Been going to Rockacres with my critters for AT LEAST 15 years. I’ve taken everything from dogs, cats, hamsters to guinea pigs there. The entire staff has ALWAYS been WONDERFUL with ALL of my critters...
Been going to Rockacres with my critters for AT LEAST 15 years. I’ve taken everything from dogs, cats, hamsters to guinea pigs there. The entire staff has ALWAYS been WONDERFUL with ALL of my critters. I have NEVER felt pressured into any decisions. They give me the info I need to make the decisions I have to make. Dr Caparelli is my main doc, but we’ve been to them all, and trust their judgement. Currently, one of my dogs (have two dogs, two cats, and three Chinese hamsters) is being treated for a respiratory issue. Doctor Caparelli had called me numerous times to make sure she is improving! I’ve been to other vets prior to going to Rockacres, but I can tell you I won’t go anywhere else again! This team really cares about what they do!!! They understand your critters are family!!!

We were very excited about this place. It came recommended. It is in a beautiful setting and looks like something out of Currier and Ives. We can't recommend this facility. Our veterinarian was Dr. Capparelli. She misdiagnosed our pet on several occasions to the detriment of our dearly beloved family member.

Amazing vets, every single one of them. Not only is the property beautiful, the facilities totally up to date, but it's a lovely and warm environment. I was so happy as I stepped out of the car to see this place - I knew it was a wonderful gem. We've received fantastic care for dogs and cats. They clearly love what they do, and love the animals that they see. I felt like we were right away part of a team to help give my pets the best care. Very individualized attention. After our first appointment they even wrote a handwritten card about how happy they were to get to know my pets. You don't get this kind of attention anymore. I could not recommend this place enough, they will be by your side!

I see Dr Ann Harris, but have seen Dr Capparelli and the new vet at different times I love them all. Kind compassionate and the have a true love of animals. My Peeka has significant allergies that lead to frequent ear infections. So I see them 2-5 times a year and never have a complaint. Dr Harris always call and follow up. Even when I am out of town and see someone else.

Excellent quality care and very thorough veterinarian examinations and follow up. Was having major issues with cat and thought we were going to have to put him down but after he was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and treated with appropriate medicine now we have our old furry friend back in action!Kind and knowledgeable staff.

I absolutely love taking my cats here. No matter where I have lived in Syracuse they have always gone here and will continue to do so. The staff are great and the doctors are so wonderful! They are always happy to explain what they are doing (or suggest) and why and always have time for questions.

Since moving to the area, this is the closest vet for my two fur babies, and I'm pretty happy with the choice. Not only is the staff very friendly, but they clearly love animals. I rarely have much more than a 5-10 minute wait and often am brought in earlier than my appointment time. The vet gave me her cell number in case of emergencies, which we fortunately never have, and they are extremely attentive during any appointments. Slightly on the pricey side compared to other vets, and I admittedly will take my dogs up north to my old vet for a teeth cleaning to save a few bucks, but for everything else, I'd say it's on par and worth it.

Took my sick dog there after i became dissatisfied with my previous vet. They got me in the next day even though I was not a patient there. They spend an hour and a half with me and did a very thorough exam. They were compassionate and caring. I highly recommend them

A little pricey, but they don't force procedures down your throat or make you feel like a bad owner like some other vets. Dr. harris is extremely caring, and remembers you and your pet when you see her out and about. She follows up with phone calls, and is very knowledgeable and skillful. I am glad I switched to this practice 9 years ago and will continue in the future.

Been going to Rockacres with my critters for AT LEAST 15 years. I’ve taken everything from dogs, cats, hamsters to guinea pigs there. The entire staff has ALWAYS been WONDERFUL with ALL of my critters. I have NEVER felt pressured into any decisions. They give me the info I need to make the decisions I have to make. Dr Caparelli is my main doc, but we’ve been to them all, and trust their judgement. Amazing vets, every single one of them. Not only is the property beautiful, the facilities totally up to date, but it's a lovely and warm environment. I was so happy as I stepped out of the car to see this place - I knew it was a wonderful gem. We've received fantastic care for dogs and cats. They clearly love what they do, and love the animals that they see. I felt like we were right away part of a team to help give my pets the best care. Very individualized attention. Since moving to the area, this is the closest vet for my two fur babies, and I'm pretty happy with the choice. Not only is the staff very friendly, but they clearly love animals. I rarely have much more than a 5-10 minute wait and often am brought in earlier than my appointment time. A little pricey, but they don't force procedures down your throat or make you feel like a bad owner like some other vets. Dr. harris is extremely caring, and remembers you and your pet when you see her out and about. She follows up with phone calls, and is very knowledgeable and skillful. I am glad I switched to this practice 9 years ago and will continue in the future.
