I would recommend South Putnam Animal Hospital to any pet owner. Dr. Hiber lessened The difficulty when it was time to say goodbye to Brandy and Boomer. And for the last eight or nine years they have taken excellent care of Petey , Bailey , Moose & Lil Girl. I recently moved out of that area , But I would certainly bring any members of my pac back to them if I ever moved back. The staff and the doctor were amazing . It was our first visit and I would never go any place else ! My very unfriendly dog was treated with kindness and patience. This is the second time I am using SPAH. My first dog was a patient fir 17 years. Near the end of Buster's life they were nothing but kind, considerate and understanding. After Buster's death they were compassionate and sent me flowers, pins and also a donation was made made in Buster' s name to a rescue shelter. The entire staff and all the physicians at SPAH are exceptional. Their knowledge and expertise are only surpassed by their caring, personal treatment! I joke with them that I wish my doctors took as much time and interest in me! It's actually very true! They are very accommodating with appointments, they take the time to address your concerns or questions, are clear and patient when explaining medications or at home care and then they call to check on your pet and follow up. They are knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of pet care including training and grooming, and will take the time to teach you or refer you to a trainer/class. I have never felt "rushed" out of the exam room, and always felt I had the Dr. or tech's full attention. In my opinion their prices are fair, and from past experience, I feel the care they provide, and the resources they have are much better and up to date than other places. Most importantly, the love of animals that they have is obvious and not reserved! That is the best criteria for an animal hospital, in my opinion! Read Less
