I have the best vet and office staff!  They're friendly with me and my dog(s). Any questions/concerns I have, they answer & explain so you understand.  They are great with my dog(s).  When I had to put one of my dogs down, they explained everything and let me have as much time as I needed. Today I needed to get bottle of Tresaderm ear drops for Toby! He was shaking and itching his ears violently! Called office they were pretty insistent that I make appointment. I explained we were just their end of September for an Annual Check-up for a 190$. Asked if she could check with Vet! MD returned my call, stating medication would be at Desk. My husband was at the hospital earlier today with our cat, for what we assumed was a blockage. While the doctor we saw (Dr. Nemcheck) was lovely and attempted to help, she completely ignored and brushed off my husband's concern/suggestion of a blockage. He returned home with our cat at 6:30pm. Literally minutes ago a three inch long, extremely thick, black, hard as a rock, foul smelling blockage just fell out of our cat's rectum. Obviously she had a blockage, and I would like to know why the tests she ran showed that there was none. I have photos to prove it. I am extremely disappointed at such an oversight at what we assumed was a reputable vet. We never had problems with you guys before. Why now!? i wanted to leave this review because i have since moved to Austin and miss this vet terribly! I took my dogs here ( 2 cave) after searching and sampling many vets int eh area. Dr. N always remembered me, but more importantly my dogs. I never felt like i was getting suckered into things i didn't need.  My dogs had pups and she did a great job with all 7 of them, it was quick and easy. Also, my dog Roman was having some anxiety when i went on a trip and was liquid pooing  all over my house so bad he was lethargic. I brought him in and she gave him some meds and fluids and off we went for under 100 bucks. He also had a bump that had to be biopsied... due to it being possibly cancerous. And while it did cost 1,000 dollars which i still feel was kind of steep, it worked out that he was ok. And through the process they were kind and kept me up to date. Lastly, they give you these cards and keychains with the dates of the animals shots etc so its a reminder of when they are due but also it makes it a breeze when I need that info for a kennel, the airlines, or doggy day care. bottom line to me, great care, and i don't feel like a number. I've been taking my dog here for 15 years.  15 years.  That's a long time.  And I'm still coming back because this is a high-quality veterinary office!The staff is always kind and friendly.  The techs are very knowledgeable and the vets are some of the best in the field.  Dr. Korte is great with animals.  My dog has always been calm with him - and my dog was high strung in his younger years.  He has taken care of basic needs and has done some surgical procedures (removed a tumor and did dental work).  My dog has had great dental health since then, which is a great thing for their health as they get older.What I really like is that they are very concerned with your pets' well-being.  They explain all your options and give you their recommendations.  BUT if you decided not to do something, they don't make you feel guilty about it.  There have been times when I have not been able to afford a blood workup for my geriatric dog, but I have never been pressured to have it done anyway.I've never been elsewhere, so I can't say how the prices actually compare.  I think they may be a little more expensive than some other places, but I know that I am getting quality care for my pet.  And that's what is important for me.They also have an online pet portal available now.  You can request appointments online, get updates, and look at information through this portal.  I got my recent reminder via email this week, and it was great!  If you live on the west side (or even on the east side like I do) the drive is worth the care you get here. Really nice office, super friendly staff, and great vets. By far, the best vet experience we've had with our 2 dogs. I've never been to a vet where you didn't have to wait at least 10-15 minutes to actually get in, but they always seem to be running perfectly on time. My little dog had dental work done recently there, and got treated so well. They are also great about checking up after any procedures are done to make sure that your pet is doing well.Highly recommend this place! Read Less
