The Village Veterinarian

New York, New York
General Info
The Village Veterinarian in New York manages pet care through a system that aligns medical procedures with both physical proximity and emotional connection by interpreting each step through a pet’s body language and recovery zones across the city. Every session starts with perimeter awareness where practitioners observe how pets explore the environment noting which areas they avoid and the speed at which they adjust their movement. Upon initiating interaction the clinic team examines body-system cues starting with fur density and external touch tolerance before progressing to assessments of oral health joint range and abdominal flexibility. The system assigns identical importance to owner reports including recent animal hesitation before stairs and alterations in sleeping patterns or object guarding behavior as well as shifts in interaction timing with household members. The Village Veterinarian offers an intricate medical mapping service that encompasses orthopedic planning alongside cardiovascular listening while also including hydration tracking and dermatological checks together with immune calibration and energy-rest cycles. Medical procedures organize steps to respect recovery periods by splitting even short diagnostics to avoid cumulative stress. Adjustments occur for noise levels, scent layering, and personnel proximity according to the animal’s responses at each threshold. The post-care guidelines depend on specific behavioral indicators including the duration needed for pets to reach their baseline state their chosen refuge spots in the house and the patterns of resumed or stalled social interactions. Assistance persists via visual touchpoint logs combined with optional sensory behavior debriefs. The Village Veterinarian delivers service to New York and its surrounding areas by treating each appointment as a kinetic exploration where they interpret the pet's signals throughout every room posture and pause instead of just at check-in.

We have been taking our dog Mavis to the Village Vet since we got her three years ago. Happy to report it has been a positive experience/relationship throughout. I have always found their fees to be reasonable and their treatment philosophy to be pretty conservative. i.e., they don't stick you with unnecessary procedures or medications. There are several different docs in the practice, each with their own personality and perhaps some minor differences in their views on how to treat the animals. My advice to the new patient/owner is to try working with each doc to see who suits you the best. That being said, all are very good and you won't be displeased with the service you receive! Dr. Moscovich has been our vet for over 25 years. We have followed him to several different locations. He is smart, caring, honest and he genuinely loves pets. Over the years his practice has grown to include Dr. Murphy and Dr. Chapman, and Dr. Marder. You can't go wrong with any one of them. The support staff is wonderful. Recently, I brought my sick dog in. He had to stay with them for treatment. They were great, they communicated with me often during his stay. When I picked him up, he seemed happy and much healthier than when I'd left him. They followed up with me in the days after his treatment. I can't say enough good things about The Village Veterinarian.. Read Less

This place is amazing, I trust them completely with my dog Pippin. The staff, especially Nina, and the doctors are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and are great for calming your nerves if you're anxious about your animal. They also make sure they're always trying to administer the right care, and ended up saving me from having to put my dog through surgery unnecessarily (and spending thousands). My cat has been in my family for 10 yrs..has asthma and pulls her fur out. Steroid injections are what works when she has a flare up..I went here for a second opinion. The vet told me I should have 'returned' her because she has health issues. Also said my cat was 'nasty'-she hadn't even moved or made a sound. He thinks bengal cats are 'nasty', or just all cats because they aren't excited to snuggle with a vet..? Then he said that 4:35 is too late in the day for tests and X-rays that take about 30 mins(later the office said it was because I was late he didn't have time..not true)..to instead drop her off the following day and in-between appointments they would 'get to it'. If my vet has to run off to dinner at 4:30pm(4:35 was when he said it's too late to do the tests..even if I was late, one hour of my vets time isn't too much to ask, especially for her first appointment. They probably shouldn't make appointments till 7pm if it's really 5pm. And, that one vet that needs to have dinner AT 5pm, should retire. All he did was insult me, insult my pet and touch her in an awkward way with his pen-that scared her..and why even bother touching her if you don't have time for the exam tests and X-rays. Yes, she has history to read over..but there was plenty of time to do the appointment. Even the way he was talking to her was gross. He was deliberately making her uncomfortable and I can't think why he would do that..What a creep! I think he wanted to chase me away as he had no new ideas and didnt want a tricky new patient. I highly doubt he has pets. If your pets are like family, this place in NOT for you. Read Less

