I accidently ran across the yelp reviews this morning. I switched to this practice early this year and have had three problems with my pets so far. One pancreatic attack, one UTI, and a cat with an infected tooth. I have met all the doctors and each one is a good as the other. They took me very quickly and were spot on with diagnosis and treatment plan. Follow up is wonderful and I don't see where the prices are any higher than others in the area. I would suggest this practice to anyone. I love my pets and they deserve the best care. This is the place to go.

I went for an appointment with a Vet Tech at Alliance Animal Hospital today (6/20). Although they were running slightly behind the appointment itself went very well as is usually the case. When I went to check out the receptionist informed me the bill was approximately $400.00. Upon hearing this amount I was taken aback and asked for a bill as I was unable to pay such a large amount for the vaccines. The receptionist told me that Alliance Animal Hospital does not do billing. The receptionist then explained 2 items on my invoice were from a previous appointment, 1 item was a procedure that was never conducted. At this point I was very frustrated because I was being asked to pay for 1 procedure that happened weeks ago but was never asked to pay for it at the time of the appointment or was not sent a bill notifying me of these charges. When I spoke to the office manager she was rude with me when I insisted that I only pay for the vaccines that occured today since I was informed Alliance Animal Hospital does not do billing. I then asked the office manager if I should make future appointments with Alliance Animal Hospital and she said "well you look angry and red in the face". To be honest this embarrassed me and I feel the office manager was out of line.

Great experience with all 5 of my pets! Intelligent, caring, and thorough staff. Very progressive clinic with a ton of services available. They offer LASER therapy, acupuncture, and they have many in clinic diagnostics. I like that I was able to have heart ultrasounds done here instead of having to go to a specialist.

This hospital isn't practicing proper medicine they allow some of their assistants to place catheters, run blood screening, do dental, monitor patients under anesthesia, and administer inject-able drugs as well as much more. These people are uneducated and not trained or certified to be doing these procedures on people's animals.

Best Vet I have ever been to. Genuinely caring and compassionate. Amazing visit every time. They take their time to know your animal, you, and the situations. They listen and assist with figuring out costs and what needs to be done. They've helped me with putting down one of my sweet babies, which of one of her hardest things I have ever had to do and were patient and caring. Thank you for helping all of our family.

Excellent, thorough veterinary visits over the last year since we first brought in our puppy. Great overall experience and comfort showed for my dog when she was spayed- received calls from both tech and doctor to see how she was doing afterwards. Blood tests (all negative thankfully!) and parasite preventatives were well explained and are priced reasonably. I think they have both the short term and long term health of my dog in mind and take the time to explain what they are doing and why they are doing it. Recommend!

I've never had an issue with any of the vets/practitioners, they all have been very friendly. Some of the women at the front desk however tend to be rude or miserable whenever I am there. Everyone there seems to really care about the animals, but they definitely try to suck more money out of you on procedures, medications, and testing than what is actually necessary. Otherwise, I do like the vets/practitioners, as I said before, they have always been friendly to me & to my dog.

I have had some issues with this VET. Ontop of the insane vet prices(almost makes you wish you had pet insurance), their staff isn't very bright. I took my shepard here to get neutered. I get him back...
I have had some issues with this VET. Ontop of the insane vet prices(almost makes you wish you had pet insurance), their staff isn't very bright. I took my shepard here to get neutered. I get him back later on and I noticed is "thing" was crooked. He was now peeing from the side. I complained and was told it would heal back into the normal position. Yea.. needless to say it didn't. Poor bastard. So I still went here because they were close by. He needed to have 2 shots and his nails n stuff done. The doc comes in looks him over, all was well.. He got 1 shot in the shoulder and another one in the butt. When she was done, she slapped him on the head and he snapped and nipped at her. Both me and my wife seen it. The doc then gave us a stern warning to not bring him back in unless he's been muzzled. I was kinda aggravated at her. I agree, he needs to be muzzled and I do now have one for him. I also agree, I will not be back to this office. Plenty of other offices around that are better than alliance and cheaper... and smarter.. you don't crack a big dog in the head after giving him 2 shots and then tell me about muzzling. come on..

I was able to get my sick dog in for an appointment within two hours. When I arrived early, the front desk pleasantly signed us in, copied the records and got us into a room within a few minutes. The vet tech was WONDERFUL, kind and compassionate. Dr. Gray spent more one on one time with my dog than I've seen in any other animal hospital or clinic. I will certainly recommend Alliance to others.

