I would NOT recommend Wrights Corners Animal Hospital. I had been a client of theirs for many years with my Cat & Dog. I have spent $1,000s of dollars to this place. They failed to properly diagnose & treat my dog. Wrights Corners was giving my dog such a high dose of medication, that by the time they referred me out to a specialty Doctor, the specialist took 1 look at her & knew w/ out a doubt that she was over medicated.
My dog now goes regularly to Orchard Park Veterinarian Hospital & she is extremely well cared for. After seeing just about every doctor in Wrights Corners, they finally referred me to the more skilled Animal Hospital in Orchard Park, she would not be with us today, had I not switched doctors, that is a fact.
She gets a blood panel done every 3 mnths at Orchard Park, for monitoring her levels.
I go into Wrights Corners today to purchase a flea pill & I was turned away because Orchard Park sees her regularly now (on referral from Wrights Corners, mind you!) I live in Newfane a couple miles from Wrights Corners Animal Hospital & after years of loyalty to them & the Fortune I've spent there, I'm told that I can not have a flea pill & need to go back to Orchard Park to get one! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!
So customers, BEWARE!!!! It doesn't matter how many Christmas cards they send you or hard earned $ you spend....this is their loyalty back to US!!! I explained to Wrights Corners Animal Care center that because my dog has to be seen every 3 mnths by a specialty Doctor (from Wrights Corners Referral!), Orchard Park gives her all her routine shots/updates.
So folks, excersise your rights in pet health care. Wrights Corners Animal Hospital is over priced & does not care to HELP their clients, of many yrs...even though, they could not diagnose my dog after several tests/money spent.
Very disgusted in Wrights Corners & want to share with anyone looking for a place to take their beloved pet.....they are not as skilled or LOYAL to US!

Decent care, however they try to push all these tests on my healthy dog. Also, I wanted to get a cleaning done to be preventative because she is getting older (her teeth are not bad, the vet did not even recommend this, I brought it up) and then they tried to tell me there may need to be teeth extracted. I will not be going back.

While myself and my new puppy Abby are new customers, thus far the animal center has been one we are happy to call our own. The team appears very friendly, even when working under adverse conditions due to a wind storm which resulted in power loss and this visit, down cable lines. The center had a system in place understanding their clients may need to pay with credit, despite mother nature's lasting impressions. Overall a great experience!

I didn't end up going into this vet so I can only speak to my experience when calling. Another vet office with the wrong office staff. I called and stated "I'm not a patient but my dog is having an issue and I was wondering if she could be seen." The lady on the phone proceeds to ask me to spell out my name and then tells me it's not coming up as a patient. Well no duh. So already off to a great start. When I mentioned it looked infected she said they had an opening tomorrow at 1. Since I was not available at that time I asked if there were other times they had available. The receptionist told me that I should take my dog to an emergency care center without ever answering my question, which is simply annoying. I did not ask her opinion as a middle age person that has no veterinary background and answers phones. I asked what appointment times were open this week!!! but I guess she was too lazy to check and would rather refer me elsewhere? Again this is just the person they have answering the phone- so I don't know how this person is to be giving out veterinary recommendations. At that point I just said thank you and hung up because she seemed clueless. She also asked me pointless questions such as where my previous vet was.

Seems like people give bad reviews about a business when they dont get their way. Having been a client of Wright's Corner Animal Care Center for almost 20 years, I enthusiastically give them a 5 STAR rating. I am always greeted by name and with a smile from the girls behind the front desk as well as the vet techs who may come to the front waiting area. All vets on staff are knowledgeable and are willing to research and come up with a solution to a particularly perplexing medical problem. I have recommended several of my friends to this practice, and they have been equally satisfied mostly because of the way they were treated and the medical expertise. In addition, I find the costs of many of the services and medications to be lower than many of the larger animal hospitals. I will always remember when I had to finally put my beloved Clare to sleep how everyone came up to her when she was in my arms and said good bye. Thank you everyone at Wright's Corner!!!!!!! Keep doing what youre doinggiving us the best care possible for our pets!

They refused to help me out without a patient-client relationship, even if my vet were to call them, and won't establish any new relationships. They obviously don't need any more business at this time, but won't ever get mine. I can confirm the other review about the curt staff

I highly recommend this place. Both times I've taken my cat Ollie there, service has been quick and painless, as well as super friendly. I have a preconceived notion that pet hospitals generally take up a huge chunk of your day and that's just the way it is... no apologies. But Wrights Corner Animal Care Center's staff is so nice and knowledgeable and caring. I made an appointment for 11am on Saturday and was literally done at 11:30. Definitely the place I'll be taking my kitty for as long as I live in Lockport.

I highly recommend this place. Both times I've taken my cat Ollie there, service has been quick and painless, as well as super friendly. I have a preconceived notion that pet hospitals generally take up a huge chunk of your day and that's just the way it is... no apologies. But Wrights Corner Animal Care Center's staff is so nice and knowledgeable and caring. I made an appointment for 11am on Saturday and was literally done at 11:30. Definitely the place I'll be taking my kitty for as long as I live in Lockport.

Decent care, however they try to push all these tests on my healthy dog. Also, I wanted to get a cleaning done to be preventative because she is getting older (her teeth are not bad, the vet did not even recommend this, I brought it up) and then they tried to tell me there may need to be teeth extracted. Having been a client of Wright's Corner Animal Care Center for almost 20 years, I enthusiastically give them a 5 STAR rating. I highly recommend this place. Both times I've taken my cat Ollie there, service has been quick and painless, as well as super friendly. I have a preconceived notion that pet hospitals generally take up a huge chunk of your day and that's just the way it is... no apologies. But Wrights Corner Animal Care Center's staff is so nice and knowledgeable and caring. I made an appointment for 11am on Saturday and was literally done at 11:30. Definitely the place I'll be taking my kitty for as long as I live in Lockport.