Dr. Mosc, and all the other Docs (shout out to Drs. Chapman and Murphy!) at the Village Vet and the entire staff there have been caring for my pets as if they were their own for 10 years. Even though I moved to a borough, we still come all the way into the EV for our family vet. They have demonstrated for years that they can be trusted with our babies, and I cannot sing enough of their praises. Your pet will receive the absolute best care with them, and they are family, so you can trust them not just with your pet's health, but also with reasonable pricing and good judgment. Read Less

My dog and I just moved to the neighborhood, and I was worried about finding a good vet who also was reasonably priced. I called this place based on reviews, and was able to make an appointment the same day! We had an excellent experience. My dog normally is very nervous at vet offices, but we had a very short wait time in the lobby and all the staff made him feel like the center of attention. Dr. Murphy was great - she answered questions I asked and addressed questions I didn't even think to ask. We went for a routine heartworm check up, but we will definitely go here for all of our vet needs in the future. Read Less

i have taken my german shepherd dog, minna, here since i first got her. she is now five years old, and our most recent visit was because she needed to have various immunizations updated and also seemed to have something up with one of her ears. we went twice, two weeks apart, to tend to these matters. the first time, my husband took minna in, and she was given her immunizations and was diagnosed as having an ear infection and given drops to treat it. i took her back two weeks later for a booster for one of the immunizations and to have the ear checked out.there was a little bit of a wait to see the vet, but it was not unreasonably long. we saw dr danielle chapman, and she gave minna her shot, checked and cleaned her ear, and recommended some supplements that i should consider giving minna.i like that the vet tech was very smooth with my dog, handling her with confidence and calm. minna is very well behaved, so not hard to handle, but she really did not like having her ear thoroughly cleaned out, and he kept her still without any fuss.dr chapman choose to do the deep cleaning of the ear -- to make sure it was no longer infected -- while minna was still on the floor, rather than having her lifted to the table, despite the fact that this required dr chapman to squat down on the floor with her for a long time in the cramped office. this was thoughtful of dr chapman.the dr was very thorough in cleaning minna's ears, despite the awkward positioning and the fact that minna was turning her head away and fidgeting. dr chapman was both diligent and gentle.then she spoke to me about joint support supplements that she thinks minna should be on. she showed me the kind she uses for her dog online, even though it took some searching. i like that she made such a point of showing me the brand she thinks best, even though the office does not sell those supplements.the bill was about what i would expect for a private vet -- which is to say, not cheap. but we got what we needed done, and the experience was a good one. HARD PASS - NO EXCUSE FOR THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BAD BEDSIDE MANNER! Never in my life have I ever been treated so poorly by a place of business!!!  Nina, the receptionist, has so much attitude and gives customers unsolicited medical advice as if she is a vet herself. She literally YELLED at me, accused me of being overly protective of my pet, wouldn't stop yelling at me when I politely asked her to stop and hung up on me after dropping a curse word, all because I wanted to speak to a doctor before my high-risk senior pet was put under anistesia. There are no words to describe her or excuse her behavior. My pet, 5 lbs senior yorkie with a heart condition and chronic bronchitis has been going there for almost a year. He was seen by Dr Murphy.  