They do great work in conjunction with Cornell University's Vet School students and staff. Dogs and cats of all ages, whether domesticated or feral are spayed and neutered. Minor wound treatment is also provided. The cats and dogs are contained in pet carriers and are transported to and from community supported drop off/pick up locations in a multi county wide range to CNYSN. Volunteer drivers use their own personal vehicles. It's a nonprofit organization and donations are welcome to sustain the cramped facility. Adopt an animal and rescue yourself. Read Less

Repeated calls with no callback. One time we got through just took my urgent message & never called back. Several weeks calling almost every day. Now their mailbox is full and cats are now old enough for the girl to be pregnant. I thought this was what the program was to prevent? At least could tell me if they weren't going to do it. PS Great experiences in the past. Don't know what's up. Read Less

Thank God for CNYSNAP! There are so many abandoned stray & feral cats in our area (in the country and world in general!). These cats reproduce to the point where the females die from giving birth over & over. These cats and kittens suffer from the most awful diseases and deaths. There is no reason for any animal to have to go through what these unwanted & unloved cats are going through. All it takes is spaying and neutering them to rectify this heinous situation (to some degree at least, the abandoned ones will still suffer, but at least they won't be bringing more kittens into the mess.).these kittens have slim chances of survival. Between the illnesses, parasites, weather conditions, lack of nourishment, cars, male cats and other animals that will eat them, sick mothers who can't nurse them properly etc etc (the list goes on and on) these kittens are born destined to suffer from day one. This is completely preventable. This program is a godsend to both people and the cats. Thank you CNYSNAP for saving animals from suffering unnecessarily!Read Less
