I have used the services of Dr. Fine for over 10 years. He always provides excellent care for my pets. His office is "No frills" and naturally has an animal smell. He gives you all of your options without any pressure. His pricing is very reasonable. The staff is extremely accommodating, especially during emergency situations. he is fairly priced and helpful expect I brought in a kitten who needed his shots and I was bringing him home to my two healthy cats, he asked me if I had any questions and I asked if the kitten was ready to be around these two cats in which he told me YES HE IS. we tried to address the fact that the kitten was sneezing and had eye boogies but he told me it was "TOO SOON TO TELL IF HE IS SICK." Within not even 4 days of this kitten being around my healthy adult cats he passed the problem to my cats. I had to bring them into their vet ASAP and they now all have the calicivirus. This could have easily been addressed and avoided when he was in his office but instead of having one sick cat, I now have three. The office does have a smell but that's a given with any pet office. I do enjoy the fair pricing but I am thoroughly disappointed with the kittens treatment. The receptionist was also unprofessional because I watched her flip off another customer underneath her desk when she(the customer) came in to pick up her cats medicine. We have been going to Dr. Jack Fine's office for roughly 7 years now. As someone who has a veterinary background, I fully trust him with all of my animals. Yes, some reviewers are correct that there is a "smell", but do you know that he has a ton of cats on his property that he feeds and takes care of that are strays? He has never forced us into any treatment or procedure and has saved us thousands of dollars on medical bills in the past. I highly recommend him, and recommend anyone else to go to him. He is about an hour from me in distance, and I still make the trip because he is THAT awesome with the animals. If you want a vet office that has a 5 star vacation resort feel to it, then go somewhere that charges $500+ to treat 1 animal. I can take 4 of my pets here for under $200, probably even $150. His prices are extremely reasonable, extremely fair, and the most low-cost and inexpensive vet around. I will always be a client! Read Less

Dr. Fine is a very good vet. Yes his office does smell of pet urine but if you can get by that there is nothing in question about his abilities as a a vet. lately though over the past few years any time you call his office you can't get a hold of him as the line is always busy. The office was absolutely horrific, I didn't even want to sit down. As soon as you walk in the only thing you could smell was the atrocious scent of cat urine. The "secretary" didn't write a receipt or handle the money. Dr. Fine handled the money and didn't even know how to administer the medication my dog needed without reading the directions himself. He said, "Do as many drops you think is necessary for as long as you see fit or until your bottle runs out." Being the owner, and having some veterinary knowledge myself, I had to tell him what I wanted and he did it with no questions. When he checked my dogs ear, the tool wasn't even clean. He took a q-tip to breifly wipe it, and the needles didn't even look sterile at all. The only good thing is he's cheap (still unsure if that's such a good thing now), and he's available short notice.Read Less

Dr Fine is a wonderful vet who does not try to talk/guilt you into extremely expensive tests and procedures but will instead ask you what you would like to have done. His fees are more than reasonable, reminiscent of the old country vets my parents used when we were kids. He will also help you to find other vets to handle any procedures that they do not perform there. I liken going there to people who are used to 5 star hotel accommodations who then stay at budget hotel and do nothing but complain about it. If that's what you're used to and enjoy it, then stay there so there's more availability for the rest of us who don't mind it. Read Less

Dr Fine is a very caring Vet! He let me call him on Christmas Day to discuss the health of my sick dog - I'll never forget that. His staff is always pleasant. They take have squeezed my dog in on days when they were booked because my dog was uncomfortable. Dr Fine obviously is not in it for the money. They are all good people.
