A great animal hospital. They saved my savannah cat's life with a same day surgery on his bowels. They also worked with me on keeping the cost and procedures at a minimum while still getting him the help he needs. I would go out of my way to stay with this vet.

We brought in our cat having seizures, they were unable to save her but they were sensitive and caring when we had to put her to sleep. The staff was very sympathetic and helpful.

I want to thank every single person in this office ,especially Dr. Scapperatti who took such wonderful care of my Kitty Cat for the entire 14 years of her life. She started there as a kitten and ended her life in his care. The compassion and love I felt that day is something I will never forget. He also takes care of our Allie. Brought in an orphaned, malnourished kitten because I couldn't keep her and didn't know what she needed to get better. They loved on her and assumed all responsibility for her. Its only been a few days and Harper, the kitten, is a loving mush who is much healthier and adoptable. Thank you for taking care of such an innocent life in her time of need. All the ladies I've met are WONDERFUL!

Excellent staff and service. I have had appointments with all three vets there, and they are all very straight forward and caring. They genuinely care about all the pets that walk through their door, instead of your maxing out your credit card. The pricing is very fair, especially since I came from nyc.

They have taken really great care of my dogs over the past 10 years. We will continue to use them as their attention to our family pets is great. Always helpful on the phone when you cannot make it in. Staff is kind and courteous. The Vets are attentive and always offer great advice. I have been to a few other Vets, and the prices here are very competitive as well.

This is the most amazing animal hospital. My family has 2 cats and 2 dogs, and the vets at the Mahopac Animal Hospital are so warm and gentle, even with our mean cat. Vet Steve Sterman literally saved our other cats life when it had to have multiple teeth removed, and coached us through the cat's recovery afterwards. I just can't say enough good things.

From the day I brought my puppy Lia to them 12 years ago up until the day we had to say goodbye to her; Mahopac Animal Hospital has been a great support. I can't say enough good things about the staff here. They have always been good at returning phone calls and answering questions. A special thank you to Dr. Sterman who even made a special house call when very much needed, and to Dr. Scapaerotti for trying everything possible to make Lia feel better. I will continue to visit this animal hospital as needed with our newest addition to the family. Thank you for all your help.

SCAM ALERT! They are all about money, the staff is extremely rude on the phone. It is a clinic for the first time-pet owner who doesn't know what is really needed and what are unnecessary money making scams such as annual rabies vaccinations. Give the consumer the facts and let them make an informed decision. There is no such thing as a one year serum. Shame on them. I would never use them simply because of the rude demeanor of the staff which the doctors do nothing to change.

Staff and Vets are great. Everyone is friendly and the hospital is quaint, yet modern. Seems expensive, but I think that's the cost of owning a pet and not the hospitals fault.

A great animal hospital. They saved my savannah cat's life with a same day surgery on his bowels. They also worked with me on keeping the cost and procedures at a minimum while still getting him the help he needs. I would go out of my way to stay with this vet.

Brought in an orphaned, malnourished kitten because I couldn't keep her and didn't know what she needed to get better. They loved on her and assumed all responsibility for her. Excellent staff and service. I have had appointments with all three vets there, and they are all very straight forward and caring. They have taken really great care of my dogs over the past 10 years. We will continue to use them as their attention to our family pets is great. Always helpful on the phone when you cannot make it in. Staff is kind and courteous. The Vets are attentive and always offer great advice. I have been to a few other Vets, and the prices here are very competitive as well.
