Dr. Patterson truly is so thoughtful about the care of every animal that she places her hands on. My Mother & I have been bringing our own & several fosters (4 dogs & at least 20 cats) to Sheep Meadow for about 15 years. The kindness and patience she expresses with each & every case is rare. She once diagnosed something in moments that 3 previous vets couldn't figure out after several visits. She is a gifted compassionate veterinarian & I am truly grateful to know her. Dr Patterson and her office staff are empathetic and understanding. She was amazing when we put our dog down yesterday and had been equally as impressive at all of our previous visits. Dr Patterson is Amazing! My dogs have had such bad experiences at other vets, and despite their anxieties they always feel so comfortable at Sheep Meadow. As do I! Dr Patterson and her staff take the time to listen to your concerns, get you in as quickly as possible when there's an issue, and give you every option so you can make an informed decision. Visits and treatments are affordable, and they don't try and push unnecessary testing or treatments like many other offices do. They helped us through the end of life care and decisions for our beloved Fritz, and were amazing from beginning to end. It made such a hard time that much easier. Since she is the only vet there, it can be very busy, and sometimes there's a wait, but it's well worth the wait for a Doctor who gives such great care to your fur babies. I just hope Dr Patterson stays there forever, so we never have to find another veterinary clinic! Read Less

We had a long wait, which at first you would think was bad but there were two peole that came out that were clearly emergency visits. Also we heard the receptionist reassure someone over the phone and offer to get them in that day. It was a good first impression because it seems they truely care for their clients and their pets. Wonderful Vet!!! I had an emergency with our cat and I called ALL of the other local vets and every one of them told me they couldn't see my cat for at least a few hours because they were busy (the kitty was having a hard time breathing and had an awful fever). One of the vets I called told me about this place which I had never heard about and I called and they took the kitty in before our regular vet even faxed over the medical records (which people almost NEVER do).
