet foundation in her name. For all of our pets, Churchville Veterinary Hospital has been a wonderful place to take them. The staff is always helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have NEVER had any issue with how anyone has treated me personally, or my dogs, at CVH -- unlike our previous vet which was the reason I came to CVH. I wouldnt consider taking my dogs anywhere else. Definitely a 5 star business! Read Less

I had to say good bye to my 13 year old best friend a couple weeks ago - and the doctors at this hospital walked me through it with respect, information, and time... I will not forget that whole experience - it was as positive as losing a pet can possibly be. and now I have a new baby boy who went in for his first wellness visit - and again - knowledgeable, friendly, professional, not in a hurry - I did not feel like I took up too much time, or asked too many questions or that they were going to push me into making decisions about the care of my puppy because they know better than me. Instead, I got lots of information, lots of general education, I asked lots of questions and they were answered - and I left feeling good and cared for... and empowered to make good decisions about my pets care. When I had my kitten spayed here, they made sure she was healthy before putting her under anesthesia, by running blood work. They used lots of monitors on her to make sure she was ok while she was having her surgery. It gave me great piece of mind to know they took every precaution to make sure Jazzy made it through her surgery. The technician was very good about explaining everything to me. He spent a lot of time with me and answered all my questions. The hospital is clean. The staff is friendly. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Read Less

We've been visiting Churchville Vets for 10 years, since our Australian Cattle Dog Bear was a puppy. They have always been great, especially in emergencies. Bear tore his ACL years ago, and had surgery. With their care he is doing great. Also came to our rescue when he ate a tennis ball. The local emergency vet wanted to perform immediate surgery, but Dr. Heller's conservative approach proved the best course. The staff are always friendly and professional, everything is very clean, and did I mention Dr. Heller is great? We wouldn't think of taking Bear anywhere else, definitely would recommend them.
