South Towne Veterinary Hospital

Rochester, New York
General Info
South Towne Veterinary Hospital in Rochester delivers routine healthcare alongside specialized treatments to support pets of all ages throughout New York. Healthcare professionals initiate appointments by examining daily routines alongside behavioral modifications and appetite variations while considering recent domestic difficulties. Veterinarians conduct physical examinations which involve assessing joint flexibility along with performing dental inspections while simultaneously evaluating skin and coat conditions and recording bodyweight measurements. This system enables the identification of symptoms that would remain undetected amidst hectic daily schedules. The scope of care may encompass vaccination protocols alongside deworming treatments combined with heartworm screenings and parasite prevention strategies. The clinic provides support for sophisticated medical requirements including X-rays and allergy therapy as well as nutrition coaching and chronic illness tracking. Veterinary professionals tackle frequent issues such as ear infections, sudden limping, and recurring stomach upset through a methodical process that relies on laboratory results together with physical observations. Families benefit from detailed records which enable them to track progress across time periods while also easing the movement between different treatment phases. Households with multiple pets find value in the clinic’s simultaneous care management which prevents any oversight. The scheduling of medication timelines and testing windows is modified according to household preferences. Pet owners in Rochester experience enhanced confidence through South Towne Veterinary Hospital's transparent practices. Each conversation concludes with a domestically implementable strategy that remains distinct and realistic. The clinic's emphasis on joint efforts and preparatory work guarantees essential pet care across New York at all life stages.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. G and the wonderful staff here at the hospital. If you own ferrets, you understand medical knowledge of them in Rochester is limited at best - and most often times its guessing and speculation as to effective treatment. That is not the case here - Dr. G and Dr. Scarpulla are not only extremely well educated, but also go out of their way to continuously study ferret health and the latest treatments available for them. I can't stress how amazing it is to have office staff who know you by name, pet, and even voice over the phone. They know exactly whats going on with your pet without having to access records, and will remember everything about you each time you see them. I have never been on hold for more than 30 seconds, and have always had the best interaction with all of them. They really get to know you here, and are long term staff - not constantly rotating interns or clerical. Aside from the immense knowledge of the doctors, they are the reason I will never be leaving this office. Other vets in the area have misdiagnosed and even killed our ferrets with lethal doses of medicine - however thanks to Dr G and staff we have enjoyed several more years with our little guys with proper treatment. That alone is something we can never repay them for. Read Less
