Dozens of pets thru my many years, MANY vets. Never have I found a vet more knowledgeable or more caring. Dr Scott has a fantastic staff and, btw, have also Never had my pets live longer, healthier lives. Noted a couple of less than pleased reviews. All I can say it, they are woefully mistaken. I happen to be a licensed HC professional, I know excellence of care when I see it

I have had many pets over the years and have been to numerous Vets, but I have to say that Wading River Veterinary Hospital is truly the best. The care they give your pets is not like any other place I have been to on Long Island. My pets see Dr. Scott who is just amazing. He is not only knowledgeable but he is kind and patient. He really listens and cares about every animal he treats. His staff is also wonderful and caring, and they are the friendliest people you could want to talk with while you're waiting for you pet to be seen. No matter how busy they are they always take the time to greet you and ask about you and your pet. I would not trust any other place with the care of my animals. Unfortunately, one of my cats was too sick to save, but Dr. Scott, and his very caring staff did everything to help him and help me get through this very difficult time. Dr. Scott will provide you with every option possible for the treatment of your pets, and explain everything as many times as you need it to be explained to you. I can't say enough about this amazing place and the amazing people who work here. If your pets are part of your family like mine are, then this is the place you need to take them. I am very grateful they are so close to home.

Wading river Veterinary hospital has an exceptional Veternarian and staff on board. I googled a Close to home location and they popped up on my search. I called to make my first visit with my Miniature Dachshund and they were very helpful. They walked me through the steps to get her ready for her first appointment and what to expect. They requested a fresh stool sample, proof of any vaccinations given and we talked about pricing over the phone prior to our visit. They require a leash on your pet at all times and it made me feel very comfortable that they let me know all of this beforehand. I brought in my puppy and I was welcomed by the front desk staff. When it was time for her checkup I was directed into one of their rooms by their assistants, I placed my pup on the table to have her weighed and they immediately began building a loving relationship with my puppy. They answered any and all of my questions, provided all the necessary vaccinations and gave me multiple suggestions for grooming, training, food choices, and flea & tic prevention ( which is a huge concern for living on Long Island ). My puppy's life is in good hands with Doctor Scott!

I used Wading River Veterinary Hospital for many years. I was extremely pleased with the treatment and care I received from the doctors and their staff. My wonderful lab, Clyde, developed cancer three times, and was kept alive and happy for many years due to Dr. Dubato. We've also had to have animals put down, and the doctors and staff were extremely supportive. The only reason I don't use them anymore is because we moved to Pennsylvania.

I just want to say how much I love WRVH! They all go above and beyond to help with our fur babies..... especially Dr. Scott Dubato and Tina. My hubby, daughter and I can not thank you all for everything you have and continue to do for us. Hearts have been heartbroken in a 7 months period time with two of our senior dogs passing of two different cancers. WRVH was wonderful to us through the entire process from beginning to end. Thank you all at WarVH so much!

This guy is a con artist his son is even worse just got out of Vet school and hates animals. He is in it for the money. He will suck you dry if you let him. He gave my dog tests that were unnecessary like a cardiogram that cost 300 bucks and when he told me my dog had no heart disease I asked: what If he had hear disease? His response: well there's nothing we could do but at least you would know. His father insisted on my large breed dog getting a lime disease shot against my wishes, because I was told by another bet that One of the side effects was cancer. Dr Dabatto insisted so like a moron I allowed it and guess what my dog got bone cancer and died a horrible death. My advise is to stay away from these quaks they only care about money they could give a damn about animals!!! are written by staff now here's a real review:

I've been using Wading River Veterinary Hospital since it opened. The entire staff is friendly, and professional. They care for my pets as if they were their own. I have also recommended them to family and friends. On of my friends travels from Centereach to use Doctor Scott and Doctor George DuBato. She would never take her dog anywhere else. They are simply the best!

After our 13 yr old Lab had a seizure, we called the WR Vet Hospital. They were very accomodating and we were able to bring our dog in right away. Dr. Scott DuBato, examined our dog, was very kind and knowledgeable. He explained medically what was wrong and made sure we understood everything completely. The staff was wonderful too. I would highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital to anyone. The care and concern are exceptional!

I have had many pets over the years and have been to numerous Vets, but I have to say that Wading River Veterinary Hospital is truly the best. The care they give your pets is not like any other place I have been to on Long Island. My pets see Dr. Scott who is just amazing. He is not only knowledgeable but he is kind and patient. He really listens and cares about every animal he treats. His staff is also wonderful and caring, and they are the friendliest people you could want to talk with while you're waiting for you pet to be seen. No matter how busy they are they always take the time to greet you and ask about you and your pet. I would not trust any other place with the care of my animals. I used Wading River Veterinary Hospital for many years. I was extremely pleased with the treatment and care I received from the doctors and their staff. My wonderful lab, Clyde, developed cancer three times, and was kept alive and happy for many years due to Dr. Dubato. We've also had to have animals put down, and the doctors and staff were extremely supportive. The only reason I don't use them anymore is because we moved to Pennsylvania.

Dr. Scott DuBato, examined our dog, was very kind and knowledgeable. He explained medically what was wrong and made sure we understood everything completely. The staff was wonderful too.
