I have been taking my animals to Dr. Jones from Day 1 at the current Webster location. She is always very thorough and explains things well. She will always give you all the options so you can make the best decision for your pet. Due to the exceptional care our pets (a dog and two cats) receive at Bayview Animal Hospital, we€ve become inclined to write this well-deserved review. The entire staff creates such a warm and caring environment that our pets actually enjoy visiting the office. I have never owned a dog that was excited to visit the vet, but our dog consistently drags us through the door to see some of his favorite people. The staff here genuinely cares about patients, going above and beyond to provide quality care. When our dog injured himself with a bad cut on his leg, they gave us care instructions and had us bring him immediately. This took place only a half-hour before they closed for the night, but they did not hesitate to take him in, stay late to provide care, and reassure us throughout the evening that they were happy to have helped. While we are impressed by the entire staff, it is worth mentioning that both doctors take the time to explain everything thoroughly in a way we can understand. They always give multiple options to fit our pets€ needs and our budget. They always take the time to answer our questions, never making us feel like they need to rush to their next appointment. Ever since my husband and I have moved to Rochester in January, we have been going to Bayview. I cannot say enough about this place, specifically Dr. Jones. She is so gracious, kind, knowledgeable and most of all she explains every detail so you're never left wondering. She unfortunately had to put my dog down (after almost 2 weeks of trying to fight his renal failure at Bayview as well as the hospital) and they stayed open late for us because I didn't want to have my dog go back to the place he was stuck for a week... They were so so nice and understanding and never pressured us to hurry up. Even helped us put his body in the car because we wanted to bury him. She also just did a surgery on one of my other dogs to remove some growths and it went amazing. I fully trust her and have never felt this comfortable entrusting my dogs with any vet. I can't say enough wonderful things about Bayview Animal Hospital. The office staff is very friendly, helpful, and always return calls in a timely manner. When my cat got so sick after my son started walking(nerves), Doctor Jones was always willing to call and explain everything that might be going on with her, and things we could try to remedy it. Sometimes this was at 8 or 9 in the evening when I know she wasn't on the clock. She would answer all of my questions. We have moved to Columbus, OH, and I have NO idea how we are going to find a vet nearly as good! The one vet I called in the small town we are in had never heard of a cat on Prozac. Luckily, Doctor Jones has kept us supplied for 3 more months until we can find our forever house in a suburb closer to the city. She knows that the last thing Silvia needs is another vet visit when we had our yearly right before we moved from Webster. My cats have been patients at Bayview Animal Hospital for more than 14 years (and a dog I once had as well). I can't say enough good things about the people at Bayview. The veterinarians there are top notch, caring and honest and aware of the things we don't like to think about (like money issues). There is never any pressure to have tests or give medications that are pricey -- and yet, my cats have always gotten the best care and are healthy and happy. The veterinary technicians are also terrific, and the office staff is wonderful. I recommend this clinic to all my friends with pets. I wouldn't take my babies anywhere else. Read Less

My wife and I received a sympathy card from Bayview the other day for our cat. It arrived a few weeks after his death and in addition to the card there was personalized paw print of Dawg along with this poem... "If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again."
