I am not happy with their care at all. When I took my dog there for blood work it took several days before I got a phone call with the results, but this was expected. What I didnt expect was what happened after that call. Before ending the call with Dr Johnson, I requested a hard copy of lab work & the treatment because I couldn't write it all down and it was troubling news to digest. All I wanted were the names of the meds, the dosage, what they were for and the cost. Well, it took 11 days and multiple phone calls to finally get the report which I needed for use in consultation with my breeder and maybe 2nd opinion / another vet. Dr Johnson had the nerve to say he tried to call me previously and that he left the report at the front desk. Little did he realize the report finally received was time stamped 15 mins before I got. I told him in this day and age not one call showed up on my voice mail, caller id or phone records. Then it took several days to finally get the medication, which further delayed my dogs care and I ended up telling him " Delayed Care equals No Care" When I called asking for meds, Dr Johnson wasnt in, and Dr Brown wouldn't submit the scripts on my behalf. His response was that Dr Johnson was the only one that could call in the antibiotics and other meds. I have never experienced being denied care/scripts from being called in after the treating Physician has ordered it, any any other Dr/PA/Receptionist will do it without hesitation. This makes me believe the chart and meds weren't written down or made available. Another several days went by and I came in for another visit (no post care phone calls from Vet) and I explained my dogs symptoms- lack of eating, etcAnother several days goes by and I had to call Dr Johnson and inform him that my dog isnt eating. He says we could give her an appetite stimulant and I'm floored, and say "why wasn't I told this before when I mentioned this very problem multiple times previously." My pet may have had a fighting chance if she had started her meds sooner, was offered the one script to make her want to eat, but everything was so late. Maybe a followup phone call or two could have made a difference in careWell my poor girl died shortly therafter and I never heard from the office since that last visit. I recommend to any pet owner to question any advice, demand test results to be furnished immediately, get their prescriptions when promised, and dont let the vetdrag their feet after you advocate on behalf of your pet conveying their symptoms to let them spiral without intervention.
