I have been bringing my hedgehog here since she is was a newborn-- and luckily, a hedgehog is a creature who doesn't have to go to the vet regularly, only when something is wrong. My hedgie was peeing blood, so I called this morning at 8:00 AM and she was squeezed in for 9:20. Not only were we taken back 10 minutes early (which is appreciated when I'm rushing to work after!), but she also received a complimentary nail trim and they had her medicine in the office so I did not have to run to a compounding pharmacy! The vet was very friendly and knowledgeable, and easily gains your trust. Cannot recommend enough :) EDIT: I forgot to comment on the price. The bill was at least half of what I was expecting to pay! We switched vets and started coming here because it was cheaper and we continued coming here because we really like it. They are very friendly and the way it’s set up is easier for your pets. I brought my hedgehog in a couple weeks ago and the visit felt rushed. The first time I brought her in (a year or so ago) the vet actually handled her, but this time the vet barely looked at her. On top of that, when the vet tech came in to put on a dose of Revolution, my hedgehog was popping and huffing like crazy. Instead of giving her a second to calm down, she just kept at it. She was so scared she peed on me. For a vet hospital that deals with exotic animals I was really expecting more. Our lop rabbit had a seizure. Many vets do not handle rabbits, only dogs and cats. They do and were able to see him the day I called. They took good care of him. They gave me a list of treatments and discussed options. The list included pricing so I knew up front what costs would be. Were very practical and understanding. We left with the meds we needed. Two weeks ago, I came to All Creatures Animal Hospital prepared to say goodbye to my rat after other vets said my only option was to put her down. They offered to do the surgery, noting their extensive experience with cancer and tumor removals on rats. We have been coming to all creatures for years with our animals, they have always taken such amazing care of our pets. They even took the time to call us to check up on one of our cats to see if he improved and if his medicine was working. Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our cat Cuddy and they answered all of our questions about her cancer and made sure to make her extra comfortable with sedatives before anything. The staff really had us at ease seeing how well she was taken care of, everyone there is always so kind and caring, i dont like going anywhere else. Al Creatures Animal Hospital used to be everything I could ask for. Friendly staff, knowledgeable and always looking for the best interest of your pet. I have boarded my bird with them twice now, and what a world of difference. The first time was a great experience, they let me know how she did, her cage was clean, she was a happy bird. After this last visit I can't say one thing similar. I felt rushed to leave with my bird, they brought her to the lobby with a dirty cage, the water was filled with food, they failed to use the dishes provided and piled the seed all over the vegetables I provided. I was expected to dump the dishes myself before leaving and was in such shock at the condition of her cage. Not one of the cage liners I left were used, the food bowls were so overfilled she could have eaten for a week, and I am not much sure that she wasn't just sitting in a corner with no light all weekend. I felt so bad for my little bird and wish this stay had never happened. I paid for a service that was not provided. Taking care of a bird is simple, clean the dishes, replace the cage liner, and give them fresh water. I didn't expect much but what I got was way less than satisfactory. Read Less

The staff and Doctor Zagst were so loving and patient with my injured bunny, they were also very caring and knowledgeable about his condition and the care and treatment that he needed. I will definitely be a returning client/pet owner for all the pets in our family. Dr Albert saved our dog's life. She was found by the city pound and taken in by Black Dog Second Chance in 2012. She was an older dog, and a few questioned surgery because of her age but Dr Albert told me she was perfect for someone. She is our family. When found they named her Gracie. Shes our Misty Blue. Dr. Albert and crew are absolutely wonderful. You are greeted with a pleasant smile as soon as you walk in. The wait time is rather short compared to other offices. Dr. Albert has a vested interest in each and every patient and realizes how much a part of your family your pet is. Since I have performance dogs, he addresses their specific needs extremely well. they may be a tad more pricey, BUT you get what you pay for. Dr. Albert at All Creatures is by far the best Vet. I have ever trusted my pets with. I have had dogs and cats for over 20 years. I've seen many Vet.s in many cities. Dr. Albert has knowledge of animals big and small. When you meet him it is obvious that he truely loves all anmals. He also shows compassion to their owners. Dr. Zagst and everyone at All Creatures saved the life of my kitten when I brought him. When we found in a very bad position and almost didn't make it. They were extremely kind to me and made sure to give me all the tools to care for him when he was brought home. Dr. Zagst took all of my calls and answered my questions even when I called multiple times a day, taking time to answer questions just to calm my nerves. They have an amazing team of techs that worked with me to make sure that I was comfortable when it was time to take the kitten home. I am so grateful that they could get him in last minute when it looked like he wouldn't make it they did everything they could to save him. I'm with Educate a Bull rescue group and have been coming here for about 2 months with my foster puppy, Little Bit. Little Bit was underweight and had a broken leg. The staff and the doctor have been the most welcoming and nicest people. I've never had to wait long to be seen and they have always been thorough with every visit. If this rating could be ZERO starts, that's what i would have selected. I brought my young Tegu (Gaia) into this office two days ago because she was acting lethargic and just not herself... The vet told me she was just dehydrated. Then she did x-rays and told us her bones were very soft and that we just had to up her calcium intake, but other than that, she was fine...Yesterday i came home, to find my tegu barely breathing, flipped upside down, and almost seizing. I called the vet immediatley because i knew something was wrong and the receptionist tells me "The doctor reviewed your file and there is nothing wrong with your tegu" I re explained that she was literally dying in my hands.. & i get told "there is nothing we can do for you were closing in 15 minutes" & that there is nothing wrong with my lizard. Well she died this morning. Not only did you misdiagnose my animal but you refused to talk to me or help me comfort her when i flat out told you she was dying. This Animal hospital obviously doesn't care about the well being of the animals that are being seen in there office. They only care about the money that gets brought in from bringing them there. Thank you All creatures animal hospital for misdiagnosing my animal and letting her literally die right in front of me. I will never bring another animal of mine to this place EVER again.Read Less