She always answered my questions and seemed to care about my pet.  I liked her although my husband did not and had some of the same gripes as others on here: she was condescending, tangential, and greedy. Preston, my dog was also seen by another Dr. (pretty Asian woman) whom I felt was condescending, rude and impatient when I sought to ask her more questions, as she was giving me conflicting advice from Dr Murphy. Preston had been treated for many things and we have spent thousands of dollars for his care at Villiage Vet when we decided to get his teeth cleaned. This is scary for any pet owner especially when the pet is a very small senior with many health concerns. When I finally decided to get them cleaned I hadn't yet had a conversation to clear him for the procedure with the DR but I wanted to get it on the books before I changed my mind. I called 3 times after scheduling the procedure to speak with the DR. She called me back once while I was a work. When I returned her call minutes later she was busy each time. I rescheduled the procedure and went through another week of phone tag with her. I called twice before the second appointment and still wasn't able to reach her or called back. The day before his appointment I called and asked if I should schedule time to meet with the Dr. and Nina told me, "No, the Dr will call you." I called again the next day in the AM with no luck. The Dr called me during her lunch but I missed it because I was at work with a client. I called her 5 more times that day and on the 5th call was told she went home early. I asked if she would call me before the weekend so I knew how to properly care for my animal and also be sure that Preston was indeed able to have his teeth cleaned, even though he had been throwing up. Nina told me that Preston was clear, and insisted that everything was good when I tried to reschedule. Nina said that SHE knows Preston was fine because she looked herself. Excuse me? She's a receptionist. Then she started to laugh at me and insist that I was "overly protective and overreacting" and that Preston would be fine. Then she started yelling at me when I insisited to reschedule until I spoke to the doctor. "We can't keep rescheduling because you are "scared for no reason" and that if I cared about Preston I would "make myself available for the doctor. I called her 5 times and offered to schedule an appointment and pay the 95 bucks for it. I am not sure how MORE available I could have been. I am sorry, but I pay the DR and VV for a service and that service includes clearing my pet properly and answering my questions on how to properly care for my pet. If they want my 1500 bucks for the surgery the least they can do is be thorough and answer my questions - return a call and NOT YELL AT ME and BULLY me into getting the surgery. Nina kept yelling at me when I protested. She yelled at me so loudly that the cab driver of the cab I was in could hear her through the glass. I tried to get her to stop and she would just yell at me louder and louder. It was unhinged. She obviously has issues outside of this situation, but whatever the reason there are no excuses. I couldn't get a word out without her yelling louder and louder so I just held the phone 2 feet from my ear and let her go until she finally stopped and hung up. IT WAS CRAZY. I will never go back there. I made a complaint and got no response. abusive behavior like this wasnt even acknowledged. Go to Worth Street Vet instead they were freindly and kind and have great reviews. Read Less

