Complete sham and disregard for human beings let alone inconsiderate for animals they claim to be professionals of....please read all reviews, as the lower stars are 100% accurate. I have been going there for 10+ years; mind you, they are quick with scheduling appointments and fast response time, but it took me many years to realize this is because the entire practice is money-grubbing one-focus type outfit. I can say this from many experiences when in need of both pets actively dying they turned me away (one instance because they were going home at 445pm “closing in 15 minutes”), have provided services I refused or never asked for, lied about charges, lied about prescriptions needed and provided, charged for visits and “services rendered” with staff that is completely uneducated and have a lack of caring it makes me sick to my stomach. Please understand I am not an obsessive unrealistic pet owner but I can promise any future interest you have in this clinic will be regret and An I Told You So.... Beware!... run and run fast away from this place!!!!

Doesn't RecommendKhaleesa D.Took my fear aggressive dog to mattydale hospital for the first time. They didn't want me to be with her during the exam so I went to the waiting room. When they brought my dog out, they informed me that during the exam she ripped out one of her nails trying to get the muzzle off. No problem, accidents happen. What really angered me is that they then prescribed antibiotics and charged ME for it!!! You would think they would offer them free considering this happened on THEIR watch. I consider this poor business etiquette and will probably not return. 20 dollars for antibiotics that I'm sure did not cost them anywhere near that!!

I live very close too MAH. But sometimes convenience isn't always best...I really didn't care for it there..they basically charge you for things that your animal may not even need. But when they want...

But when they wanted $52 dollars too cut my 2 Chiauahas nails...I new I was being hustled. My furbabies have a new Veterinarian and they are healthy and happy and I still have a little dough in my pocket.

Beyond belief that anyone would not understand that an emergency takes precedence over the regularly scheduled appointments...shame on all of you. I have experienced the same and have enough compassion to be more concerned for the animal in need and wait. Noone's time is more valuable than the life of an animal.
I am in rescue and have used this vet for decades....even before Dr L and Dr W....they have seen countless dogs and have worked with me on alternative methods and allowed for thorough, progressive research.
Fees? I have even shopped around and the pricing is consistent with those in the area.
I am a well seasoned dog person and experienced in German Shepherds...wont go anywhere else....
I am very thankful for all they do...

I told her not to clip my dogs nails without me present because she cries horribly when I'm not there. She took her in the back for blood work and came out laughing 'you weren't kidding, she does cry' then the nurse or whoever checked me out was so atrociously rude I demanded my money back for the meds I received. I've NEVER BEEN so disgusted with my service at any place before. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I have been at MAH since it was opened by Dr. Wester. Drs. Taylor, King and Leskevich have all run that hospital with the highest degree of professionalism.
Veterinarian medicine has evolved and with it comes the same problems as humans face with how much treatment are we willing to order and pay for. They have never done a test without asking me and at some point I wish they had said I should let go--I admit that I now find it easier to make those decisions.
The front office has had problems over the years, but those folks are gone.
MAH has the best vets and techs and I have no reservations taking pets there.

This animal hospital treats exotics--which is the only reason I go there. They overcharge and will give animals various treatments without consulting you first. I had one vet tell me that my cat's ears were clean on the inside, but she'd give the ears a "rinsing" anyway. When I got the bill they charged $28 for an ear cleaning I didn't need.
If you want a prescription from this vet, forget it. My cat needs a special diet--and for every case you buy online you need a new prescription. Mattydale charges $13 for each prescription you get. I'd be paying $150 a year for PERMISSION to buy my cat special food online.
They gave me the wrong dosage of antibiotics for my chinchilla, which ended up playing a large role in his death.
If you don't have exotics, find a better vet. Even for exotics--this is probably not the place to go.

I have been taking my 3 dogs here for a little over a year now, and they have been professional, courteous, and the wait times were not long. They have been GREAT! Im a bit of a worrier, but they put my mind at ease.

Dr. Wallace cared for our first dog (who has since passed) and now our second. She's compassionate and thorough with our dogs, and she takes time to answer questions and concerns.

I've never had such HORRIBLE SERVICE. I went there on a good recommendation, but I did not get the good things I heard about. The doctor was rude and belittling. I told her not to clip my dogs nails without me present because she cries horribly when I'm not there. She took her in the back for blood work and came out laughing 'you weren't kidding, she does cry' then the nurse or whoever checked me out was so atrociously rude I demanded my money back for the meds I received. I've NEVER BEEN so disgusted with my service at any place before. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I have been at MAH since it was opened by Dr. Wester. Drs. Taylor, King and Leskevich have all run that hospital with the highest degree of professionalism.
Veterinarian medicine has evolved and with it comes the same problems as humans face with how much treatment are we willing to order and pay for. They have never done a test without asking me and at some point I wish they had said I should let go--I admit that I now find it easier to make those decisions.
The front office has had problems over the years, but those folks are gone.
MAH has the best vets and techs and I have no reservations taking pets there.

This animal hospital treats exotics--which is the only reason I go there. They overcharge and will give animals various treatments without consulting you first. I had one vet tell me that my cat's ears were clean on the inside, but she'd give the ears a "rinsing" anyway. When I got the bill they charged $28 for an ear cleaning I didn't need.
If you want a prescription from this vet, forget it. My cat needs a special diet--and for every case you buy online you need a new prescription. Mattydale charges $13 for each prescription you get. I'd be paying $150 a year for PERMISSION to buy my cat special food online.
They gave me the wrong dosage of antibiotics for my chinchilla, which ended up playing a large role in his death.
If you don't have exotics, find a better vet. Even for exotics--this is probably not the place to go.
