I don't know that I would recommend them. Less than a year ago, my female husky was spayed through this hospital. here. Today, at this moment, my intact male is driving the entire family (not to mention the poor dog) absolutely insane because he will not stop his biting, mounting, poking, pushing behavior towards her. He is obsessed with her, panting, tongue lolling out. Obviously, he smells something that is driving this behavior. She has no infections so I have to think that the vet who did the surgery left a small amount of ovarian tissue in her. Very disappointed.

I was very impressed with this office. I found them also using a Friends of Animals certificate. When I called with questions, I spoke with Linda who was very professional and informed me of all their policies. I was told upon making the appointment, I was also going to be charged $55. Nothing was a surprise. Today, we brought my cat to be neutered. Everyone in the office was kind and answered all our questions. I was given options regarding blood work, micro chipping, etc. All the prices were spelled right out, again, no surprises. The vet was as sweet as she could be. We received a call a few hours later saying he was fine, resting comfortably and we could pick him up in a couple of hours. As we picked him up, we were given pain meds, all the paperwork and after care instructions. I highly recommend this office to everyone. I only wish we lived closer as I would definitely use them for our regular vet. Thanks to Friends of Animals and thanks to Glenville Vets for making the day so much less stressful!!

This that has two exceptional small pet animals, and everyone there is very good even if they do some other larger animals. They have helped me find some very out of the ordinary treatments including taking a elderly cat 100 miles to get radiation treatment which let the cat Live to 15.
Obviously the best equipment and the best vets are not inexpensive, but if you care enough to go to the best you will not find anyone better in less than a hundred miles.

This practice has cared for my pets for many years. You only pay for what you choose to have done for your pet. All of my pets have been neutered/spayed there. It's nice to be offered options, I would say do your homework before your vet visit and make the best choices for your pet. People can not expect all inclusive prices for pets when every situation varies.

We have been bringing our pets to the Glenville Veterinary Clinic for years. Drs. Bart and Karen Forlano and the other vets and staff are the most competent, caring and kind folks you could ever hope to meet.More than once we have had the sad reality of having to make the decision to end the pain of an aging or sick "pet family member". Last week, our beloved cat of 19 years had to make that journey. Dr. Bart, who knew our Shadow well, allowed us to hold her in our arms, wrapped in her blanket, while he gently administered the dose (on his hands and knees!). Tell me where you find dedicated professionals like that?I cannot give a higher rating than 5 stars, but I would if I could.

I used the Friends of Animals Spay and Neuter Certificate at this location at the recommendation of my own vet. Unfortunately, this low cost program, intended to help promote spaying and neutering, serves as the vehicle that this clinic uses to lure in customers while they benefit from hidden fees. These fees are not disclosed over the phone but on the morning of the procedure after your pet has not eaten and you have arrived for surgery. The total charge is more than the cost would have been at my own vet. I had seriously considered evaluating this clinic for a possible switch, but will definitely not be returning here at all.

Dr Bart has been the most caring friend and vet to our dogs that we have ever met. If you're looking for someone who will get right down on the floor and spoil your pet with affection then Dr Bart is your guy. It's extremely comforting to see how much he loves animals and shares such compassion just as if your pet is his pet too.
My wife and I were extremely saddened when we moved away and had to try find a new office to care for our dogs. Even since we've moved away we've received very touching messages from Dr Bart checking in to see how our girls our doing. I highly recommend Glenville Veterinary to anyone who wants extra special care for their four legged family members.

I must disagree with the previous comments. Although I am no longer a customer of Glenville Clinic due to moving south, I entrusted the care of my dear cocker spaniel to Drs. Bart and Karyn Forlano. I was treated with respect, and my cocker was ALWAYS happy to go to the Vet. I boarded her when I went on short vacations. She loved it. When she grew older and had signs of illness, Dr. Bart Forlano was amazing! He ALWAYS sat on the floor with her because she didn't like standing on the exam table. This time was different, because she crawled right up in his lap and laid down. Exams and testing later showed she had kidney failure and the best choice was to put her to sleep. I stood there and cried and cried, because she was my "heart" and companion. Dr. Forlano wanted to know if I wanted to hold her during the process, and I said no. I was too scared that I would truly fall apart. So, he promised to hold her himself. Later, I asked the girls at the desk if he ever does anything like that, and they all said, "not that they know of." He also sent me a sympathy card, and donated to the Emergency Clinic in Latham in memory of Lady. In all my years, I've never had a vet so in tune with my animals, and so in tune with me. I miss both Dr. Forlanos. The only saving grace is that I'm now living in North Carolina and would have to pay an expensive "pet deposit" and pet rent to the complex that I live in..... and it would be a long drive to Glenville! :-) Oh ..... and ANY Vet you go to is expensive. I didn't find Glenville's prices to be out of this world!

