Like many pet parents, my dogs mean everything to me. That being said, I could never imagine bringing either one of them back to this animal hospital after the very last of numerous not so pleasant experiences had here. Just to name a few off of the top of my head:1. Rushed my Rottweiler here because he banged his tail against the side of our fence and it started swelling up pretty bad. They took him in and were super rough with him. He was a little hesitant (hates the vet, like every dog) so rather than try and calm him down, they practically drag him into the back to x-ray his tail. They were back there with him for over a half of an hour, brought him back up to us and told us that they were not able to get the x-ray because he was wagging his tail too much. The ended up giving him a shot of cortisone to bring down the swelling, but the doctor who administered the shot (older gentleman), barely spoke to us and acted annoyed every time we asked him a question. 2. They tried charging us for $30 for a "Cone of shame" that was never given to us.3. They were extremely rude and dismissive when we inquired about getting our dogs medications from 1-800 Pet Meds.4. The receptionist gave my fiance' an attitude one day when he went in to pick up some medication. When he called her out on it, she apologized and said that she was just having a bad day, as if that's a valid reason for being rude to a customer. And last, but certainly not least...5. We brought my Rottweiler in again because he had a growth on his boy parts that had ruptured. They told us that they would have to remove the growth and send it to the lab to see if it was cancerous. They told us that he would have to be put under anesthesia and had us sign papers stating that if anything went wrong, they would not be held accountable. With no other choice, we signed everything and he was taken into surgery. It took a couple of hours, but we finally received a phone call saying that they were waking him up and to start heading back, he should be ready to leave by the time we got there. When we got there, however, they told us that he wasn't waking up properly and couldn't stand. After about an hour, they brought him out to us. He was a little wobbly, but they assured us that he would make a full recovery after a few days of rest. So for the next few days, that's all we had him do. We had both taken off from work and spent 3 full days looking after him. Well, by the end of the week, we noticed that he wasn't the same. He would walk into walls, lose his balance and fall over, he wouldn't play anymore, he couldn't lay on his back anymore, and he would jump every time we would pet him. We were concerned since all of the anesthesia should have left his body by now and his surgery site was almost fully healed. we ended up taking him to another vet at the recommendation of some friends of ours. We told her what had happened and what he was currently experiencing. She told us that he was unfortunately given way too much anesthesia for his body weight, and that the long-term effects were most likely permanent. We were devastated. My dog will never be the same, all because they were careless. Please go elsewhere. Read Less
