I've been coming here for years!! The Doc and his staff are great!! He knows us by name. We recently brought in our cat, who had an upper respiratory infection. Now, I love my cat, but she's not the friendliest of felines. I warned the vet tech and the Doc about her, would you believe that she was on her best behavior there??? They even took blood from her!! And gave her two pills!!! They were petting her and she was purring like she had known them for years. That's how comfortable she felt there, I almost fell over!!! They know how to treat animals, and their parents with compassion and dignity. Like I said, I've been coming here for years and I plan on continuing to come here. There's no place better!!! was referred here by a friend. I was dissatisfied with the care I was getting with our previous vet. Our dog has anxiety and simple vet visits are a big problem. The staff here are very patient and always get through each visit without refusing treatments or sedating our dog. I'm a customer for life. Read Less

My first visit to this Animal hospital was a difficult one. I had to have my long time companion cat put to sleep. The doctor and his staff were so professional and understanding. I cannot say enough good things about them. And to add to the outstanding experience they sent me the most beautiful sympathy card and paw print of my beloved friend. I will be so ever grateful. We moved to the area and needed to find a new vet. Thank goodness we found Transit Valley Animal Hospital. They are wonderful. The doctor was kind and gentle and made sure we didn't buy anything that we didn't need as far as meds and the office staff (especially Sheila) is just amazing. I would so highly recommend them!!! I'm giving 4 stars only because the price here are significantly higher then other vet offices I have been to. I come here because Dr. Jennifer Sutton is a very good doctor, kind, patient and shows compassion. Dr. Louis Budik is pretty much the opposite of Dr. Sutton's personality, he doesn't take his time with me to talk about my pets issues and is just very short and to the point and wants to just tell you like it is and that's that. I would not say he is a bad doctor at all, he seems to be very experienced in his field but I'm not comfortable with how he comes off, it's very border line rude and a kind of a "know it all" attitude. This vet hospital came recommended and ended up being the worst experience we could have had, which has resulted in filing a professional misconduct complaint with the state veterinary board.  We were looking for a vet closer to work and home. We had an office visit which went well and decided to schedule a dental cleaning. We were advised by dr. Bucking that February was dental awareness month and we could get 10 percent off . We scheduled . I dropped our dog off in the morning and a few hours later received a call to come get her she was barking in the cage and they did not have the staff to stay in there with her to quiet her . My daughter and her stepdad ( also owner of the dog) went to get her . They put them in a room to tell them they extracted 13 teeth without a call or consent to do so!,  dr. Wolf was rude and abrupt . We were dismissed' I had to fight with them to get records and the consent I did sign for the cleaning. That consent has mysteriously disappeared. I later found a coworker that this also happened to and she also left the practice. Dr Budik also informed me about another client the same day that  he also had to let know that he extracted teeth . They wanted him to dig their dogs teeth out of the garbage for them to take and have looked at!  Dental cleaning month I appears to generate a lot of revenue there . Just be cautious!!! Read Less
