Dr. Diane provided professional, skillful care of our ram, who was limping badly. Besides trimming his feet and cleaning the affected areas, she administered antibiotic and gave clear instructions for us to follow up. This is the best vet I have ever been to. There hearts are truly for the animals. I was referred he by my mother when our oldest cat got sick. I called in the morning and got a some day apt on a Saturday. It was the first time he was there. He had to stay there for treatment but  Dr. Diane called me every day (it was the weekend) to tell me how he was. They even let me pay off the bill in 3 or 4 payments. Dr. Biederman, several years ago took great care of my cat and allowed me to spend extra time with her, after her cancer was overlooked by an Albany County vet. However, lately, the long wait time (half hour) at the front desk when simply trying to pickup pet food is just unreal. I called last Friday so I could get an appointment for my cat, who has been having health issues. It was 5pm. The clinic was supposedly open until 6pm according to Google, but I got an answering machine. I left a message with my name and number asking for an evening appointment for this week. I have been taking my dog to the clinic ever since they opened. The doctors & staff are always pleasant & knowledgeable & will take the time to answer any questions I might have concerning my dog Soda. I always get reminders when she is due for any shots, tests or just routine checkups which is a blessing since I am always forgetting when Soda is due for anything. About two years ago we needed to find a new vet after moving.  I asked friends and this vet office was recommended.  At the time our dog was about 10 and we had a 1 year old cat and three kittens.  I took the four cats in together for an office visit.  Office staff were friendly and helpful, vet techs were awesome, and Dr. Diane was the absolute best!  We took our dog for her visit later - again, Dr. Diane was awesome and everyone there was friendly and helpful.  We've had our pets there for about two years now.  They are so very helpful every time we call with an issue.  They are conscious of the costs of having so many pets and do their best to minimize cost whenever possible without minimizing pet care.  We've never had to wait an excessive amount of time to be seen, we've never had anything but wonderful experiences with this office!  Dr. Diane did the spays on all three of our kittens and did a wonderful job.  I can't think of a single thing I don't love about this veterinary clinic or the staff.  There is only one other review that is extremely negative, and I can't imagine how that person had such a negative experience.  For two years we've never had anything but wonderful treatment for our fur-babies and dealings with courteous, helpful staff.  When my friends recommended this office, their descriptions were just as positive.  We LOVE the Schoharie Valley Veterinary Clinic!! Desk help at the front, terrible, never been treated that bad before.They should have nice people to greet and work with clients. Would never go Back again.
