I took my fourteen-year-old Shih Tzu here when he was having trouble breathing and we were in town on vacation. I saw the retired doctor, so I think it's Dr. Carlson. They staff was wonderful and attentive. It turned out that my little old man had congestive heart failure, so the doctor gave me so medicine to relieve the congestion but was clear that he needed much more extensive testing to figure out what meds to put him on and that it wasn't a good situation. We went home early from our vacation in order to get him to our vet the next morning, and my baby made it through the seven hour road trip. And we even got a very lovely call from the vet's office asking how he was doing. Within a half hour of being home, he passed over. He was so ready, but I sure wasn't. I am so happy with the service Dunkirk provided, as everyone from the doctor to Miranda to Michele was so kind, and the price was very reasonable. I will for sure take my animals there in the future when I am in town. Thank you!

I've been to 3 other vets to get help with my dog who is having issues with keeping weight on and thriving. They were able to help. They're very patient and knowledgeable.

Boarded my dog and when I picked him up he was very fearful and was not acting himself. I took him there for an appointment against my better judgement and they manhandled him right in front of me and then put a muzzle on him when he responded negatively to their poor treatment. Very unprofessional.

Butter Rum Frappuccino gives Dr. Frost two paws up (and our other dogs are in agreement). She will always be his favorite vet. She truly cares about the animals she treats and has always been very personable with us. She even had a great sense of humor when she had to come in on her Sunday off when we thought we had an emergency. This happened more than once and each time it turned out to be something small but she never made us feel bad about having her come in. She is a true gem!

Dr Carlson & the nursing staff have always taken the very best of care of us and we just love them . And when pookie ventures outside and comes back hurt Dr Carlson always gets him right in and patches him up as good as new ! There is no one eltse I would trust to take care of them .They are the Very Best !

I took my fourteen-year-old Shih Tzu here when he was having trouble breathing and we were in town on vacation. I saw the retired doctor, so I think it's Dr. Carlson. They staff was wonderful and attentive. It turned out that my little old man had congestive heart failure, so the doctor gave me so medicine to relieve the congestion but was clear that he needed much more extensive testing to figure out what meds to put him on and that it wasn't a good situation. We went home early from our vacation in order to get him to our vet the next morning, and my baby made it through the seven hour road trip. And we even got a very lovely call from the vet's office asking how he was doing. Within a half hour of being home, he passed over. He was so ready, but I sure wasn't. I am so happy with the service Dunkirk provided, as everyone from the doctor to Miranda to Michele was so kind, and the price was very reasonable.
