The doctors at th is clinic have always been amazing. I take my bird to them for his wellness checks almost every year. I also had to bring him in due to an injury and they took care of him right away and put my mind at ease. I've taken my hedgehog here before and was actually recommend here by breeders. I had a positive experience and that's why I was returning to this location. I called on Saturday because my hedgehog was very ill and he needed to be seen, couldn't find me in the system so she had to put me in as a new patient, fine whatever. At the time I didn't think it mattered until midnight that night when I needed a vet because he was very very ill, because they couldn't locate me earlier in the day they classified me as a new patient so they refused to help my dying animal when I needed them, gave me the phone number to Cornell which is 4 hours away from us saying they couldn't help me then had the nerve to call me and get snotty on the phone when I didn't show up to the appointment because my hedgehog ended up passing away Saturday night. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a vet. If you're in this business you need to actually help when people need you, not turn them away. My boyfriend contacted on my behalf and they said it was their mistake, that I was in there, the person who was trying to locate me previously was just doing it wrong. Dr. Burdeaux and the vet techs and receptionist are all phenomenal. I have a paralyzed sugar glider with multiple issues and they address all my questions and concerns during the visit, and most treatments are done in the room as they are explaining everything. Dr. Reed and the entire staff team were wonderful when completing a wen trim on my Oranda Goldfish George and gave him a pain killer after the surgery. The facilities are very clean and well organized. The male vet that saw my animals there knew much more about the care of my monitor than most exotic handlers ive been met in the past. They treated all my animals with care and a firm but gentle hand and i will continue going to this vet.
