We took in a stray that was starving and freezing to discover she was not fixed. Our regular vet was booking four months out to spay cats. They recommended SANS. They got her in within two weeks. It was a bit of a wait to get her checked in that morning, but I requested we be able to pick her up early because we were from out of town. They had her ready to go early like we requested, she was wide awake and active. The next day she is back to her normal self, that can be a bit of a problem because she needs to take it easy and isn't. But they are a great place to take your pet to be fixed. I took my cat Manfred here to get him fixed and up to date. They were polite, organized, and made sure I understood exactly what to do for post visit care. They called to let me know he was ready far faster then I had expected and there were quite a few pets being dropped off that morning. Just about killed my dog a week an a half ago had to bring her to the emergency vet for internal bleeding was told if they don't treat her she will bleed out the day of her surgery...... and when asked to be reimbursed for at least a percentage of the emergency bill they decided it wasn't appropriate when the emergency vet told us directly that the bleeding was indeed from a complication from her surgery NOT impressed don't bring any of your animals here they care about your business and nothing else not even the health of your pet !!! Oh and they never followed up on our dog knowing that she had spent a whole day at the emergency hospital due to their wonderful job but even worse the place that fixed her and actually took the time to their job right called up and followed up with us twice since. I got my 1 year old Cocker Spaniel spayed through SANS and couldn't have afforded it through a vet. The staff was beyond pleasant and accommodating, I also seen the hands on care as I was leaving and knew I was leaving my puppy in good hands. I have had three of my cats spayed and neutered there and it was excellent. The people were very nice, the care was phenomenal, my cats did not have any issues at all and the price was amazing. I would have never been able tp get my cats spayed and neuteres had ot not been for them. I 100% reccomend them to everyone and every time i need a cat spayed or neutered im going to use them best customer service skills and i was very happy with my experiance. Thank God for SANS! I have spent my life rescuing cats on a very limited Social Security income. The flea treatment and neuter and spay services have allowed me to help cats that I never could have afforded to help. The Peace of mind to know that I can get help that I can afford for my, "throw away" kitties is worth so much to me. I had all 3 of my cats spayed and neutered and they did an excellent job! They were only 1.5 yrs old and 7 months old. One of the female cats incision started to come open and the clinic gave me and oral antibiotic to give her twice a day and told me to put a warm compress on the incision, it healed completely in just a matter of days! My cats are now, 12 and 14 yrs old. I highly recommend them! Read Less

They killed my 5 month old 5 pound kitten after overdosing him on sedatives. We took Drake in to get neutered and about an hour before they closed we received a call telling us that his heart had stopped beating and instead of working to save his life they decided to call me and ask if I wanted him resuscitated when I had already checked yes in the paperwork. When we got there he was the last cat to have gotten operated on and it became clear to us that they were too concerned with their closing duties to give him the proper care. They allowed us to go in the back where he was on oxygen and the facility was dirty and the workers were impatient. We asked them what could be done and they were extremely negative, blaming Drake for not surviving the cocktail of sedatives that they had given him. I then asked one of the ladies how we were going to transport him to the emergency hospital in E Syracuse to which she responded, "we have no idea, we didn't think you would want to take it that far." Uhm what?! He's apart of our family of course we are going to do anything in our power to save him. After I told her this she called the hospital and told them that she had been working on three cats at a time, gave Drake his sedative and focused her attention on the other two cats. She overdosed him on his sedative which made his heart stop beating and was not even aware of it until she had finished up with the other cats. We don't know how long he was like that because when we asked she said she did not know. We trusted them with our Drake, our baby boy, only to have his precious life taken away from us. We asked that they keep him on oxygen in the hopes he would wake up, they said they would give him 30 more minutes (keep in mind that they were closing and he was the last cat). After 30 minutes they pressured us into making a decision and, after realizing we couldn't afford the hospital, we chose to take him home and pray for a miracle. We told them to take everything off of him and as they were doing that, another worker came over with the intention of euthanizing him having the needle drawn and everything. My stepfather was mortified and demanded that they stop all the while the workers are telling us that we should get going. No remorse, no intentions of saving him past their closing time, nothing. As we were leaving, Drake wrapped in a blanket unaware of what was happening, unresponsive to the environment, the ladies did not even issue us an apology, only guessing that he would live for another hour because I guess that's just what a grieving family wants to hear. We also had to go back for our refund and after it was refunded, one lady had the audacity to tell us to leave a voicemail and let her know when he passes because she was "curious". We dropped him off a healthy, playful kitten and drove home a comatose, dying kitten only to have him pass in our arms hours later. Please, I urge you to go to a different vet center. I know the price is attractive but the quality and the way the vets were working on him and the others was like a conveyer belt, they kicked it into autopilot and were careless and sloppy. He was a 5 pound kitten... how much sedative did they give him to make him slip into a coma? They do not care about your animals, as we were leaving one worker tried to say something but didn't even know what his name was as if he meant nothing to her, and as if she felt no regret for what they had done to our baby. I would highly recommend SANS! They did a great job, a couple weeks out and we have had no issues at all. I'm so happy to see programs like this, it was super expensive to do the procedure at our regular vet. They were very patient with my dog who has some behavior issues. Read Less

We needed to get our 1 year old cat spayed. My husband contacted SANS and they got us on the schedule and said if they had an opening they'd call us. We ended up just keeping the appointment because my husband was working out of town at the time and we couldn't make any of the earlier times. They called us to let us know how she did! Kitten never recovered from spay surgery after two weeks. She ended up with an infection, she was anemic, losing weight, her incision reopened internally and she had to be put down. The deal isn't worth it for house pets. Spend the extra money and get it done at the vet where conditions are much more sanitary. Trust me. Read Less

So far very unpleased called 3 weeks ago to scedual a apointment cause of my work scedual i have to take off 2 weeks in advanced had it all set for tomaro even got the call making sure i was coming and everything was fine.. then i got a call saying the doctor is now out tomaro and they can only do it friday or id have to wait till the end of october.... like i cant change my scedual now and they acted like they didnt even care to work with me.. who does that in a perfessional business how do you only have 1 doctor for 1 and u shouldnt do this the night before the apointment or at all honestly... now its messing with my job and life should have went somewhere else!!!!!!!
