Dr. Lewis and his staff are very knowledgeable and kind. They took my cat, who was hit by a car & broke his back, into their ICU. They called everyday or had me call for updates. They taught me how to take care of him! Dr. Lewis has always known what's best for our pets, they call you back & really care about the animals they take care of. I'd recommend them to everyone! Went, waited an hour and a half after my schedule time to even be seen, was there about another hour after that for them to go through everything. Got shots, de-worming, and de-mited his ears. After atrocious service from the vet himself, I opted to not go back and took my business elsewhere. Turns out the mite infection is not only there still, but worse; AND he has intestinal worms. I've taken a couple of pets here (went with a friend to take her family's dog for a check up, and later took mine and my girlfriend's new kitten because she was coughing a lot). Both experiences went exactly the same. The staff are nice and the building is clean and tidy, but Dr. Lewis couldn't care less about your pet. He seems to know what he's talking about, as one would expect from a veterinarian, but during both of my visits he was very pushy and focused completely on just selling his products to me and getting me out of there without really showing much care for my pet. He's just out to get your money and, from what I can see, has minimal love for animals. I will never be giving him my business again, and I'd advise anyone that reads this to take your business elsewhere unless it's an extreme emergency. Read Less

Dr Lewis is all about the service up sell and does not care about your pet. He is about making money off you and nothing else. Very unprofessional. Took my dog there, gave him a injection for arthritis and withing a day he could not walk at all and I had to put him to sleep. I have not gone back. Read Less

Dr. Lewis has treated our pets for many years, providing everything from routine care, to teaching how to raise abandoned kittens, to dealing with neurotic cats. I am especially grateful for all the help & advice he has given us dealing with elderly pets and those diagnosed with terminal illnesses. He and his staff are tremendously supportive in providing palliative care, and very caring and sympathetic when it comes time to say goodbye. Dr. Lewis not only treats his patients, but takes time to talk to each pet owner about their pets' treatment, health, nutrition, training and any other issues they may have. We had been loyal customers for over 2 years since we got our first puppy,. We boarded our dogs there 2x/year and always purchased whatever they recommended- paid whatever they charged without question, etc....our dogs mean the world to us- they're our kids. One of them became very ill (liver failure) and needed emergency treatment. She was kept overnight. When I picked her up, I paid all but $70 of a bill over $500. I told the receptionist I would sign the credit card slip but to pls hold it til the following day when I could deposit the money, They refused and said they didn't bill....I said Im not asking you to bill- Im giving you a signed credit card slip and asking that u wait one day before putting it through - we had been long time customers and never had a problem in the past. They refused and sent my dog home without any meds which were critical to her recovery,. They said when I paid, I could get the meds!!! They could have given me enough for one day until I could pay but they wouldn't even do that...I told them to have the meds and my dogs records ready and I would be sending someone with the balance of the money to pick them up in the morning- I will never go back there again. My husband witnessed someone coming in with a cat screeching and crying in pain, all bloody and mangled and hanging off the man's arms - the cat had just been hit by a car. The man pleaded with them to help the cat but because he didn't have the means to pay up front, they turned him away!!!!!!!!! This is clearly not a facility that cares about the animals.Read Less
