You can tell the vets here love animals and will go to great lengths to do right by you and your pet. I have been to many vets - and this is the first vet who's top priority is your pet, not your pocketbook. Would rate it 6 stars if I could. Only downside now - it can be tough to get an appointment. 2014: Came to Adoring Pets when I first moved here. My cat became very ill & Dr. Adorno was very sweet, knowledgeable & sympathetic. She had to be euthanized, but the staff was very sweet & I knew she was in good hands. I now have Adoring Pets as my vet for my pets & would never go anywhere else. Absolute best and kindest Vet. Compassionate and caring, a good staff as well. Dr Adorno has saved several of my cats over the years, and the compassion when I lost my sweet Lilly was phenomenal. Plus if the wait time is long, there are TVs to watch in the waiting room. Read Less

I love Dr Adorno and any of his staff I've ever had to deal with, more importantly... I trust them with my beloved four (or 3) legged family members! Enough to drive over an hour to still take them all to him after we moved away and I tried the 4 vets in my own area. Maybe I caught them on a bad day... I'm a local firefighter and veteran. I have gone here before as I live down the street. I went in last week to find the receptionist more than extremely curt and very uncompassionate. I wasn't looking to take much of there time, just wanted to make an appointment and ask some pretty care questions. They seemed they couldn't write me off fast enough. I've never given any reason for the type treatment I received. I take great care of my pets. Not sure if the receptionist is new or not but I'd feel more comfortable with down to earth staff, or atleast feeling like a welcome member of the community. Read Less

I took my cat there for the first time had never been to this vet before he was great was honest and upfront with me spent some serious time with me and my cat and mad me feel as if he really cared about him. Most other vets that I have been too don't really take the time with you to talk and listen and ask questions and get to the bottom of the issue. This did happen to be an emergency visit since my cat gizmo was not eating and sleeping a lot more my normal vet did not have any openings and told me to see him instead well I won't be going back to them. My baby has a bacterial infection he got anti bitoics dr Adorno asked me if I had ever given pills before and I said no and he said well then we can do the liquid it's the same price. He told me the cost of the visit before I came and he asked if I was able to afford the blood work that needed to be run before he did it I am really impressed and verry happy with him. I will be taking my other cat to him as well as taking gizmo back. They even said to call them Monday to tell them how he is doing. I have never felt like a pet parent at any other vet I have always felt like a dollar sign to the other vets but to dr Adorno I felt like a person and that my cat was my child and I was a conserdond mom! If I could give 10 stars I would but they only give me 5 but you will definitely have me coming back for life! Read Less

My sister recommended Dr. Adorno a few years ago, when I was growing tired of spending boatloads of money at a different southtowns animal hospital, and always walking out unsatisfied by either the treatment or the doctor. I don't have enough time or space to tell you how wonderful Dr. Adorno is. I have been with him since he started and I would never consider going anywhere else. We moved from Hamburg and are still going to him even with a extra 20 minute drive. My dash once got hit by a truck and the dr met me at his place we did x-rays and he stayed all night with Dash and called to give me updates. That was not the first time he stayed with one of my dogs all night. We love and can't say enough about him. And I am not getting paid for this lol. When we go to his office it is a joy. Read Less

I wish there were more stars to give Adoring Pets, their staff and Dr. Diaz and Dr. Adorno. The most caring, honest , educated and helpful veterinarians I know. They have been there for us and our husky puppy " Solar " since day one ! My husband and I are so grateful to them and look forward for them to see our beautiful husky grow into an obedient young lady ! Because of them we got through the exciting & challenging times of being first time husky owners !!! I highly recommend these two doctors and this wonderful place !! My girlfriend and I used to live on sunset drive down the road from here, we now live elsewhere but let me note that we drive 25 mins. to get to this place in spite of the fact there are loads of other places closers to go to. We do it because it's that worth it, honestly. Vets like Dr. Adorno are very hard to find. He makes it very easy on you AND your animal to go to the vet. Just a great man that truly cares.
