Not the best place to bring your cat. I took my cat in cause she had ear mite/yeast infection. They flipped her carrier over on to the table and freaked her out (my cat is a very big scared cat) she jumped off the table and hid under a cabinet... They deemed her "aggressive" since then.first of all, Cats only hiss for many reason but this time was not aggression, it was fear and confusion. Maybe if the vet techs handled her properly she wouldn't of been so scared and jumped from a high table considering she has problems with her back legs as well. never taking my cat here again. highly recommend the elmhurst animal hospitals instead, open 24 hrs and very nice professional vet techs who know proper handling techniques and know how to make your pet feel comfortable. Dr. Oswaldo is THE BEST vet I've ever encountered. Thank you to him and all his staff for caring for my furry little one. He's my dogs primary care doctor. I've came to him on multiple locations. It's so hard, I repeat SO hard to find a vet that cares for your pet and not just make sales like a salesman. I've been to so many other vets before. Even ones with great reviews in flushing. They are CRAP. Couldn't even treat a skin irritation. Then I came to my local vet and my dog was better in no time. Recently my dog was diagnosed with a lump and Dr Oswaldo performed the surgical operation and made sure he was fine and followed through the entire process. I wish I could give negative stars. I went to this vet once 4 years ago. It was my friend's recommendation (She had a puppy). It was an male senior vetenarian who examined my kitten. I just adopted a kitten from the rescue center.  He had to take his 2nd shot, deworming medicine and had a little bit of coughing issue. First of all, it looks like he didn't like cats or. is inexperienced with cats. He was trying to feed a deworming pill to my 5 month kitten.He tried to open kitten's mouth by force twice and then he've used metal tool to open my kitten's mouth. Well. Other vets I have been to after this one- they use either syrange( and liquid deworming medicine so the cat could swallow better) and/or open kitten's mouth very gently. After deworming medicine, my cat was very upset and bit his hand. The vet gave my cat the rabie shot without our permission. He just said, " oh he needed it anyway." After this horrible experience with vet, I never went back here again. They may kow the dog but if you have a cat go somewhere who is specialized in the cat. Read Less

If I had a choice to give a zero star I definitely would.This place used to really good when I was taking my dog there for shots and other health conditions.I recently got a kitty and I paid over $100 the first time excluding the vaccination. The kitty needs 3 vaccinations for 3 weeks apart. I just went there today for the second vaccines and they charged another $70 of exam fee. Not to mention they spent less than 5 mins just checking her eyes, they have no right to charge another exam fee just 3 weeks after the fist visit.This place is a rip off and I don't recommend anyone to go there again. Almost five years ago, my wife and I adopted our 2 year old (at the time) Basset Hound, Monty. This was our first experience having a dog, so we were a bit nervous and unclear on exactly what to do. From day one, the team at Whitestone Animal Hospital has been there to support us every step of the way. When we bring him for visits or when he has needed a procedure, the entire staff treats him, and us, with such care, love ,professionalism and expertise. They have always done right by Monty. There have been many times when I have called Dr. Merker for Veterinary advise, and he has always made the time listen and support. Monty is currently a 7 year old, very healthy and happy Basset. Exceptional service, friendly stuff, and reasonable price! I needed a vet to care for our dogs and to board and care for my dogs while we were away on a trip. So we picked WhiteStone Animal Hospital because they were close and have used them multiple times already. We boarded our dogs over the our summer vacation, and we also had one of our dogs teeth cleaned, and got them both the shots they needed at the hospital. The people at WhiteStone Animal Hospital are communicative, transparent, nice, and timely. While we were on our trip, we asked if they could clean the teeth of the other dogs, and they called back to say that they didn't need to be cleaned. So it was nice to not have to pay for something extra and unnecessary. Their location is convenient, and their care has always been good. When you love animals like most pet owners do, you want to make sure to get the 100%, and Whitestone Animal Hospital has that. Try them, and you won't be disappointed. Read Less

Dr Rojas is useless. Asks the same question over and over, doesn't look at patients' history chart thoroughly, and makes decisions based on 5 yr old records. I highly doubt his license is valid. This guy and some of the staff members don't care about their patients. Lazy and stupid. Busy gossiping. They refused to help me feed pills to my 7 lbs dog because i told them she gets fidgety.Read Less

I have been going to the Whitestone Animal Hospital ever since I've had a dog. My last dog passed away a few months ago at 16 years old. Dr. Merker and his staff took excellent care of him since he was a puppy, throughout his last days. They are always friendly, considerate, helpful, funny and most of all, compassionate. I now have two new puppies, Gia who is 6 months old and Joey who is 9 months old. I would never consider taking them anywhere else. Read Less

I’ve been bringing my three and a half year old Yorki-Poo, Yodle, to Whitestone Veterinary Care for about two and a half years now. After several experiences with unprofessional, unkind, and uncaring vets, it was such a relief and comfort to find Dr. Wyler’s office. All of the Veterinarians are extremely professional and knowledgeable – taking the time to always answer any questions/concerns regarding medical procedures. Dr. Wyler and his staff also obviously care very much about each and every patient. The front desk staff and veterinary assistants are also very helpful and kind. Yodle was unfortunately a very sick puppy, but after being under the watchful eye of Dr. Wyler and his team, so no longer suffers from many of the medical conditions she was afflicted with when she was younger. I trust them to keep her healthy and happy, at a fair price, and with the same amount of love I would give her myself! I highly recommend!!! Read Less