After years of taking my cat here, I was just refused service after requesting a different vet than the one I saw last time based on a negative review on yelp that I did not write which described a similar complaint. Monica Murphy was the vet I complained about- which other people clearly have also described as rude, unprofessional and uncaring toward both animals and their caretakers.  She made a prognosis of my cat needing a painful and costly surgery before even taking him out of the carrier and then described in bizarre detail how he could potentially spray blood and bleed out in my apartment. Or need to be potentially put down after being bitten by a bat! Who needs this kind of crazy language when they are stressed about a sick pet.  The receptionist had no problem selling me very expensive cat food before asking me to leave- again based on something I had not written (yet) in yelp. I will post again to recommend a competitor in the neighborhood with higher standards for care and customer service. Read Less

Dr. Moscovich is one of the most amazing vets in the world. I brought my dog Sugar to him when I got her at 7 months old, they became best friends and vet visits for her were a fun thing to do. She loved him with all her heart and whenever she saw him walk into the room she was all his. He could draw blood, give her medicine, clip her nails and she would just sit there and loved every second of it. (Meanwhile whenever I had to trim her nails it was a battle ground and my apartment got turned upside down). Sugi would drag me to his office once we turned the corner and would of course have to say hi to every staff member as she thought everyone came just to give her treats and pet her. If you need a vet who your pet will love and you will be satisfied with for your pets lifetime, he's the man for the job! All the employees make your pet feel like he/she is the life of the party and will make your pet feel extra special. I loved Nina at the front desk, not only is she amazing at her job, she's also a big animal lover.I have sent many friends to Dr. Moscovich and everyone has thanked me to help them find their pets dreamboat of a vet! Very reasonable for a private practice with boutique touch. Almost compares to HSNY in initial visit price. It's a bargain. Been a client since 1999, after my foster dog was attacked in the dog run. Switch all my animals from St. MARKS which was 2 buildings away. Dr. M uses part holistic & part western while using diagnostics ever since I saw him, he was able to diagnose a lot of foster dogs with random chronic conditions without always resorting to medications, but a combination of herbs, etc. that they are just starting to talk about today like tumeric. Everyone there is wonderful, patient & knowledgeable. Dr. M might seem gruff, but that's just him being direct & honest. He needs to do his job, as with people some dogs have a low threshold for pain or cry easily. He's not trying to hurt a dog, just assess as much as possible with out taking x-rays, or further measures that might not be necessary. Some dogs need to be put under for many procedures, it is risky the older they are. He's doing his job, & trying to be gentle. I moved, & I've been to the vets in my neighborhood, but I prefer to trek there. Have him assess my dogs, & any dog I consider to adopt for temperament. He's always right. I highly recommend him and all of his staff. They are not there for a paycheck, which is rare. They do care. Read Less

I have been to many many veterinarians in both Manhattan and Brooklyn since having my dog Philly from the time he was 2 mos old to 13 yrs. The best care he ever received was from Dr. Moscovich. Some may not agree with his tone or whatever but it is evident that he loves animals. He does not try to please the owners and 100% focuses on the patient. One day my 12 year old pit bull had a nosebleed for the 1st time. Immediately I find an animal hospital that was open late (Blue Pearl 57th St Manhattan). I was given a quote for almost $4,000 to put my dog under anesthesia and put a camera up his nose (which had already stopped bleeding) to find out the source of the nosebleed. I was told this was the only way to find out if there is something in his nose. Considering my dog's age, I was reluctant to allow anesthesia. A close friend recommended Dr. Moscovich. He immediately told me let's not jump the gun because the route that Blue Pearl advised should be a last resort. He ordered a sonogram and this revealed a ruptured spleen so Dr. Moscovich scheduled surgery for the same evening. After the spleen removal, even at 12 yr old, Philly was energetic and happy like a puppy again.I recommended a friend to come here and Dr. Moscovich is aware of her dog's anxiety but unlike pet parents, he doesn't baby the dog! We as pet owners don't want our pets to be sick yet are quick to blame vets for doing things we can't summon the strength, knowledge, or experience to do! Of course an anxious dog will be more anxious at the vet but it still needs medical care regardless! Pet parents should understand that a doctor is there to help and train your pet as needed, not to train humans!I will never go to another veterinarian!!! I have a fearful dog. If he gets freaked he barks. I had been going to the village vet for a few years, and although I had never agreed with dr. M's views on behavior (Old school and antiquated methods) I figured that it didn't matter bc he was good to my pup. Well, one day he had his magnifying glasses on, which make his eyes appear very large and it freaked my dog out. My dog barked, and dr m proceeded to chase my dog around the room until he was in a corner cowering (why would you fight fear with fear?) I told him to stop bc I don't use intimidation methods and he proceeded to do this TWO more times. He told me that I have to show my dog who the 'dominant' one is....um....the 1940's called and they want their bullshit research study back. I finally lost it and told him to read the American vet associations stance on the dominance theory and to stick to his medical training and to leave the behavioral advice for people actually trained in behavior. He asked me to leave and I have never returned. I advise against this place especially if you're seeking any sort of behavioral advice. He clearly needs to catch up on his reading, and no, watching the dog whisperer doesn't count. He seems to think that Cesar Milan is something more than an insecure man with good editors. Read Less

