I have been going to Liverpool Animal Health Center for years with several different animals. I am always impressed with the high level of veterinary care that I receive at Liverpool Animal Health Center. The hospital is a busy, 6-doctor practice, which may is able to bring in a large volume of patients. This seems to be a reason for any wait one may receive( although it is often not as bad as other posts may like you to believe). \n\nThe cost is comparable with a lot of other veterinary clinics in the area. Since there are six veterinarians that work there, it is possible to see a different veterinarian every time you go there, but if you like one, you can simply request them as your primary veterinarian. I have only seen Dr. Clegg( the owner) for many years now. Even though he is my primary veterinarian, the receptionists always ask if I would be willing to see another doctor. So again, if you make an appointment and a receptionist asks if you have a preference, speak up. Just like your own medical care, go to a veterinarian that you trust and feel comfortable with. \n\nThere is no reason to see a different veterinarian every time. It may be nice at first, however until you find a veterinarian at Liverpool Animal Health Center that you truly enjoy. All of the veterinarians, especially Dr. Clegg(owner), Dr. Hutt, and Dr. Lender have all been there for quite a long time. There really isn't a high turn-over rate at Liverpool Animal Health Center.\n\nYes, cost can become high when seeing a veterinarian...especially if you have multiple animals. There are options to pay, including credit care and care credit at Liverpool Animal Health Center. Yes, they read x-rays and ultrasounds( in opposition to a previous comment). They always give you their diagnosis through their interpretations. Still, just like you wouldn't have a family practitioner give you a definitive diagnosis about an x-ray without consult with a board certified radiologist, the same goes for veterinarians. While they do read and evaluate x-rays, and consult with other veterinarians that work there at the same time, they send them to a radiologist to provide the best possible care for your pet. That is the perk of going to an AAHA accredited veterinary clinic.\n\nLiverpool Animal Health Center really is about the best possible care for your pet. I fully endorse any of their veterinarians. While a couple ( out of several) of their receptionists are not spectacular, their veterinarians are...especially the ""big three"" of Clegg, Hutt, and Lender. \n\nI recommend this clinic, and hope that no matter what clinic or veterinarian you choose, you choose one that gives you and your animal great veterinary care. You must be comfortable with this veterinarian and you must be proactive in your pet's medical care. While I chose Liverpool Animal Health Center, I realize that many of you will not. That is not a bad thing, but I hope you choose a veterinarian wisely and take more into account other than cost fo medical care. If anything, I hope this post helps. If your experience is bad, I apologize, but I assure you that I have always been impressed with this place. Read Less
