We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I love the staff as well as Dr. Bugenhagen. I've had pets all my life and this is the most attentive vet I've seen. She's saved our cat, we found him unresponsive, turned out he had bad crystals and was very close to death. Even the vet didn't think he'd make it.. 5 days later we brought him home good as new! Our dog lost the use of her back legs due to a pinched nerve (?) and the same, came home good as new! Others I know who had the same experiences and went to another vet paid TWICE the amount we did. When I have a problem with any of my pets, I call and they get me in right away. My dogs love going there, first vet I've had where my pets weren't scared to visit. I can't say enough about how friendly and caring they are, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

The staff is incredibly friendly and caring and they treat you and your fur babies like family. I would definitely recommend them to all of my family and friends. Dr. Bugenhagen is phenomenal.

The vets/staff there treats your pets like friends rather than a patient which is amazing. They remember their names and their favorite spot, I don't really look at the prices because they don't bomba...
The vets/staff there treats your pets like friends rather than a patient which is amazing. They remember their names and their favorite spot, I don't really look at the prices because they don't bombard with things and phony medications and give your pet exactly what they need. If they can make my dog healthy and happpy that's all I care about.

The only reason I am giving one star is because the vet techs are so sweet to the animals. Other than that this place is run down, dirty, cramped, and way behind the times. The doctor was not very friendly. Didn't even introduce herself and referred to my pet as "the dog" , not once did she pet or speak to him. This place is very overpriced. My regular vet is amazing in every way and charges less. I wanted to get my dog in somewhere quick, This was a last minute appointment. We will never go back and I hope none of you do either.

I highly recommend Hamburg Veterinary Clinic for veterinary care. My pets have been seen by Dr. Bugenhagen and her staff for years. I most recently had a total of five pets -two elderly/sick cats who both died within the last year and three dogs- all of which have had varied ongoing medical needs and require more frequent veterinary care, as well as special diets and medications. Whether it is a phone call, vet visit, or running in to pick up foods and meds, each and every person in this practice is extremely knowledgeable and professional; but most importantly, they are kind and compassionate and truly love animals. I trust Dr. Bugenhagen and her staff to provide the highest quality care I expect and deserve for my fur babies and I am never disappointed, you won't be either and your pets will love them!

After a terrible experience with a previous vet I came to this practice and couldnt have had a more opposite experience. My cat was older and had several things going on, but instead of trying to charge me for everything they could think of, Dr. Bugenhagen and her staff took care of him the best they could without stressing him out or breaking my bank. Their prices are extremely reasonable. They have the equipment, testing and expertise youll find elsewhere, but youre not paying for fancy remodeling, marketing, etc. that drives up costs at some veterinarians. While other vets prices are skyrocketing this places makes it still affordable to have pets. I give it 5 paws up.

Once again, Dr. B and her staff took such great care of our loved Sadie girl <3. Sadie is resting comfortably after Dr. B removed her nasty big cyst. I have alot of friends in the English Mastiff community out of town, and they all wish they had a Dr. B in their town. Thanks again for caring for and most of all LOVING our girl!!

We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I love the staff as well as Dr. Bugenhagen. I've had pets all my life and this is the most attentive vet I've seen. She's saved our cat, we found him unresponsive, turned out he had bad crystals and was very close to death. Even the vet didn't think he'd make it.. 5 days later we brought him home good as new! The only reason I am giving one star is because the vet techs are so sweet to the animals. Other than that this place is run down, dirty, cramped, and way behind the times. The doctor was not very friendly. Didn't even introduce herself and referred to my pet as "the dog" , not once did she pet or speak to him. This place is very overpriced. My regular vet is amazing in every way and charges less. I wanted to get my dog in somewhere quick, This was a last minute appointment. We will never go back and I hope none of you do either.

After a terrible experience with a previous vet I came to this practice and couldnt have had a more opposite experience. My cat was older and had several things going on, but instead of trying to charge me for everything they could think of, Dr. Bugenhagen and her staff took care of him the best they could without stressing him out or breaking my bank. Their prices are extremely reasonable.
