Honestly, the best vet I’ve even been to. My precious pup is always taken care of in the most caring of ways. I always feel like I’ve learned something more than the internet can provide when I speak to the staff, and the cost is validated by their sincere love and concern for my dog. I have never once had a bad experience at Lafayette Veterinary Clinic. Both Dr. Rehder and Dr. McMahon are excellent and the staff is amazing. Everyone cares deeply about your pet's health and I have even gotten personal follow up calls from the vets. The staff is so fantastic that my pets know them by name and LOVE going to see everyone at the office. Dr. McMahon has gotten on the floor many times to roll around with my 13 year old lab. The whole place is a caring and wonderful place to take your animals. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for stellar care for their animals. Took Tootsie Roll in for her last visit, clean bill of health papers, Rx refills, extra treats and supplements for the road as we move south. I didn't think I would end up so emotional about leaving this team EXTRAORDINAIRE. I was so fortunate to find them after some not very good experience elsewhere. They took care of all three of my wieners. I can't say enough about their warmth, competence, service, attention to detail. If you are looking for the best veterinary care this side of the Rockies I suggest you check LaFayette Vet Clinic out. Dr. Rehder and Dr MacMackin are top notch and I will miss them like family. I have been going to LaFayette Veterinary Clinic for around 20 years. They are the best! When I moved an hour away 10 years ago I tried the local clinic near where I lived and I was not happy. I now drive over an hour to take my pets to LaFayette. I will never go anywhere else! Read Less

We have lived in the area just over a year and visited the office today with my dog Sadie. Everyone was extremely friendly and my dog who is normally very nervous was put at ease by Dr. Rehder and her assistant (wish I would have gotten her name she was a sweetheart). I have finally found a true animal lover in Dr. Tom! We took our Amstaff to a different Vet for 2 years, and got nowhere very fast, and very expensively. One afternoon I calked this office and talked a poor girls ear off! I tried explaining that my dog was allergy ridden, but just could NOT find a vet that would listen to our concerns. I als explained we had very little money, but that our Zeus meant the world to us. She convinced me to give Dr. Tom a try and we've never looked back!!
