The best experience I've had I had to switch a couple of veterinarian places before a friend referred me to Crawford Animal Hospital and from the moment I walked in I knew I was not going to go anywhere else. They looked at my dog like a family member not like a check like most other places do they talk about money before even finding out what the situation is. Crawford Animal Hospital was a total opposite I couldn't believe how I do not know about this place for this long I recommend anyone in the tri-state area to bring their dogs here or cats..

Doctor Josh was my go to whenever I had a problem with my bullies. Great vet. Always took the time to listen and never once jumped to conclusions if there was a problem he really listens ... It was great to know Dr. Gary and Dr. Alan and Dr. Josh all work together and there is never a ego thing just a really great vet family... I’ve been going here for over 16 years and never once had a problem or a misunderstanding. Location is very clean and the stuff are really helpful. These vets really do care and understand these are not animals we bring in as costumers... This little ones are our family....

I was looking for a vet after hours on a Saturday and I was so fortunate to have called Crawford Animal Hospital. I spoke to a service representative and was called back within 10 minutes by Dr Gary. After speaking to him, I waited an hour to see how things went . Suddenly I realized that Mia's condition was declining rapidly. Dr Gary met me at the hospital at 11:15 PM on a cold Saturday night. I had never met him before but genuinely liked him right away. Long story short, Mia was diagnosed and treated for a very severe case of Triaditis. She clearly would not be with us today if it wasn't for Dr. Gary coming out that night. She ended up staying for a week and and is amazingly back to normal. Thank you Dr. Gary for everything you did to save her life!

Its so very hard when your pet has to be left in a hospital for a surgical procedure. However Dr. Alan Baum and the staff at Crawford Animal took great care of both my cat Willie and myself by allowing private visits where I could share time and help with sooth Willies fears and mine. The office and hospital is clean and staffed by caring people. The price was acceptable and the care was spectacular. Can't find the words to thank them for a wonderful caring job.I wouldn't go anywhere else, and by the way, Willie the Cat is now a healthy 22 years old !

Horrible. I called to have my cats early history records transferred to another Vet because i had moved and was missing records from the cat when he was a baby and the Vet said they destroyed the records at 3 years. 3 Years? FIRST of all, this is illegal. BY LAW, they must keep records for a MINIMUM of 7 YEARS. Second, they didn't even notify me before destroying the records. I will be sure to report this to the NYS Board of Veterinary Medicine. Horrible, and i won't even get into the horrible dingy conditions or lifeless doctors who do not even seem to care. I recommend you take your pets elsewhere....

Unfortunately we had to put our beloved cat Emily to sleep. She was 19 years old and was with us for 15 of those years as our inside cat. We took her to see Dr. Alan Baum on Saturday as she was ill....
Unfortunately we had to put our beloved cat Emily to sleep. She was 19 years old and was with us for 15 of those years as our inside cat. We took her to see Dr. Alan Baum on Saturday as she was ill. He treated her with compassion and was reassuring to us that we had done the right thing by bringing her in. When we took her home, after being told that there wasn't anything we could do for her if we didn't do something invasive, which the doctor did not recommend based on her age, she seemed ok. Today we saw that she wasn't doing well and made the difficult decision. Dr. Alan was wonderful. Gentle with her and understanding of our feelings. We would not hesitate to recommend taking your beloved pet to Crawford Animal Hospital where you can be sure to get good and compassionate care.

My family has been going to Drs. Gary and Alan Baum and now Dr. Josh since before my parents had children. They have cared for several generations of my family's cats, and even though we've all moved since, when we need an expert, Dr. Gary is who we see first. Dr. Alan and Dr. Josh are just as good, I just started with Dr. Gary. They are excellent vets, extremely compassionate, and charge fair prices. You can't beat these Drs.

He had a bleeding mass which these Drs removed over 80% of his liver and 15 months later he is like a puppy! they are reasonable too. Highly recommend.

This family run veterinary practice is exactly the type of place I have been looking for. The three doctors are all Cornell grads. They are smart guys who will tell you what is going on. Most importantly they are always there. I think they work 7 days a week each. I especially appreciate that the hospital is fairly priced. After speaking to him, I waited an hour to see how things went . Suddenly I realized that Mia's condition was declining rapidly. Dr Gary met me at the hospital at 11:15 PM on a cold Saturday night. However Dr. Alan Baum and the staff at Crawford Animal took great care of both my cat Willie and myself by allowing private visits where I could share time and help with sooth Willies fears and mine. The office and hospital is clean and staffed by caring people. The price was acceptable and the care was spectacular. Can't find the words to thank them for a wonderful caring job.I wouldn't go anywhere else, and by the way, Willie the Cat is now a healthy 22 years old !

Very happy !! My Tigger has been in & out with Dr.Josh and he has been nothing but courteous, honest & very diligent. I am glad I found a vet I'm confident in since I'm new to the Long Island area

Very knowledgeable doctors. Front desk is kind. Walked in with a very fast visit and x-ray. Prices are affordable. Highly recommend to anyone in need of vet services.

He had a hotspot, that if not treated, would spread. The vets at this office are incredible, I would recommend this office to anyone who asks me.

Horrible. I called to have my cats early history records transferred to another Vet because i had moved and was missing records from the cat when he was a baby and the Vet said they destroyed the records at 3 years. 3 Years? FIRST of all, this is illegal. BY LAW, they must keep records for a MINIMUM of 7 YEARS. Second, they didn't even notify me before destroying the records. I will be sure to report this to the NYS Board of Veterinary Medicine. Horrible, and i won't even get into the horrible dingy conditions or lifeless doctors who do not even seem to care. I recommend you take your pets elsewhere....

Unfortunately we had to put our beloved cat Emily to sleep. She was 19 years old and was with us for 15 of those years as our inside cat. We took her to see Dr. Alan Baum on Saturday as she was ill....
Unfortunately we had to put our beloved cat Emily to sleep. She was 19 years old and was with us for 15 of those years as our inside cat. We took her to see Dr. Alan Baum on Saturday as she was ill. He treated her with compassion and was reassuring to us that we had done the right thing by bringing her in. When we took her home, after being told that there wasn't anything we could do for her if we didn't do something invasive, which the doctor did not recommend based on her age, she seemed ok. Today we saw that she wasn't doing well and made the difficult decision. Dr. Alan was wonderful. Gentle with her and understanding of our feelings. We would not hesitate to recommend taking your beloved pet to Crawford Animal Hospital where you can be sure to get good and compassionate care.

My family has been going to Drs. Gary and Alan Baum and now Dr. Josh since before my parents had children. They have cared for several generations of my family's cats, and even though we've all moved since, when we need an expert, Dr. Gary is who we see first. Dr. Alan and Dr. Josh are just as good, I just started with Dr. Gary. They are excellent vets, extremely compassionate, and charge fair prices. You can't beat these Drs.

Dr. Alan is the BEST professional around- Caring and confident but most important ALWAYS correct! He has seen it all. My 12yo Golden almost died over a year ago. He had a bleeding mass which these Drs removed over 80% of his liver and 15 months later he is like a puppy! they are reasonable too. Highly recommend.

This family run veterinary practice is exactly the type of place I have been looking for. The three doctors are all Cornell grads. They are smart guys who will tell you what is going on. Most importantly they are always there. I think they work 7 days a week each. I especially appreciate that the hospital is fairly priced. This hospital is the value vet care that seems so elusive these days. -Victor
