Middleport, New York
General Info
Ridge Animal Hospital in Middleport provides compassionate and experienced care for animals. Their services include acupuncture, dental care, pet euthanasia, and surgery. The team is aware of the importance of pets to their families and strives to promote wellness, prevent disease, and manage acute and chronic illnesses. Middleport pet owners rely on Ridge Animal Hospital to turn routine health disruptions into actionable care plans across New York. Initial consultations look at the pet’s changes and constancies in behaviour on a broad level, as well as its place and role within the family. Medical assessments target physical condition indicators which encompass oral health and respiratory rhythm along with skin and joint flexibility; additionally, posture or temperament changes. Veterinarians look at issues like itching, disinterest in toys, slower movement, and appetite changes to identify what needs early care. Ridge Animal Hospital offers a wide range of services including vaccinations, diagnostic tests, allergy and skin treatment, senior pet care planning, dental check-ups and breed-specific risk evaluations. The system schedules recommendations to match both the owner’s schedule and pet’s habits. Seasonality factors, housing and feeding trends, and companionship especially in households with multiple pets or those that also have children and senior animals. The plan development is based on the needs and abilities of both pets and families, accommodating behavioral cues, medication effects, and energy levels over time. Frequent sessions also help identify indicators that might have been overlooked, giving pet owners a precise tool to implement the recommendations. Ridge Animal Hospital aids pet families in Middleport and New York by nurturing confidence throughout every stage of care, ensuring routines are set, and adjustments are made early. They focus on preventive education, early detection, and timely treatment. Clients value the transparency, educational support, and customization of recommendations. From complicated diagnoses to senior pet management, the team stays involved in every case. As more pet owners become aware of their approach to pet health, the clinic’s reputation continues to grow.

I adopted a cat from a shelter back in April who I love very dearly. She is the sweetest, cuddliest little baby I've ever met, but she has been wracked with health issues. When adopting her I was unaware of her herpes and kidney disease and had the displeasure of having to go through three different veterinarians until I was persuaded to try Ridge Animal Hospital. Right away I was amazed and pleased by how pleasant and warm the secretaries were and their ability to accommodate my schedule. Their questions were thorough and their demeanor very professional. Though their office looks as though it could use a little TLC, that did not take away from how wonderful the staff was when I arrived. I have visited very aesthetic offices and been mistreated so this was no problem for me as long as the staff was able to treat my cat. Not only was I impressed with the vet techs but also both veterinarians. They listened to every little detail that I gave and made notes of it all and answered every question I had, all the while keeping their patient demeanor through my neurotic worrying. My cat Denali was finally able to be diagnosed and they worked with me financially to work out a treatment plan and explained very thoroughly how to administer everything and make sure I had no questions. My animal ended up needing to stay overnight for fluids and they allowed me to visit her and let me drop off personal belongings so she could feel at home. The cages in which the animals are kept are very spacious and they are offered both dry and wet food, which I was very pleased with and dispelled many of my worries about leaving her. Finally the cherry on top was the following day after bringing her home, they called to check on her and make sure I didn't have any questions about her health, medications or just in general for the vet. Dr. Monty is a very lovely man and I highly recommend him and the office to anyone. Read Less

For decades, I have been using Ridge Animal Hospital for the veterinarian needs for my animals. In all those years, many situations have arisen that tested the expertise of this clinic. I have had questions at times. I have had very ill dogs that ultimately have had to be euthanized. There have been difficult to diagnose cases. In all of these experiences, never once have I doubted the honesty, professionalism, expertise, and caring of any of the staff members from the doctors themselves to all of the tech and secretarial staff. They are very accommodating. I, in turn, get my animals in as prescribed for routine medical care. I keep appointments or call them for a different time. I pay my bills as they arise. (They do have Care Credit for those who need that service). It is with years of actual experience with Ridge Animal Hospital that I give them a 5-Star Review. They are not perfect & nor am I but they give their human best to make Ridge Animal Hospital one of the BEST veterinary clinics possible. They have my full and unqualified recommendation. Read Less
