I am new to the Columbia County area and I was referred to the Animal Care Clinic by a trusted friend. I called to set up an appointment for my ailing aged cat and was very please to be able to make an appointment for the very next day even though she was not an established patient! We arrived for our appointment and were welcomed so warmly! I found the office to be clean and cozy! I was very pleased to see  the questions on the intake paper work addressing your feelings towards your pet and how you would like to meet your pets medical needs. The vet that treated my old girl, Dr. Roth, was friendly and gentle. He assessed my cat thoroughly. He took his time and carefully explained the different treatment options. He went over the pros, cons and costs without judgement. I feel he helped my make informed decisions regarding her treatment. As we left, I was very pleased with the cost of the visit. We were given a "Welcome" packet for new patients that was very professional and informative. I was really pleased that the reception staff pointed out the emergency vet referral information that included travel directions. So helpful for someone new to the area! Read Less

Do NOT take your dog to this Vet.  He will terrify your dog.  He approaches dogs from a place of fear.  He does not know how to greet or handle animals and is ignorant as to basics canine body language.  We have been to many vets with many dogs and never had such a negative experience.  This is an elderly guy with a completely out of date attitude.  If you have a well socialized dog with a friendly personality and no issues, he will make your dog aggressive, scared and scarred for life.  Avoid this nutcase at all costs.  ZERO STARS !!! Great place my1st time there Saturday with my Sadie girl...very nice people and I didn't feel rushed out the door like my other vet I went to with my other dog..I will deff be bring my other babies here as well Read Less

All the staff consider pets to be family... My current kid "Luke" has been going to the Animal Care Clinic since he was a puppy. Luke is now 8 years old... Being a lab he has chronic allergies.
