My review is directed at the supporting staff, not the Drs. Our pet was a patient since 2006, before it was True Care. Over the past year, we experienced several communication gaps. It was as basic as a food order being ready for pick up or as serious as finding a solution to calm our old anxious cat prior to a visit that needed to be scheduled quickly. The moment we expressed our frustration to the woman who picked up the phone, we feel we were dismissed and our concern was not heard. She didn't CARE and had no interest in connecting with an upset pet owner. We immediately found another Vet. This resulted in True Care sending us a passive/aggressive letter in the mail. This one person has negatively impacted the entire brand of True Care. We hope this review serves as a method to do better. We wish your business well. Read Less

They are just really rude. The one female vet is a fat sack of A holes. She was really mean to my dog, and put a muzzle on him. Everytime I would ask her a question she literally would just roll her eyes at me. I feel like she's the one who needs the muzzle. Also secretary has apple sauce for brains. I've been a client for years, and they make it hard to even book an appointment. I'm done with this place. Read Less

True Care Veterinary has taken care of my black lab since we got him at 3 months... he's now over 3 years old. The doctors go above and beyond for their patients, "kids" they like to call the animals. My dog loves going! They really do treat everyone like family. Read Less

To give this place one star pushing it, maybe half a star at best. I took my puppy there after adopting him and I physically saw worms in his stool. So I called true care and scheduled an appointment and fecal sample. They said he had no worms. A few weeks later my pup had severe diarrhea that wasn't getting better and I had no idea how to fix it, so back to true care we go. Again, they said it was just a bacterial infection so they gave him an antibiotic - flagyl. So i have my puppy the whole weeks worth and he got better. Then 2 weeks after finishing the medicine he had diarrhea again. At this point I'm thinking WTF! So instead of taking him back to true care, I took him to a vet in Eden (much more professional and much nicer and the vet actually talks to you about your dog not the receptionists). Turns out my pup has had worms in his system since I've had him and true care failed to diagnose him twice and give him the proper medication. 3 vet visits later he is happy and healthy with all appropriate medication including a dewormer and heart worm medicine, along with the antibiotic and probiotic because the antibiotic alters the digestive flora and the probiotic helps to regulate (this also wasn't given by true care or any kind of deworming medications). To top off my whole true care experience they don't even let pet owners back with their animals to see what's going on or what they're doing...this is the first vet I've ever gone to that does that (real shady if you ask me)! So, to end my rant here...to say I'm less than impressed with this place is an understatement! I will never be recommending this place or bringing another animal of mine there ever again. I think it's a tad much to charge $20 JUST for your animal to walk through the door and than ANOTHER $12 to cut their toe nails. $32 JUST to get your dog's toe nails clipped. Also when I had taken my dog their on an Emergency appointment a couple months ago, the secretary was very rude and had a very "stuck up" attitude. The other one was nice. Wow, just wow. What a difference in this veterinary practice now that it's under new ownership.  We had left the previous practice a few years ago in disgust an bitterness. There's no comparison between the two.  True Care took us as a client on an emergency basis when our vet was our of town and had no one on call and they even called to see how our little dog was doing after her visit. I've only brought my baby girl here twice so far, but the vet here has been amazing with her.  I have a spaniel who I consider my daughter, she is just the sweetest, most affectionate little thing and is the best family dog. That said, not everyone sees my little girl with the same rose colored glasses I do. She has anxiety issues, she always has. I watch people with her, some get annoyed and impatient. The two times I've come here I've been more than impressed with how gentle and patient they are with my little Sophie. The first time I came here the vet even got down on the floor with her to examine her, so she wouldn't have the stress of being on a table. THAT is good care, when the vet puts the dog's comfort above their own.  We came again last week because it was time for Sophie's teeth to be cleaned. I had been using Harris Hill vet mostly since we moved here a year ago. I was going to have them clean Sophie's teeth but then I was told I would have to schedule an appointment just to get a price quote from Harris Hill. "Wait. I need to pay money just to get a price quote so I can pay more money?". I've never had a vet tell me that before. I asked for a round about price quote to find what range their teeth cleanings typically cost, to see if it was even worth paying for the price quote appointment. It was high. I've been getting my dog's teeth cleanings for years, mostly in the Seattle area where everything always cost more. Harris Hill was more than Seattle's high costs! Anyhow, I'm glad I called True Care before I had the Harris Hill appointment, they were able to give me a general price quote over the phone very easily. And their price was much more in line with what I think a canine tooth cleaning should cost. So Sophie came here for that.  Sophie got her teeth cleaned and it was easy-breezy beautiful. No surprises, they got the job done and the final cost was actually a bit less than the original estimate.  She got good care and it was affordable. Where they really sold me though and the reason I plan to come here in the future for all of our vet needs is they have an after hours cell phone number for their clients until 11pm. That means if Sophie came home and around 9pm she was acting funny, I could have called and they would have walked me through it. THAT is a HUGE deal! I also saw something in their office that caught my eye, and that was that they will sometimes do home visits. I presume that means when your animal has met their final days and you'd rather have them done at home than bring them in to the office. I saw that and I was like, "DING DING DING!".  Sophie isn't going anywhere for years to come, but when her time does come I would much rather have a vet that knows her come to our house to do it. I could be wrong and they don't do that as a home service, but I hope they do.  This place reminds me of our old vet's office in WA we really liked. They just seem honest and like they really care about the well being of animals.  They have an office cat, I didn't catch their name. I like when places have an office cat to greet people. My Sophie loves cats but it will be interesting when I bring my other dog here. He's a little napoleon type dog who hates cats. I'll keep him on a short leash and I'm sure the cat is smart enough to avoid yippy little dogs who like to bark a lot.If you are looking for an honest vet who keeps their priced affordable, this is the place for you. I must say that these doctors take their jobs to the next level. You can actually tell they love their jobs and the animals they treat. Both doctors came in on Christmas Eve to see my kitty. Wow, that never happens. The care they give to your pet is beyond what anyone could ask for! Read Less

Dr. Ross has been treating my dogs for the last 10 years and he has been absolutely wonderful. I always feel like my dogs are in his best interest, not his wallet. Other places have pushed unnecessary testing, treatment, etc. on me and that was never the case with Dr. Ross. If you want your pets pampered and to go somewhere you trust, you have found your place! Absolutely NO need for that as Dr. Ross and Dr. Hill are exceptional! They truly have a passion for animals and not only are they amazing with the animals, but the owners as well :-) This practice is the best, hands down! Also...as if I needed to gloat more about how fantastic they are, but if you or your spouse are in the military, or a volunteer EMT or firefighter-they give you a 10% discount! They will be our go to veterinary clinic until we have our very last dog :-) Read Less

Dr's Ross & Hill are wonderful! I was skeptical when the practice was sold to people I didn't know anything about, but my fears were immediately erased when Dr. Ross came in and sat right on the floor and started talking to my kitty :) Dr. Hill was wonderful in helping us help a stray, young, nursing mother cat. Went to get 3 shots for my lab that should be around 60 dollars total for all three. They ran tests showing my dog was fine, nothing wrong and charged me an extra 185 dollars for them. 47 dollars for a physical exam, 21 dollars to clean his ears, 87dollars for a blood test to check for heart worm that he is on medication for, medical waste disposal fee ect ect.Read Less

My 3 month old chihuahua died 5 hours after my second visit here. They said they needed to run tests for hundreds of dollars. Turns out my pup had hypoglycema (low blood sugar), which is easy to detect, although I did not know. Now I've spent over 500 dollars for a deciesed pup. Read Less
