So incredibly sweet. My dog came in with three gashing wounds from another dog on his neck and they took the absolute best care of him. They even stayed with him throughout the night and came in early in the morning to make sure he was okay. Read Less

This hospital is an awesome place to come for your dogs and/or cats. The staff is courteous and very kind to any one that comes and they treat my dogs very nicely. The grooming that Diane does is very good and you could see the difference in my dog from before and after. Dr. Jaipal Rana is a very straight foward man and is very efficient in is work and knows the best for my dog in any situation. His prices are also fairly low and very reasonable. I recommend everyone to come to this hospital where everyone is welcoming and treat you and your pet with full respect. :) Read Less

I had a terrible experience with this incompetent veterinarian Dr. Jaipal Rana. He did a procedure on my dog and ended up cutting his rectum, which he noted in his records. Even worse they allowed his condition to deteriorate for a week under their supervision. My poor dog was alone in a cage suffering while his body was being poisoned by the feces that was entering his body through Dr. Rana's cut. When he was near death, Dr. Rana dropped him off at another hospital nearby. All this was going on while my family was on vacation and we knew nothing. They never even called to tell us what was going on. Please be wary of this Dr. Jaipal Rana of Woodbury Road Veterinary Hospital located in Plainview NY. Dr Jaipal Rana DVM also owns Animal Hospital of Long Island in Hempstead NY. I would strongly caution all pet owners to avoid both of these places. To those that are already a client, if he recommends a major or expensive procedure, make sure you get a second opinion. If your pet needs it, choose a more qualified veterinarian. Read Less

This vet Dr. Rana was the worst. If you care about the well being of your pet avoid this place at all cost. I only wish someone else had warned me before so my pet would not have suffered like he has. Don't be fooled by his concern and initial low cost. The first chance he gets he will advise a major unnecessary procedure and start over-charging. Please get a second opinion. Take a good look around at the facility. He will tell you he has performed 100's of the same procedure successfully. This is a lie. Please do not let him harm your pet due to his incompetence. My pet and I are proof of everything I'm telling you. I would never want to see another animal or their owner and family go through the suffering we have. We love our pet and will do whatever it takes to comfort him for the rest of his remaining life. I have proof in pictures and documents to back up everything that I state.
