They were completely booked as well, but made time for us. Dr. Fischer and her staff were amazing to work with!

I cannot ever say enough about Dr. Fischer and her entire team at 5 Corners. They provided the best possible care I could imagine for my dog, fighting off infections and offering solutions and resources above and beyond what I've seen from other professionals. When my parents took in my dog while I was living in Australia, Dr. Fischer even called me to talk through what was happening and what she recommended. And her entire team was top-notch, taking care of my pup right through the end. If you need a veterinarian anywhere in Western New York, go to Five Corners.

Our new vet for sure. They are tremendous! They really care about their patients and the caretakers. They were able to fit us in last minute when we needed to make an emergency visit for our cat-friendly, courteous and very accommodating. The did a thorough check, explained everything to us first and didn't push for us to do anything extra that would have lined their pockets if we didn't want to. They always greet and check us out with a friendly smile. They even called to follow up a few days later to make sure our cat was doing well. We love going here and will continue to do so!

I recently had to say goodbye to my cat, Ethel. She had been a patient at 5 Corners for several years. The process was handled with the utmost respect and dignity. The staff and Dr. Fisher were wonderful. I left there with a real sense of peace after having to make such a difficult decision. I have been a nurse for many years and have seen patients in the hospital pass with much less dignity and respect.

I am a veterinary technician so I am the most critical critic of all when it comes to vet hospitals! I love five corners. I've been bringing my own dog here for 10 years now. Despite working at a different animal hospital as a profession, I still return to five corners for my dogs routine exams. Clean, prompt, and reasonably priced.

This is my new vet in the south towns. My cat had been acting strangely and hissing when he was jumping on and off of things. I called in and they got me in a few hours later. The waiting room is very nice with a koi pond. They had my cat's name up on a marker board saying 'welcome' which was a cute touch. The nurse (vet tech?) and the vet were very nice and the examination room had a bench for me to sit and some amusing light reading for cat and dog owners. They carefully examined Mechka (the cat) and found he had popped out his knee cap. The vet was luckily able to pop it right back in and was unable to pop it back out so it was set. They spent a lot of time doing the examination and making sure all of his little legs and feet were bending, stretching, and working correctly. I really appreciated the thoroughness.They did a thorough basic exam as well, updated Mechka on his rabies shot, and suggested some preventative treatments for kitty teeth and gave me a plan with prices and treatments outlined to let me know how much they would be. They also prescribed an anti-inflammatory for the leg swelling due to the knee injury and advice for administering it. Very pleasant experience. You can tell the staff really care and love their jobs. Highly recommended!

My pets, cats and a dog, have been receiving excellent care at 5 corners for about 10 years. My extended family members have had the same experience of excellent service and high quality care. One example of their great service was the time my dog needed a last minute kennel cough vaccine so we could leave on vacation and they were so accommodating! Also, My dog has had some complex medical issues that Dr. Fischer has helped us work through, and our pup is happy and healthy now! I highly recommend this vet practice.

I've been a happy client of Dr. Karen Fischer at 5 Corners Animal Hospital for over ten years. During that time, she has seen to the health and well-being of my cat and dogs. I love how easily accessible she is for questions; the office staff is courteous and professional, and there's no waiting around, whether it be for a phone call back about a sick pet, or in the office when you show up for your scheduled visit. I own a horse farm and have been around vets my whole life. I'm a little too quick to discount them if they have bad people skills or seem less intelligent than I'd hope. Dr. Fischer won my confidence my first visit and has kept it for a decade.

Also think the staff is the best around. We have also seen Dr. Herr for acupuncture on our 16 year old poodle. Outstanding and really has helped!! May 2015 I was new in town and needed to get my 10 yr. old miniature poodle 3 vaccinations and a heartworm test. After waiting for 45 minutes for my (7 day ahead) scheduled appointment when no other people were in the waiting room I was finally able to see Dr. Fischer. I wasn't impressed at all, she walked out in the middle of my time with her keeping me waiting another 15 minutes with no explanation given. I was there a total of 2 hrs and didn't get the impression the staff were very on the ball at all. Front end staff told me THEY would call with the results of the blood work (since I was a new patient, they didn't. When I called to speak with Dr. Fisher on 5/21 to express my dismay I was told she was in surgery and would call me back, she Never did. To top it off I feel I was over charged. $300 + much of which I felt was over the top and not necessary. Needless to say, I'm looking for a more caring and professional vet whose priority isn't money.