My girlfriend and I recently moved back to NYC after a year out of town and in that time, we adopted a 6 year old female lab mix.  A few days after we got into the city, our dog started acting very strange.  She wouldn't sit on her butt (she would lay down or sit on her side when we asked her to sit) and she was holding her tail at an odd angle (not up and wagging like normal).  My girlfriend started looking for places around our apartment and found The Village Veterinarian.  She called, explained our situation, and was able to get an appointment the next day.Yes, the waiting room is small (which isn't all that surprising - this is the East Village after all) but Nina was very knowledgable and entertaining so it was definitely bearable.  When we saw Dr. Marden, he seemed genuinely concerned about our pup and spent an appropriate amount of time examining her, asking us questions, and answering our own. He gave her a shot and by the next morning, she was back to her old, happy self.  What we liked the most was that Dr. Marden asked us to please call him the next day to update him on our dog's conditional regardless of whether it improved or stayed the same - he seemed to really care. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that even though we showed up early for our appointment, we didn't see anyone for almost an hour and no one said anything about it.  Luckily, neither my girlfriend nor I had any plans after the appointment but we would happily have shown up an hour later.  Regardless, we'll be going back next time we need anything. 2014 - my dog was treated by Moscowtiz. She was acting irregularly. Moscowitz took x rays and diagnosed her as fine. My dogs health regressed and i started to panic. She couldn't even walk. I brought her back and while Moscowitz wasn't there, his colleague treated my dog. She suggested, with conviction, that i take her to the hospital. Long story short, my dog had a peach pit in her stomach that was unable to digest and nearly died. Moscowtiz was supremely short sighted and neglected the situation. Had she passed away I wouldve sued the fuck out of this guy. Honestly wouldve ruined his life, let alone his career. But no. Mochi lives on, happy and hungry. And we are so happy that she is. But this about transparency. You're a smart guy Moscowitz. Quality control. Read Less

Love this vet! I've taken 3 of my pets here (1 who is recently deceased from old age) and I've only had good experienced. They have several vets on staff and great vet techs and office staff! I love the 2 women at the front desk who always have great training tips, tasty treats, and put up with my 2 dogs. I forget the name of the younger woman vet but she was amazing with 1 of my dogs when she developed a build up of fluid in her elbow. Our previous vet in Hawaii was unable to fix her problem but the vet here did a fantastic job and she has had no problems since. It was a long and emotional 3 weeks of treatment for my dog and they helped me through every step of it. They are the best in all of NYC! Read Less

Don't be fooled by the good reviews here. Look through the reviews yourself and you will find the hit or misses of this place. I had a miss when I first brought my puppy here to get vaccines and a check up. I had Dr. M who did a "test" on my puppy by harassing him and sticking his thumb down his throat causing him to vomit on the table and traumatizing my puppy - WTF. I'm upset he did not explain to me this behavioral test. His tone to me was condescending and he expressed that my puppy will have issues and what not. It's been 3 months later and my puppy is very socialized and happy. He said he did not care about the dogs previous vaccine records and just gave him all the shots again. This place does things by the book, but the customer experience is just bad for humans and dogs. It was a bad first visit and I don't intend to go back. Read Less

- personable staff- had 2 positive visits and 1 terrible visit- I brought my furbaby in for his vaccinations. . the last round we were there for his last distemper and his rabies. I had expressed concerns about giving him 2 shots in one day since he was only a few pounds, I was afraid that it might overwhelm his tiny system and I already had reservations about the rabies shot since he's an indoor cat and I had read that some animals have bad reactions but the vet assured me that it was routine and he'd be fine. I anxiously agreed because hey, I'm not a doctor, what do I know. . . within a few hours of taking him home, he was lethargic and had a temperature half a degree from organ damage. The ER kept him overnight for observations ($800+) on top of the ($200+) I had already spent that day on his vaccinations/vet visit. I called up the vet sobbing and left a voicemail. The next day they rang me back to say that there was no way the vet could've known he'd have an allergic reaction and that there was nothing they could do but put a note in his chart for the future. Though I acknowledge there was no way she could've known how horribly his body would react to the shots, I felt like they could've at least offered to compensate me for the visit or at least the vaccination. Anything. No apology was issued. Read Less

