A friend's cat had the most terrible experience and treatment here. Had to go for attorney to settle down this issue. But the damage to the cat is irrevisible.

My baby kitty was sick. He couldn’t pee and poop and vomit multiple times. I took him to see Mario Vezza. Mario Vezza did all the tests including X-Rays, fecal, blood tests and finally told me my kitty had an upset stomach. And he sales me a prescription food and told me once I feed my kitty this food, I will never see him again. After that, he gave me a $1800+ bill. However, only after 2 weeks, my kitty has the same symptoms again. At this time I want to go to see another vet, since I doubt Mario Vezza’s professionalism. I want to get the X-Rays and test results I already paid from Mario Vezza. First day, he says he will send me tomorrow. Second day, he says his computer system is down. Third day, he says the printer is not working. Until now, I’ve got nothing. He makes all the excuses and refuses to give me the tests results. This is the worst vet I’ve ever seen. Don’t waste your money waste time to go to this hospital.

If I could give this doctor a 0 I would. I stupidly sent my step Dad in to get JUST a Rabbis shot and a tick spot looked at $600 later they gave my dog SO MUCH unnecessary drugs. They took my $80 tick...
If I could give this doctor a 0 I would. I stupidly sent my step Dad in to get JUST a Rabbis shot and a tick spot looked at $600 later they gave my dog SO MUCH unnecessary drugs. They took my $80 tick collar off I just bought a week ago and forced fed him Bravecto. Which I 100% did not want to give my dog considering it gives dogs seizures and MANY dogs have died from Bravecto. I got home from work to find out they took my tick collar off of him and gave him this drug without my knowledge or consent. This is disgusting and I would not recommend going here under any circumstance. They're like every other vet and doctor who force feeds drugs and unnecessary items on your dog. To end up with a vet bill you can barely paid.

Very caring educated and very current with vet medicine. My dogs love his staff and they too, are well educated and caring. I was living in Bayville and there is at least 6 other offices that are closer and along the way, yet I chose to drive to Roslyn for the trust I have in Dr Vezza and the staff. My dogs were never freaked out after their visit. I was happy that they were happy and healthy.!

The office and Dr. Vessa were great when I first started going to him compared to the other vets I had tried (we moved from Mich). However, recently I believe the practice has gone downhill....1. I dropped off my dogs stool samples for a test they said they would call me in 24 hrs. to give me the results; I called when I didn't hear anything and they rudely stated to me we would of called if something was wrong everything is fine; 2. he denied me a rx for heart worm medicine because he did not believe in using the online pharmacies so I had to use a heartworm medication that he carried, and 3. he would not give me my dogs vet records (I moved back to Michigan) unless I choose to pay $35. My dogs records were all of maybe 10 sheets. I loved him and his staff when I first started going to him, but unfortunately my love for them dissolved. Is he competent yes, caring appears to be, knowledgeable yes, but in the last few months he was unfriendly, cold, and flat out ridiculous for wanting to charge me for my vet records.

Mario Vezza did all the tests including X-Rays, fecal, blood tests and finally told me my kitty had an upset stomach. They took my $80 tick collar off I just bought a week ago and forced fed him Bravecto. Very caring educated and very current with vet medicine. My dogs love his staff and they too, are well educated and caring. I was living in Bayville and there is at least 6 other offices that are closer and along the way, yet I chose to drive to Roslyn for the trust I have in Dr Vezza and the staff. My dogs were never freaked out after their visit. I was happy that they were happy and healthy.!

The office and Dr. Vessa were great when I first started going to him compared to the other vets I had tried (we moved from Mich). However, recently I believe the practice has gone downhill....1.
