Compassionate Care is a pet owners dream. In over 40+ years of pet ownership, this is the absolute BEST. The care they have provided my critters has been wonderful. When the tough times have occurred, their caring and concern for my pet and for me has been so comforting. The facility is wonderful. Everything is state of the art. The staff is the best. Recently my dog was hit by a car and my vet is located in Cortland Ny. Compassionate Vet was recommended and I had to make a quick decision and that's where my dog ended up. There are no words to describe how great full I am. My dog spent a few days there and the staff was wonderful. They called me when they said they would with updates, let me come visit regularly and really treated my dog like one of there's. When it comes to vets I am a tad picky, hence why I drive to Cortland. But I now have a local vet that I am forever great full too and they now have gain a forever patient. We can't say enough about the care and service we have received from Compassionate Care Veterinary Hospital in Manlius, New York! Before we decided on a Vet for our puppy Tres, we interviewed several and by far Dr. Endres and his Office Manager, wife Connie at Compassionate Care were the best! They were not only personable, we could tell that they were passionate about Tres , after the interview we were sold! The service we have received over the past 2 1/2 years has been phenomenal. Any time we call, we are taken care of immediately and feel like Tres is their #1 priority. Recently, we had an unfortunate incident(not life threatening), however, we found out that Dr. Endres and his wife Connie were on vacation, we had to be referred to Bridge Street Hospital,in Dewitt New York, where we might add, they were wonderful. Dr. Endres, Connie and Michelle are amazing! My dog Mei is very shy but she absolutely loved all three of them. I appreciate the fact that they took the extra time to make my dog feel comfortable, and Michelle even sat on the floor with Mei the whole time, which no one has ever done before. Mei actually started falling asleep in Connies arms while Dr. Endres examined her from head to toe! That's how comfortable she was! Dr. Enders and his staff are phenomenal! My puppy loves going to the vet! I also love that I can get a hold of Dr. Enders anytime- day or night. He is also very detailed, and very good at diagnosing problems. I love the amount of time that he spends with me at each visit, he takes the time to educate me, and I don't feel like he charges me for unnecessary things. Sagwa and I had a lovely visit! The establishment is so clean and homey, it's easy to relax and feel comfortable. And the staff is super nice and friendly, they seem to really care and treated Sagwa just like he was as special as a cat or dog, even though he's just a little gerbil. It's great, because a lot of vet hospitals I've been to have a bit of a cold atmosphere, not to mention strange tension. But as soon as we walked in the door, it was like entering a spa! Changed to Compassionate because dog required dental surgery. The devoted and wonderful care my dog received and the good results of the dental surgery resulted in our staying with Compassionate. The office is wonderful to deal with and very attentive to my dog's needs. Medical care is great and staff is so nice and accommodating. We have been seeing Dr. Enders and his staff for over 4 years now. We have had 2 cats, 2 dogs and 1 gerbil under their care. With aging pets they have a large range of medical concerns both acute and chronic. Dr. Enders and his staff are like family to us. They are accomodating, flexible, caring, knowledgeable, and competent. We are confiendent in their skills and in knowing that our pets receive the excellent medical care. With every visit our pets are greeted with loving arms reciprocated by wagging tails. One of our elderly cats passed away about 2 years ago from a chronic medical condition. It was the first experience I have had with a pet passing. I felt completely supported by Dr. Enders and his staff and as always they went above and beyond to comfort us. We relocated and decided to take our pets to this vet. The building is brand new and the staff is incredibly helpful and polite. The primary doctor took the time to explain a number of things related to pet care for this part of the country. A complete physical of our dogs was informative and the suggestions made were not done with fear. I never felt pressured to do anything that was suggested. The completeness of the exam also provided us information on things we need to begin to watch given our dogs are getting older. Preventative care seems to be the primary objective vs. reactive care and/or selling additional services. The downside, this vet is a bit expensive compared to those I've had in the past in other States. If you can rationalize the slightly higher cost of services/shots/etc. by the thorough care and VERY clean facility then this is the place for you.Read Less