We had an excellent first visit to the Village Vet last week. We just adopted our new dog Frank last Thursday,  and he needed to be checked out after having been through multiple transports, shelters and fosters. Getting an appointment was easy and quick- I was able to get in the next day!  I had a great experience with the lovely person who I spoke on the phone with.  Upon our arrival, Frank was loved on by the staff who were all very nice, clearly very compassionate and also informative! We have not had a young pup in years so it was great to get some extra tips and reminders while waiting.Vet gave him a once over and we agreed we'd like to do a full blood and stool test to just make sure he wasn't carrying anything. He also needed some vax boosters and heartworm. The vet also gave me some more insight into his age, I had been told he was approx 4-5 months but the vet cleared up that he has all his full teeth so is probably closer to 6-8 months. Which is bit of a relief since he is already almost 40 lbs : )I found the pricing to be very reasonable, what I expected, and totally in line with what we have paid for other vets in the city with our previous dog.Test results were quick, clear and clean, and again I got some excellent tips from the person I spoke with when they gave me the results. Look forward to having our pup grow up and live a long healthy as a patient of the Village Vet Read Less

I moved to the East Village from Florida a year ago with my 5 year old pup, Buster. His allergies where getting so bad he could not stop scratching. So I did some research and called The Village Veterinarian. They were able to get us in right away and Dr. Oz's bed/table side manner was the best I have ever received. Being new to the city, I was not sure what to expect and was nervous but he was so sweet and generous to Buster and I. I have been taking Buster in for his allergies for years now and the Dr and his team worked with me to find a long term solution. Something no other vet had ever brought up, they would traditionally send me of with some medicine and some advice i didn't understand because i didn't go to vet school. The Dr and his staff made us feel very comfortable. We ended up having to have several follow up appointments which they gave to us at no charge (this is just unheard of). One of the techs even gave me her personal cell phone should i ever have any questions or emergencies. Recently, I moved up to the UWS but I will continue to bring Buster down to visit Dr. Oz because of how great the service we receive is! Read Less

I brought both my cats here for years. I live in the neighborhood. About 5 years ago I got upset at something Dr. Moscovich said, or more accurately: the way he said it. I stopped going. That was a Huge mistake, and loss for me. I recently went back when my cat had an ulcer in his eye. We were first seen by Dr. Colon, who was lovely and very competent. She diagnosed the ulcer and told me to come back in three days. I did and saw Dr. Moscovich. He told me he thought I was wrong when I was upset when I left the practice. I appreciated his honesty. I am so happy to have my cat seen my him. He is incredibly generous with his time. He is the only vet I have ever seen who does not overcharge and actually gave his time and expertise free of charge when I returned for a re-check. I adopted my two cats after 9/11 ten years ago. These cats were the first pets I had as an adult. I have since learned a lot about being an owner and taking care of pets. I hope Dr. Moscovich stays in practice for many years to come. The Village Veterinarian

New York, New York
(56)
318 E 11th St
New York New York 10003

I think he wanted to chase me away as he had no new ideas and didnt want a tricky new patient. i have taken my german shepherd dog, minna, here since i first got her. she is now five years old, and our most recent visit was because she needed to have various immunizations updated and also seemed to have something up with one of her ears. we went twice, two weeks apart, to tend to these matters. the first time, my husband took minna in, and she was given her immunizations and was diagnosed as having an ear infection and given drops to treat it. i took her back two weeks later for a booster for one of the immunizations and to have the ear checked out.there was a little bit of a wait to see the vet, but it was not unreasonably long. we saw dr danielle chapman, and she gave minna her shot, checked and cleaned her ear, and recommended some supplements that i should consider giving minna.i like that the vet tech was very smooth with my dog, handling her with confidence and calm. minna is very well behaved, so not hard to handle, but she really did not like having her ear thoroughly cleaned out, and he kept her still without any fuss.dr chapman choose to do the deep cleaning of the ear -- to make sure it was no longer infected -- while minna was still on the floor, rather than having her lifted to the table, despite the fact that this required dr chapman to squat down on the floor with her for a long time in the cramped office. this was thoughtful of dr chapman.the dr was very thorough in cleaning minna's ears, despite the awkward positioning and the fact that minna was turning her head away and fidgeting. dr chapman was both diligent and gentle.then she spoke to me about joint support supplements that she thinks minna should be on. she showed me the kind she uses for her dog online, even though it took some searching. i like that she made such a point of showing me the brand she thinks best, even though the office does not sell those supplements.the bill was about what i would expect for a private vet -- which is to say, not cheap. but we got what we needed done, and the experience was a good one. Read Less