I wish I could put 0 stars because this place isn't worthy of 1. I have a MILLION bad things to say about this place but don't have enough room to say it all. They don't give a crap about your animal ...
I wish I could put 0 stars because this place isn't worthy of 1. I have a MILLION bad things to say about this place but don't have enough room to say it all. They don't give a crap about your animal they only care about taking your money..and a lot of it! The one Dr. we had to deal with was very snotty and you could never get a word in with her unless you literally cut her off talking. Everyone who works at the front desk seems to absolutely hate their job. The last straw was when the VET hung up on us after talking to her about all the unnecessary testing she had done before getting our dog spayed (which we still haven't) Charged us for every single test and three of them tested the same thing. Oh and none of that $300 in testing went towards her spaying. So that would be another $500+ on top of that. We have moved to a different vet called Georgetown Animal Clinic on Sheridan Dr. and are more than happy with that decision. Our puppy is finally getting what she needs which is to be spayed before she goes into heat! STAY FAR AWAY FROM ALLIANCE ANIMAL HOSPITAL!

Being a first time pet owner, I was nervous about how my newly adopted fur babies would react to going to the vet. Joey and Jill showered them both in love and made me feel as if they truly wanted all the best for my cats. They answered all of my questions and were understanding of all of my concerns.
I could not have asked for a better vet tech and vet to interact with. What I thought would be a stressful situation ended up being easy and personable.
I would recommend Alliance completely and fully.

Went to my personal vet with my pregnant dog because she couldn't deliver her last 2 pups. My vet confirmed she was in distress and needed an emergency CSection. He nor his 2 other vets "have time" to perform CSection so I was forced to frantically look elsewhere. I called 4-5 other vets who wouldn't see us be cuz we weren't already a client. A friend recommend Alliance who when called said come right in! Dr Gray and staff were phenomenal keeping me calm and comforting and caring for My girl from beginning til we were discharged. Dr. Gray explained everything in a manner my 16 yr old granddaughter could understand and offered to let us watch (which we did). I highly recommend ALLIANCE to everyone who loves their pets, especially breeders as Dr. Gray specializes in reproductive vetinary medicine.

I brought my dear pet golden retriever Nelly to this vet after reaching a ripe 14 years of age. She had numerous health problems and unfortunately had to be put down. I can say that the staff at Alliance were very friendly and humane. This helped lessen the pain on what was unavoidably to be a very sad experience.
I am thankful to Dr. Mt Pleasant who was quite compassionate during our visit. The facility was clean, everything about the procedure was explained to me, and all of my questions were answered. I will certainly bring my pets here in the future.

Dr schaad is amazing. His ability to diagnose patients, especially the most difficult issues, is phenominal. Its obvious to me that the majority of the staff, is passionate about animals.

I accidently ran across the yelp reviews this morning. I switched to this practice early this year and have had three problems with my pets so far. One pancreatic attack, one UTI, and a cat with an infected tooth. I have met all the doctors and each one is a good as the other. They took me very quickly and were spot on with diagnosis and treatment plan. Follow up is wonderful and I don't see where the prices are any higher than others in the area. I would suggest this practice to anyone. I love my pets and they deserve the best care. This is the place to go.

This hospital isn't practicing proper medicine they allow some of their assistants to place catheters, run blood screening, do dental, monitor patients under anesthesia, and administer inject-able drugs as well as much more. These people are uneducated and not trained or certified to be doing these procedures on people's animals.

Excellent, thorough veterinary visits over the last year since we first brought in our puppy. Great overall experience and comfort showed for my dog when she was spayed- received calls from both tech and doctor to see how she was doing afterwards. Blood tests (all negative thankfully!) and parasite preventatives were well explained and are priced reasonably. I think they have both the short term and long term health of my dog in mind and take the time to explain what they are doing and why they are doing it. Recommend!

I've never had an issue with any of the vets/practitioners, they all have been very friendly. Some of the women at the front desk however tend to be rude or miserable whenever I am there. Everyone there seems to really care about the animals, but they definitely try to suck more money out of you on procedures, medications, and testing than what is actually necessary. Otherwise, I do like the vets/practitioners, as I said before, they have always been friendly to me & to my dog.

I was able to get my sick dog in for an appointment within two hours. When I arrived early, the front desk pleasantly signed us in, copied the records and got us into a room within a few minutes. The vet tech was WONDERFUL, kind and compassionate. Dr. Gray spent more one on one time with my dog than I've seen in any other animal hospital or clinic. I will certainly recommend Alliance to others.

Being a first time pet owner, I was nervous about how my newly adopted fur babies would react to going to the vet. Joey and Jill showered them both in love and made me feel as if they truly wanted all the best for my cats. They answered all of my questions and were understanding of all of my concerns.
I could not have asked for a better vet tech and vet to interact with. What I thought would be a stressful situation ended up being easy and personable.
I would recommend Alliance completely and fully.
