I called this office among a few others looking for ideas of where to take my daughters new kitten for neutering and vaccines. I got a price quote and general guidelines for how old the kitten has to be ect. This was about two months ago. The girl was pleasant. So I called back today and encountered this very loud and rude woman who contraindicated all the previous information that I had been given. When I politely said that all the staff members should be given the same information so as to not confuse people this lady got even more rude. She snapped at me and said she did not think I would be a good fit there for the office and that the Dr wasn't taking any new patients. Well I curtly wished her a pleasant day and called another Veterinarian office that was quite pleasant to talk with...and little kitty has an appointment tomorrow morning. Oh well. I called because one of my family members had a 5 week old puppy having seizures out of nowhere and I live right next door to them so my first instinct was to call them... The lady on the phone kept over talking me & rushing to get off the phone and told me that you "need to be a member & we're not accepting anyone else"... She wouldn't even let me finish! So long story short we drove 30-45 minutes onto Transit RD. to a vet in Amherst where we got MUCH more better/nicer service. The puppy is healthy & playing as we speak because of them!Read Less

Dr Gerber and Dr M are excellent vets. They are very compassionate Drs. .i trust them totally with my animals . Never have they tried to get me to get unnecessary care for my pets . I believe their prices to be fair . My family and I have known Dr Gerber for quite some time and I can say we have always found him to be very intelligent,patient and caring . l Thank God for people like him who care for our pets.His love for animals is obvious! When Dr Gerber started his own clinic, I followed because he showed he is a very caring person and an excellent vet. He goes above and beyond more than any other vet I have seen in this area. I called about my dogs clicking noise and they said he would have to have an xray and stay for the day. I said i dont feel comfortable because my wife and i schedule. The Secretary wendy got really loud and mean. They will say she didnt get loud but i taped the conversation. I didnt even get the chance to apologiz they already sent my animals paperwork out. I will not take my pets anywhere else. Only the absolute best for them and that is Gerber. The staff there is always very friendly and helpful, they make time of me if I have questions or concerns, or need to bring my pets in. I never feel like I'm being rushed when I'm there, they take the time and effort to explain things to me and make sure I understand everything. The office is always nice and clean as well. The prices are very reasonable. I often find strays on my doorstep and the work that they need varies. I've never paid an unreasonable price at this office, and I have brought sick animals to them, or animals that were in need of surgery (spay/neuter). In fact I believe that their prices are very low. Also, this is not an office that will overcharge and recommend work that isn't needed. I have brought all sorts of different animals to them, each requiring different care. I've brought sick animals to them and they have always taken the best approach for me, while also being considerate of my budget. They really do their best here to help and every time I see them they go above and beyond to help. I take my pets health very seriously. They are my family and I don't know what I would do if something happened to them. My pets can't talk to me and tell me if something is wrong, so thank God for Gerber because I trust them with my pet's lives and I would be lost without them! Read Less

Our pet dog recently had an abcessed tooth which needed to be pulled. We had her looked at by our normal vet and were given an estimate of over $1000 for oral surgery. We decided to get a second opinion and called Dr. Gerber. He agreed to perform the surgery at his office even though we weren't regular patients. To make a long story short, our dog had the procedure done within a couple days and was back to her normal self in no time. The staff a Gerber's did a great job and charged us far less than what we would have been charged if were went to our regular vet. We couldn't be happier with the excellent service they provided! I live in Amherst NY and make it a point to go all the way to Niagara Falls just so that my pets get the best care. Dr. Gerber and Dr. Mroziak-Hartwick truly care about animals and aren't in it for the money. My cat was very ill 2 years ago and ended up needing IV fluids and spent time for observation. My darling Rosie was scheduled for exploratory surgery and ended up passing just before. The staff at the clinic decided against charging me for her hospitalization and apparently this is something they regularly do. I couldn't ask for a better, more caring vet. Read Less

I have been taking my pets there for two years and they have been great - attitude, knowledge and bedside manner. Yes, you have to leave a message for them to call you back - but I have ALWAYS been called back the same day, usually within an hour or two. If possible, I have the same Dr. for my pet visits. They have gotten to know the Dr. which lessens their anxiety. They must be doing something right if they are not taking new patients at this time! The only way I would change Drs. is if I move from the area (and I don't even live in Niagara Falls). Read Less