After years of taking my cat here, I went in to make an appointment for my elderly cat who is clearly experiencing pain. I was refused service after politely requesting an appointment with a different doctor than MONICA MURPHY, who was unprofessional and discompassionate at my last appointment. Read Less

We have been going to Village Vet since our pup was 8 weeks old, he is now 7 years old and we are so happy to be a part of the Village Veterinarian Family. And I mean it when I say they are a family. From scheduling an appointment, to walking in the door, to talking through issues with Nina (who is a cornerstone of the whole operation, and I can not say enough good things), to every moment in the doctor's office, we always feel our pet's needs and health are the highest priority.  We have a fluffy Pom who has had his share of medical issues (from small skin issues, to full blown pneumonia, to knee surgery) and I feel that Dr. Moscovich and Dr. Murphy have always been kind, helpful, and calmed me down as much as my pet. The entire staff is professional and loving and they understand how important these animals are to our lives. We are lucky to have them in our lives and that our pup has the best doctors in town!

Thank you Nina and Cisco for being there for my dearest Philly!!! Read Less

After the 5th yelp of my dog I asked Dr. M if he could be more easy with him as he is in pain.  Dr. M's response was "Well maybe you should go somewhere else if you don't like what I'm doing"  it was very rude and very unprofessional.  After reading some of these reviews I would agree that his 1940's style approach is not good.

It's been 3 months later and my puppy is very socialized and happy. He said he did not care about the dogs previous vaccine records and just gave him all the shots again. My Littleman was not doing well and I was so sadfor him so I took him to Dr Moscovich and he treated my Littleman with so much tenderness at that moment I knew my Littleman was going to be ok May god bless Dr Moscovich,Vanessa and Vanessa Dad and the rest of this beautiful staff Thank you all for all your kindness Except Nena she was so nasty and rude. Why did you NINA come back to make people lives miserable like you did to Me and my Littlemen I will never forget what you did to me when you try to push me out the office in front of other people that was bringing their furry baby to see the Doctor. The best people there are Vanessa, Vanessa Father and Dr Oz!!! And for your info know one in that office like you sad but very true.Read Less

by the way they are now on E. 11th street between 1st and 2nd ave ALSO POSTED THIS ON YELP AND THEY FILTERED IT...I GUESS HE DOES NOT ADVERTISE ON YELP An amazing vet and a wonderful human being. I will not be foolish enough to leave this vet again. Read Less

I came into see Dr. Colon (apparently new to the practice) after my cat ate some poison. I was frantic and worried out of my mind but Dr. Colon reassured me that everything would be fine. She carefully explained what she was planning to do to treat the poisoning as well as the long term followup (meds for 4 weeks) and answered each of my questions patiently. She and the staff were extremely knowledgeable and caring. Not only did they clear the schedule for my emergency and treat my cat quickly, they made the entire experience tolerable without costing me an arm and a leg. I plan on continuing to take my pets to see Dr. Colon! Read Less

Dr. Katrowitz is the nicest vet I have ever been to. I absolutely disagree with the other two reviews -- to the point where I can only assume they went to a different vet than I. He loves animals, and was cuddling and kissing my dogs through the entire visit. My dogs absolutely adores him. As for value, he is honest and fair, and is more likely to tell you there is absolutely nothing wrong with your dog (rather than over prescribing and therefore overcharging!) He even let me bring both dogs in one time, and only charged me for one visit. The man is amazing. Your pet will love him! Read Less
