We had been taking our family dog here since she was a puppy. Then one visit we asked about her weight because she seemed to have put on a lot of weight in her stomach. They told us that it was nothing she was just fat. Not even a month after that visit our dog Sarah got very sick over the weekend. It got so bad we had to rush her the animal hospital. After the vet gave her one look over she told us there was something in her stomach. She took an x-ray and saw that our poor dog had a 20 pound tumor in her stomach and that was not just extra weight. After hours of trying to get her rehigrated to do an emergency surgery to remove the tumor, we were to late. Sarah was in so much pain since the tumor was now so large it was pushing her internal organs against her spin, we had to make the decision to let her go. The vet at the hospital told us that this had been growing in her for years and that one x-ray of her stomach could have helped prevent this. I will be pulling my cats from this vet and never coming back here again. Not only are they inconvenient to go to but they truly over look the simplest things about your pet. Read Less

Not a fan of this office. Although Dr. Fournier is very kind, attentive, knowledgeable and was absolutely fantastic with my dog, as were her assistants/techs, their lack of communication is terrible. My dog has severe separation anxiety. And it reached the point that medication was needed. The vet told me she would order generic meds because the brand name bottle was very expensive. The secretary told me I would receive a call when the meds came in. 2 weeks went by, no call. I decided to give them a call to see what was up. The girl that answered said that she would have to wait for her manager to check on the status of the pills, that her manager wasn’t in yet but would be in shortly and she would have him/her give me a call. I received no call. I waited another week. Same thing. Again, no call back. Over a month later, the office called me and told me that they could not get the generic medication. I waited A MONTH to hear that they couldn’t get me the medication!? However, they offered to have the vet write a script for the pills and I could maybe look for them myself at a local pharmacy. Ok. I agreed. The secretary said she would have her write one up and would give me a call when it was ready. Guess what? No call. That was over a month ago. I never bothered to call them back and ask them what takes a month to write a script. Not worth it. I’m not taking anything away from the vet skills or services, they were fine. But communication is key in a business and at donnor creek, whether it was just with me personally or not, there was a serious lack of that. Read Less

Just had my dog neutered and not pleased with results. It has been two weeks and the area has swollen and got significantly worse. Brought him back in and they said its normal. Have taken him to another vet locally and one in pa since I have family there and both have said this is very abnormal and they did a horrible job. We also have another dog that needed xrays. They wanted to charge us $883 to do them. I showed the other 2 vets the quote breakdown of the procedure since he would have to be sedated and they nearly fell over. They do have a friendly staff there except the older receptionist who has treated us like dirt from day one. it seems they string u along to take ur money and when a problem arises never find the route of it. would not recommend this vet to anyone. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr Fournier. My dog had a yeast infection, and her previous vet told me they could repair her oddly shaped lady parts to fix the problem. Dr Fournier gave her some doggy vagisil and it went away. She said that yes, the proposed surgery would be effective, but was really only necessary if my dog had recurrent yeast infections. She's had 2 in 4 years. I stayed with my prior vet a bit longer though. Next my dog had three "lumps" one that looked like a wart on her leg and two under the skin that were different. Prior vet said they would need to biopsy all three at a cost of 600 dollars. Dr Fournier did a needle aspiration of the one she felt was questionable, in the office for 30 bucks. She looked under microscope and said it was nothing to worry about, and the other two were basically age related benign cysts. Don't get me wrong, I am more than willing to spend money on my dog when she's sick or needs something, but what she doesn't need is unnecessary surgeries and procedures. Dr Fournier will not do that to you. She super nice, very smart and very reasonable. Her staff is also very nice and they always call a day or two after any sick calls to check on your dog.Read Less
