This place is absolutely the best! We were recommended to them through Lollypop farm when adopting our first animal, and now they provide care for all three - our dog and two cats. They are extremely good at communicating, always kind, and love our animals so much. It’s clear every time we walk into the building. If you love your pet stay away from Canfield Animal Hospital. It took a week to get the medication for my cat because they were more concerned about making a profit from the sale of medication than getting the medication into my pet. They also failed to leave special food to be picked up during off hours. When asked why it wasn't put out, they said they were just too busy. Too busy. My cat had to be put down, who knows what the outcome could have been with timely medication and proper care. The vets don't work as a team - it was obvious that no attempt was made to stay informed of current treatment of my cat.

I am so pleased with every one of my visits at Canfield Vet. As you walk in, the staff greats you warmly and are very professional, minimizing you and your pet's stress level by usually putting you in a nice, quiet exam room right away. The veterinarians clearly love their patient's animals and are really knowledgeable which instills confidence that you're providing the best care possible for your baby. My vet, Dr. Pat Tolchin is kind, thoughtful and SO good at what she does and doesn't mind when you ask questions (you know she's heard them all!). Dr. Barry Brown takes great care of my husband's dog and I am equally impressed with his gentle nature and knowledge. If you're looking for a new vet, come see these guys!

Barry Brown has been our dog's vet for more than 10 years, and I can't say enough about Dr. Brown, his office, and his staff. We received the highest quality care, love, and support from the office, and I always felt that our dog was Dr. Brown's secret favorite, although I know he treats all of his pet patients in the same caring manner. We recently lost our dog unexpectedly; and we received a thoughtful card from Dr. Brown as well as flowers from his office. When we are ready, we'll get another pet, and we will head straight back to Canfield Vet!

I switched to Canfield when my vet joined the practice. This is an awesome practice. The doctors are all wonderful and clearly love the animals, even my difficult cat. The vet and the staff figured out the best way to keep her calm and relaxed for exams and procedures, and gave lots of helpful advice for managing her illness. The vet always clearly and carefully explains what's wrong and what the treatment options are. It's a bit of a drive from the city but TOTALLY worth it.

I used to go to the animal hospital in Pittsford, which was awful.. a friend of mine suggested me to try Canfield Vet and im so glad that I took her advice. The vet may be a little far but definitely worth the trip. The staffs are so friendly, knowledgeable and takes the time to work with me and my furkids. The office is cozy and warm,, Just a wonderful place to be!

If you love your pet stay away from Canfield Animal Hospital. It took a week to get the medication for my cat because they were more concerned about making a profit from the sale of medication than getting the medication into my pet. As you walk in, the staff greats you warmly and are very professional, minimizing you and your pet's stress level by usually putting you in a nice, quiet exam room right away. The veterinarians clearly love their patient's animals and are really knowledgeable which instills confidence that you're providing the best care possible for your baby.
