I brought my 6 week old pitbull terrier in due to loose foul smelling diarrhea, He was immediately seen and diagnosed with pravo. A common but ( deadly disease if not treated) found commonly in his breed. The staff was so kind and reassuring to me that my pup would be just fine. Needless to say (Porter ) thats my pup's name stayed two nights for treatment and observations. Staff called and sent me pictures to update me on Porter's progress and conditions. I couldn't have brought him to a better place. The Doctors and staff are so efficient. This is why I chose Brighton Eggert Animal Clinic to be my pup's primary vet. Thank you so much for the tender loving care you gave to Porter. He's now a healthy 7 week old happy pup. Read Less

Recently one of my dogs was sick and being the weekend we couldn't see her so we saw Dr. Rand and he is wonderful! He went above and beyond and stepped in and took care of my baby Rigatoni and has been so wonderful. He truly cares about my dog and has included Dr. Sinclair with everything going on with my boy knowing how much we love her and she knows are history. He has made my dogs surgery and care what I can only say is the best experience I have ever had! Everyone there has been so wonderful I can't thank all of you enough for all that you have done for Rigatoni! Thank you all!!!!!Read Less

Today I found my dog dying when I came home on my lunch break he had been dealing with congestive heart failure since last spring. We did everything we could to prolong his life Without letting him suffer. The staff and vet who helped us were more than kind, we were directed to a room with a couch that was very comforting. The vet explained everything to us and we were given all the time we needed with our beloved Louie before and after his passing. Thank you thank you thank you We were given his paw print in plaster as a keep sake no charge. Knowing this day would come sooner than later I was dreading the process and how things might go be assured that Brighton Eggert animal clinic is a wonderful place to take your pet and when the time comes you and your pet will be treated with respect and kindness I can't say enough about the reassurance we received and most of all my Louie was not scared and drifted off peacefully in my arms.Read Less

so I just got off the phone less than 20 minutes ago. wow. so apparently, if you're concerned your pet is dying do NOT expect everyone to care. if you feel your vet was fairly ambivalent and disregarding to your need for answers do not voice any of theses concerns. they will only be met with excuses of said vets behavior. when you're paying for 2 paw plans you barely use you really don't want to hear them talking about money more than they discuss your ailing furbaby. but, if you're okay with all this and enjoy the added bonus of having a receptionist actually raising her voice to speak over you and your concerns.... this is the place for you. This review is based on my most recent experience with this clinic. If I could give a 0/5 I would. I really did want to love this place. The facilities are nice, and everything appears optimal. Unfortunately, experience, personable staff, and knowledge are on the lower end of this location's spectrum. Despite records, recommendations via other boarding facilities, and others vouching for my animal, they concluded my 11 year old male cat was too "aggressive" to board. Now, whilst getting a shot, which he hates doing (like many animals), he was loud, but mainly was scared of the vets. Other than on a table for shots, he is a very lovable little (that one is subjective, as he's a big ball of fur) ball of fur. He's been boarded at least 10 times at another location with absolutely zero problems. He's never showed aggression, and actually was the boarding clinic's favorite animal to have. Their kids would bring him outside to play and they loved him. So, simply based on one doctor (who quite frankly, for some reason was particularly rude to me off the bat - for reasons unbeknownst to me - ) saying my cat was an aggressive cat, they cannot board him. I would love to bring him to the other location that was once his usual, but unfortunately it is 6.5 hours away. The worst part, you may ask? I scheduled this appointment nearly a month ago, and they just let me know all of this now. I leave for vacation in a week, for which I will be gone for 10 days. So, not only are they disrespectful, they have no grasp of the idea of punctual business practices. I will probably not be able to even take my vacation now, because simply, there isn't enough time for me to scramble to get a reservation at another place. This is my first vacation in two years. I really just wanted to love this place, but the amount of miscommunication and disrespect has turned it into quite a horrible experience. Also, to make matters worse, my father has talked to the place 3 times in a week (while I was at work, thank goodness for him). Not 3 days ago he was talking about this same exact situation and they said "We trust you know your animal, and if he's been boarded like that before, then it won't be a problem". I just received the "We can't board him because he's aggressive" call today. Back and forth with this place. I cannot comprehend how they have received such high marks online. What a terrible, terrible experience we have had. I only pray that others are treated with more professionalism than I have been. This isn't including the rudeness that was conveyed over the phone to me, as if I didn't know anything about my animal. I won't even get into that. Though, apparently, I am not the first to have a similar experience by reading the comments. It's really all just a shame. Either way, I wish future customers a better experience than I had.Read Less