The vets were always very gracious with me and gentle and patient with my cats. One of my cats is a hisser in new situations and the other cat is a hider in new situations, but the vet technicians and the vets all dealt very capably with my cats' unique needs. I like the wellness program because it makes a reasonable number of wellness exams per year and provides other services that your pet needs. The office staff gave me reminders for my appointments so I never forgot about an appointment. Read Less

We had to say goodbye to our beloved Ginger, my best friend for 11 years, our family member and our heart - not because she was old or Ill in any way. And not gently or peacefully like I had planned when the time came. She went into ALL CREATURES ANIMAL HOSPITAL on transit rd for a tooth extraction - she was in excellent health. They told us she did great & we could pick her up. When we went to pick her up we pointed out how distended her stomach was- they informed us it was just gas from her anxiety/she must have taken in too much air and not to worry. They gave her a gas pill. Within an hour her stomach had ruptured & she was dying in my arms as we rushed her back to the vet where Dr. Sarah Anger told us there was little they could do for her claiming they had never seen this before and didn€t know what it was. Yet when we transferred her to Orchard Park Emergency Vet, they knew immediately the cause and the prognosis. This did not need to happen. She never should have been sent home in that condition to begin with- I now know that GDV caused by bloat is the 2nd most common killer of dogs next to cancer. How a trained vet didn't know or recognize this is inexcusable to us. she clearly was not monitored or checked on after surgery and suffered unbelievably because of their negligence & incompetence. She could not have done "great" if she was in such anxiety that it caused her to pant to the point of her stomach rupturing. We trusted them to be honest and give our girl the best possible care & could not feel more guilty for bringing her here. If anyone uses or know someone who uses this vet, please switch immediately! She was a blessing and a gift and we are grateful for the years we had with her. She was by my side through the very worst and very best times of my life and not a day will go by that I don€t miss everything about her. Her gentleness, her stubbornness, her mischief. She was loved beyond words. Nothing will bring her back or make the pain & emptiness in our home disappear but we hope our experience can prevent anyone or their pets from having to go through this Read Less

So Grateful I found this place!! I adopted a Yorkie and was given a gift certificate from Friends of Animals for her spaying cost. I selected All Creatures as one of the hospitals that would perform the procedure and honor the certificate. I was so impressed with the cleanliness and atmosphere! I wouldn't consider taking my baby anywhere else now. I have always taken my dogs to a vet near my house for years out of convenience. I can not believe the difference. The receptionists at All Creatures are so nice and helpful. You actually get a live person when you call the office! Dr. Albert has to be one of the most caring Vets with the best bedside manor ever. My 11 year old Cairn Terrier now needs a lump removed and although he has been seen by another vet since he was a puppy, I wouldn't trust him with anyone else now but Dr. Albert. Dr. Adamcak is one of the best avian vets in our area. She is thorough, patient, gentle and tuned in to birds and their needs. She even takes the time to call and check on how your bird is doing after an appointment. Visits to veterinarians are really stressful for parrots, but going to All Creatures Animal Hospital makes it much easier for them. The staff is always friendly and eager to help. The technicians are really great with the birds,too, and are well trained in holding them securely and safely. I can't recommend this place enough! Read Less
