Our first visit with Animal Junction was an urgent visit for our older dog’s eye. The staff were very accommodating, and Dr. Carroll explained everything thoroughly. We’ve continued to go back with our adult dog and new puppy. The office staff and Dr. Carroll have been nothing but amazing throughout his visits including a broken toe, intestinal parasite infection, and most recently his neuter. We highly recommend this clinic 🙂 Read Less

We have been clients of Animal Junction for 10+ years and were always happy with their care up until Dr. Osborne left the practice. While the other vets may be amazing at what they do, if you can't get past the administrative staff, it doesn't really matter. While my family was on vacation our dog had a stroke. Our pet sitter (and I) tried calling Animal Junction repeatedly but kept getting a busy signal because they only have one line. Our pet sitter loaded Shiloh (our dog) into the car and began driving while continuing to call the office. She finally got through to KAREN and who basically put up a road block. It was close to closing time and even though it was an emergency and she would arrive BEFORE close, Karen told her "Don't even bring her here". Yes....it was an emergency...our dog was suffering and because Karen wanted to get the staff out of the office on time, she told our sitter to not even bring her there. Unfortunately this was not our first bad experience with Karen. If you called the office and needed anything outside the realm of scheduling an appointment, you were greeted with attitude. Need a refill of your dog's heart worm, tick meds? Snark. Need a copy of your dog's rabies certificate? Laughter and sarcasm. We always tolerated her because we loved Dr. Osborne. In a profession that requires compassion and a basic level of people skills, I am shocked that Karen still has a job. "But everyone loves Karen. She has been with us for 16 years." Yea, well I think she has become a little too comfortable and it is time to revaluate Karen's level of interaction with the general public. Oh and our dog Shiloh? The one that Karen & our sitter fought about? She died. Not only did she die, but she suffered the ride to the Animal Hospital only to be humanely euthanized by a complete stranger in an unfamiliar place. Read Less

We can't say enough about the hospitality at AJVC. We weren't even clients of Dr Waldron when I called and spoke to Karen. I explained to her that our 14yro German Shepard was not doing well and I would be flying in from the other side of the country. Karen was awesome, she found a space and got us in.
After arriving we were welcomed with open arms by Karen, Suzanne and The Great Dr Waldron.
We were given the bad news and a recommendation. Putting him down was painful. However All three was were right with us, comforting my wife and I. AJVC is totally a remarkable place with excellent staff. Read Less

Dr Waldron and Dr Osbourne have been wonderful to me and my pets. About eight years ago, I'd grown tired of the large outfit that runs most of the Monroe County animal hospitals (pricey and not terribly personal), and was investigating alternatives. A friend recommended Dr Waldron's practice, and I'm so grateful. She and Dr Osbourne are extremely personable and caring, and the prices are reasonable relative to what I'd seen previously. When Dr Waldron provided aftercare for one of my dog's injury/surgery, she was generous with her time/billing, being entitled to much more than she billed me. Dr Osbourne was so very compassionate when helping me navigate end-of-life care for one of my dogs. The practice is clean, bright, and cheerful. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and I never seem to wait terribly long to be seen. Even though I now live over a half hour from their practice, I continue to take my pets there. They're that good.Read Less