Brighton Eggert Animal Clinic is just amazing. My family has been coming in for over 10 years for our four member clan. We have received nothing but the very best of care from the staff. They have ALWAYS been there when we needed them. During the summer of 2011, Jack, the youngest, became sick. My family had no idea what was wrong with him and were extremely worried. Dr. Miska (their primary doctor) immediately took control and after tests figured out what was wrong. Jack had high calcium levels. Since that time he’s been properly treated and regularly tested. In March 2013, my boys, Logan and Jack, were victims of food poisoning from Royal Canin. Apparently that has been going for a while and still sadly is. BEAC IMMEDIATELY took care of the boys. Logan was first but he recovered in a couple days. Jack sadly relapsed four times in two weeks, and was very touch and go. Dr. Miska once again took charge of the situation. A couple other doctors; Dr. Davies, Dr. Mahoney, and Dr. Barr (whose no longer there) also were involved. It was VERY touch and go. I almost lost my babies. If it wasn’t for God showing mercy and the amazing staff at BEAC, I could have. I love my babies more than anything in this world. It’s very comforting to know that BEAC, and their staff, especially Dr. Miska feel the same. Not too long after the food poisoning event Jack developed asthma. One time when I was trying to administer his inhaler Jack flipped out and went into a HUGE attack. I called BEAC and told them what was happening and I’d be right over. BEAC once again IMMEDIATELY took care of Jack as soon as we got there. He ended up being put in the oxygen chamber for a while too. This year, just recently in 2014, Jack ended up having toxic levels. Dr. Miska and Dr. Sondhi both have been helping take care of this issue. I owe BEAC everything. Jack is an extremely sensitive case. I appreciate EVERYTHING that they do to look after and care for my babies. Dr. Miska is an absolute angel. She has never given up on him. Brighton Eggert Animal Clinic will always have my family’s heart. I have recommend friends to them for their compassion and care, and will continue to do so. Everyone is so friendly and loving. I can not recommend them enough. If you want your furry babies to be loved, and be cared for like you care for them, come to BEAC. You’ll be very happy you did. Read Less

RUN DON'T WALK somewhere else. I was recommended by a so-called friend to go here. Took six, yes SIX different animals here. My cat had dental work; I was told the cat had a hard time coming out of the surgery and HE HAS NEVER BEEN RIGHT SINCE. I was told if you can't provide a urine sample,"no problem, we take the pet in the back, lay him on a table, hold him down and press on the bladder until he goes. We do it every day; all day long." The clerical staff was rude MORE THAN ONCE. It's true you never see the same vet twice and they COULDN'T CARE LESS. Just hand over all your money. I should have learned after the first issue - I guess I just wanted to believe there aren't people/vets out there like THIS! Read Less

I have read the reviews below and am shocked at the negative reviews. My family has taken our pets here since I was a kid. I now have 3 dogs who are my family, my life. Two of my dogs have gone there since I got them 11 years ago. My other pup is 10, but was about 4 when I got her. She is my frequent flyer to the vets, as she has degenerative and chronic health issues. The receptionists are always friendly. My average wait before I am seen is about 20 minutes. The vets I see always take the time to explain and answer any of my questions, I do not feel rushed. They send out surveys often to ensure the best service and experience possible. I do have a few favorite doctors, one in particular who I normally see when I take in my frequent flyer. Dr. Mahoney knows each of my dogs by name. I know she cares about my animals, which is why I go there. Expensive, I don't know. I called other vets offices and found that the fee to walk in the door is more expensive at other vets vs. Brighton Eggert Animal Clinic, although I did not call them all. Nor did I compare medicines or service charges, so I am not sure how expensive they may or may not be. They now offer a service to assist with costs for routine visits and have information about pet insurance. My experience has been excellent for all of these years, which is why I had to write a review. My pups are my life and I want the best care for them. Read Less

Read Less