I have taken my two cats here since they opened several years ago. The veterinarians and their staff are kind and gentle to my pets which lets me know that they truly like animals. They are thorough and follow-up on any problems they find. In addition to routine visits and immunizations, they have cared for one of my cats who was attacked by a raccoon (he has not been outside, except in the car, since) and neutered my other cat when he was a kitten. Both were rescues who simply wandered onto my property. My oldest cat is now 16 and the "kitten" is 6! Their Southtown facility is modern, spotless and set up to easily separate incoming pets. They are not inexpensive but they give excellent quality care with kindness and gentleness.

I treat my dogs and care for them just like most care for the children. I always want the absolute best for them regardless and I am very particular about the care and treatment they receive. I have had my dogs as 5 Corners Animal hospital for 3 1/2 years and prior to that I bounced around with places because I was not happy with the care my dogs received. I am completely happy with all the care my dogs have received from 5 Corners Animal Hospital. I have a Labrador Retriever who has some health issues and is there frequently. I can not say enough good things about the treatment he has received from Dr. Patti and the rest of the staff. He can be difficult at times and they have always handled him with the most respect, care, professionalism, and love. They are also very good with crazy over protective owners. I would highly recommends 5 Corners Animal Hospital to anyone who wants their animals to receive the best care along with love.

Our new vet for sure. They are tremendous! They really care about their patients and the caretakers. They were able to fit us in last minute when we needed to make an emergency visit for our cat-friendly, courteous and very accommodating. Outstanding, professional, friendly, prompt, wonderful service for our dogs! We have been going there since they opened and we highly recommend Dr. Fischer. She goes above and beyond. Also think the staff is the best around. We have also seen Dr. Herr for acupuncture on our 16 year old poodle. Outstanding and really has helped!! We have been to many vets and specialists for our many dogs, but none can top this practice.

May 2015 I was new in town and needed to get my 10 yr. old miniature poodle 3 vaccinations and a heartworm test. After waiting for 45 minutes for my (7 day ahead) scheduled appointment when no other people were in the waiting room I was finally able to see Dr. Fischer. I wasn't impressed at all, she walked out in the middle of my time with her keeping me waiting another 15 minutes with no explanation given. I was there a total of 2 hrs and didn't get the impression the staff were very on the ball at all. Front end staff told me THEY would call with the results of the blood work (since I was a new patient, they didn't. When I called to speak with Dr. Fisher on 5/21 to express my dismay I was told she was in surgery and would call me back, she Never did. To top it off I feel I was over charged. $300 + much of which I felt was over the top and not necessary. Needless to say, I'm looking for a more caring and professional vet whose priority isn't money.

I love this hospital. It is small, the people are very nice and welcoming. It is clean and it really doesn't feel like a hospital....it is warm and fuzzy for sure. Very professional and compassion...

I have taken my two cats here since they opened several years ago. The veterinarians and their staff are kind and gentle to my pets which lets me know that they truly like animals. They are thorough and follow-up on any problems they find. In addition to routine visits and immunizations, they have cared for one of my cats who was attacked by a raccoon (he has not been outside, except in the car, since) and neutered my other cat when he was a kitten. Both were rescues who simply wandered onto my property. My oldest cat is now 16 and the "kitten" is 6! Their Southtown facility is modern, spotless and set up to easily separate incoming pets. They are not inexpensive but they give excellent quality care with kindness and gentleness.

I treat my dogs and care for them just like most care for the children. I always want the absolute best for them regardless and I am very particular about the care and treatment they receive. I have had my dogs as 5 Corners Animal hospital for 3 1/2 years and prior to that I bounced around with places because I was not happy with the care my dogs received. I am completely happy with all the care my dogs have received from 5 Corners Animal Hospital. I have a Labrador Retriever who has some health issues and is there frequently. I can not say enough good things about the treatment he has received from Dr. Patti and the rest of the staff. He can be difficult at times and they have always handled him with the most respect, care, professionalism, and love. They are also very good with crazy over protective owners. I would highly recommends 5 Corners Animal Hospital to anyone who wants their animals to receive the best care along with love.
