I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Jolie for years and would highly recommend her. I have read some of the negative reviews and can only say that I don't judge her by her office assistants (although I have never had a bad experience) but by the care and compassion that she shows for my pets. Her practice is small but I like that because she now knows my dogs well.

Stay away!. Made a call based on family recommendation, to inquire about a procedure for my cat, never been exposed to such ignorant behavior from a so called professional. The clueless and dopey receptionist failed to put me oh hold when she talked to so called Vet, I heard clearly that I "WAS being ridiculous " for even asking such a question. When the receptionist returned I immediately cut her off and informed her that I heard everything and would not now, or ever use their services, due to her ignorant behavior, I called another vet in the area, her competitor , and she was very kind, patient, and compassionate, solved al my problems and answered all my questions, even being aware that I was not a client..but Guess what , now I am a customer..

Dr. Jolie is an incredible vet. I adopted a rescue years ago who had been abused and had severe trust issues. Other vets dove into her space and threatened to muzzle her. Dr. Jolie sat on the floor and gave her time to get to know her.
Dr. Jolie is willing to listen to you. When you have concerns, she gets you right in. When meds aren't working, she reaches out to other Doctors (I'm wary of any Dr. who knows it all). She doesn't believe in over burdening the animals bodies with too many vaccines in one day. She will have you come back the following week (no added fee) just to take it easy on your pets body. She's more than willing to consider homeopathic options.
When the end was approaching, Dr. Jolie was there for us. She gave us our options and we were able to reach her when the time arrived.
I am grateful for the wonderful care she gave our girl and will return to her when we decide to adopt again.

Dr Jolie, Beth and Dominique took great care of my siamese cat over the past many years. When she clearly began failing (at 18), they all made sure to keep her comfortable until the time came when she was ready to go. When she was, it was done with sensitivity and compassion. Dr Jolie gave my dear cat a good extra year with expert veterinary care. I am grateful for all they did for us.

Podunk little clinic, scrounging off the fact that there isnt a whole lot of options around for people to choose from. Really sad when a business is allowed to be completely complacent because the customers dont have choices. Great for the business, sucks for the customer. Honestly if you are looking for skill in the trade, genuine care for your animals and yourself as the owner; it is worth the drive to go elsewhere.

Wonderful people. Dr. Jolie answered all my questions and addressed our concerns regarding vaccine reactions, and did a thorough exam the first time we were there. When it got close to the time for our booster appointment they called to remind us and asked if we had any other questions. They truly are compassionate and reassuring.

Love Dr. Jolie & her office. She is a wonderful vet, who truly cares about the animals. We have been taking our dog to her for regular care since we adopted him from a rescue organization. We have also been able to have same day appointments, when needed. The office is small, but I like that because there are not lots of animals lined up waiting to be seen. You are seen promptly and she spends as much time as needed with your pet. Her prices are very reasonable and her entire staff is friendly, animal-loving and efficient. Thanks for the great service Dr. Jolie!

Do not judge a book by its cover. This is a small private practice but Dr Jolie is amazing. She is compassionate , uses latest techniques and compounded meds and takes her time with each pet. My three dogs do very well here. My former vet practice in the DC area was a huge hospital and very good but cost me three times as much. The staff is like family and we think they are great.

I brought my two kittens here to get their rabies vaccines and for a general check-up. I was overwhelmed by the smell as soon as I walked in. Of course vet offices are going to smell a bit like animal...
I brought my two kittens here to get their rabies vaccines and for a general check-up. I was overwhelmed by the smell as soon as I walked in. Of course vet offices are going to smell a bit like animals but this place seemed really dirty. The reception area of the office is tiny and dirty, with clutter everywhere and a very loud bird that scared my kittens half to death. I checked in with the (very odd/socially awkward) receptionist/assistant, and waited a little bit for Dr. Jolie. She was nice enough and seemed competent, but the assistant seemed to have no idea what he was doing, and the whole visit seemed very unorganized. At the end when I asked Dr. Jolie for a recommendation for cat food brands, she gave me a five-page list of dog foods with grades next to them. Um, not helpful. I decided to get the kittens spayed at my old vet in Connecticut, preferring to drive them two hours away than to go back to Hearthstone. When I called the office to have their records faxed over, the same strange receptionist seemed very confused by what I was asking. He took my number "in case he couldn't figure it out," but I never heard from him so I assumed everything was ok. When I brought the kittens in to get spayed today, lo and behold my (fantastic) vet in CT hadn't received the records a full 24 hours later. Bottom line: I'm sure there are much better vets in Saratoga. Hearthstone is not worth any money you may save.