We love Glenville Vet!!! All of the staff is SO friendly, and they know our two dogs by name - in the office, and in public. You can't get that anywhere else. They have always taken such good care of our pups. To the commenter who gave one star because they couldn't get you in because you were a new patient - do you expect to call just any doctor or dentist and have them get you in as a new patient on the same day? No, you would go to urgent care. It's the same idea, they are busy! If my dog ate a frog and couldn't move his legs, instead of calling a vet I've never seen before, my dog would have been rushed to the emergency vet - just as a person would go to urgent care if they weren't a patient at the doctors office.

We're new to the area. We found Burnt HIlls Vet to be too pricey, and a neighbor recommended Glenville. This morning, my Jack Russell is sick and can't move his back legs after an evening of playing with frogs, so I called Glenville. Despite him being seriously ill, Glenville wouldn't see him for 2 weeks because he's a "new patient'. So I guess we stick with Burnt Hills. Way to lose customers, Glenville.

I can not speak highly enough about them! This place is absolutely fantastic!! I recently moved to the area and established my dog with their office and had him neutered yesterday. Every one of the staff have been fantastic, and have followed up with at every step of the way. What I love is that the Doctor himself is the one that called me to tell me how my dog did, and then gave me his personal cell phone number in case I had any problems after hours. Then they followed up with me again today, and told me that they'll follow up tomorrow too because he had some swelling that they were concerned with. A1 service! Thank you to everyone in the office!!!! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!

They did an excellent job on my best friend Chino my old English bulldog Dr Bart is the best removed growth on my dogs foot which was very very intricate because of the nerves and tendons and use of his paw and the growth had roots very deep and it wasn't an easy surgery and he also operated on a growth on Chino's eye. It looks like you never had nothing done to it his eye looks perfect it looks just like the other one. We've been taking our dogs there for 15 years they are the best. And if you love your dogs like I love mine they deserve the best and that is what you will get at Glenville Veterinary Clinic. God bless dr. Bart thank you and all the staff. It's a great environment. You will love the experience I promise you..

I don't know that I would recommend them. Less than a year ago, my female husky was spayed through this hospital. here. Today, at this moment, my intact male is driving the entire family (not to mention the poor dog) absolutely insane because he will not stop his biting, mounting, poking, pushing behavior towards her. He is obsessed with her, panting, tongue lolling out. Obviously, he smells something that is driving this behavior. We have been bringing our pets to the Glenville Veterinary Clinic for years. Drs. Dr Bart has been the most caring friend and vet to our dogs that we have ever met. If you're looking for someone who will get right down on the floor and spoil your pet with affection then Dr Bart is your guy. It's extremely comforting to see how much he loves animals and shares such compassion just as if your pet is his pet too.

They have always taken such good care of our pups. To the commenter who gave one star because they couldn't get you in because you were a new patient - do you expect to call just any doctor or dentist and have them get you in as a new patient on the same day? No, you would go to urgent care. It's the same idea, they are busy! If my dog ate a frog and couldn't move his legs, instead of calling a vet I've never seen before, my dog would have been rushed to the emergency vet - just as a person would go to urgent care if they weren't a patient at the doctors office.

We're new to the area. We found Burnt HIlls Vet to be too pricey, and a neighbor recommended Glenville. This morning, my Jack Russell is sick and can't move his back legs after an evening of playing with frogs, so I called Glenville. Despite him being seriously ill, Glenville wouldn't see him for 2 weeks because he's a "new patient'. So I guess we stick with Burnt Hills. Way to lose customers, Glenville.

I can not speak highly enough about them! This place is absolutely fantastic!! I recently moved to the area and established my dog with their office and had him neutered yesterday. Every one of the staff have been fantastic, and have followed up with at every step of the way. What I love is that the Doctor himself is the one that called me to tell me how my dog did, and then gave me his personal cell phone number in case I had any problems after hours. Then they followed up with me again today, and told me that they'll follow up tomorrow too because he had some swelling that they were concerned with. A1 service! Thank you to everyone in the office!!!! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!

They did an excellent job on my best friend Chino my old English bulldog Dr Bart is the best removed growth on my dogs foot which was very very intricate because of the nerves and tendons and use of his paw and the growth had roots very deep and it wasn't an easy surgery and he also operated on a growth on Chino's eye. It looks like you never had nothing done to it his eye looks perfect it looks just like the other one. We've been taking our dogs there for 15 years they are the best. And if you love your dogs like I love mine they deserve the best and that is what you will get at Glenville Veterinary Clinic. God bless dr. Bart thank you and all the staff.
